      Great question! It really depends on what goal are you after, whether that's power, hypertrophy or absolute strength. You can learn more about it here: exxentric.com/the-flywheel-workout-zones-how-to-pick-the-right-inertia/

    What kind of workout protocol does one use with this?

      @Exxentric  3 Π³ΠΎΠ΄Π° Π½Π°Π·Π°Π΄

      Thanks for commenting M.B.! Well it depends on what your goals are, and if you use flywheel training as a complement to your regular training, or if you just use flywheel training and nothing else. If the latter is your case, we would recommend you checking our programs at academy.exxentric.com/ πŸ’ͺ

    How do you change it to isometric?

    • @Exxentric

      Thanks M for commenting!
      In order to use our devices for isometric training, the only thing you have to do is to make sure there's no belt winded in the shaft. Then, you set your ROM where you wish to do isometrics on and you're ready to go. You can also do this with a training partner, and do isometric to concentric. You can learn more about it here: exxentric.com/flywheel-training/exercises/advanced/isometric-training/ πŸ’ͺ

      Hi Patrick, thanks for commenting! Absolutely, and in that case we would recommend getting several flywheels as you can stock them up together πŸ’ͺ

      @@Exxentricadding discs makes it easier, in a manner of speaking, to generate the force as it increases resistance for the eccentric and concentric, yes?

    • @Exxentric
      @Exxentric  9 мСсяцСв Π½Π°Π·Π°Π΄ +1

      @@theyetti90 Correct! The more inertia you have loaded on the device, the more force the flywheels will require in order to spin. This results in a slower movement and can imitate a 1RM with enough flywheels.
