I've had my Kbox active for almost a year now. I still use it all the time and really like it. The burn I get from it is unlike anything I get from standard weights. I primarily use it for squats, bar and rope curls, one arm rows, bent over bar row, deadlifts, lying tricep extensions (I move my bench over to it so the pulley is behind my head. I have to put weights on the Kbox so it doesn't lift off the ground). I still do squats and everything else with barbells too but it's nice to change it up to have some variety in my training. I have the advanced flywheel knob with 4-Large plates, 1 medium, and 1 small. I recently built a 1" platorm to raise the Kbox so I can purchase the XL plate. Man I have watched this video 3 times and for most of the movements I can closely replicate or emulate the eccentric overload on my other equipment. (Such as being able to lean back with the preacher pad and then slowly lower the weight). The one movement that seems hard to replicate is the sideways lunge/squat where one foot is on the platform and the other is on the ground. That seems very helpful with athletic movement. But what other ways are there to put stress on the body in a similar manner?? I’m just wondering if this movement is only able to be overloaded with this machine only.
You can hit chest with it, either sitting on the side and using the angle adjuster or push up with a spud inc front squat harness (what I do). That said, I generally focus on OHP more than bench so it isn't a huge issue for me.

Besides the position. How is this different from a row machine?
Do you regret not getting the Light or the Pro? the reason I ask as you can add 6 flywheels instead and with the pro you can add the XL wheel but at twice the cost.
I don’t regret. 4 large plates is more than enough for most people, which the active can accommodate with the upgraded knob.
@@GarageGymLab ok good deal I have the upgrade knob. Are you using 4 Large plates?
I have 2 building disk in lower back so I don't barbell squat anymore. is this something that will help my legs grow??? I been debating for ever to ether buy rhino or squat max md but don't know which one:(. Now I see this flywheel machine. anyways let me know. I already own a selectorized lat pull down, a selectorized functional trainer, stray dog goat, rogue bike, foldable rack and many more equipment. Just looking for a nice belt squat. Thank you
100% worth it
can you build some quadriceps only using this Kbox? And how can you train/gain some glutes? By variation on your squat maybe? TY
Belt squats and split squats hit those quads.
Anyone know where I can buy that quick release at 7:04 or what it is even called
So do they all come with those wedges and blocks? Or are all those add ons and cost more money?
They’re available in packages or you can purchase separately.
Is this design patented? I’m amazed the market hasn’t flooded with cheaper alternatives. There are some ive found.
It’s a shame by gen 4 they couldn’t get the price down
Could you please tell us the cheaper alternatives?
This or squat max md for belt squats?
Kbox or rhino belt squat?
Man I have watched this video 3 times and for most of the movements I can closely replicate or emulate the eccentric overload on my other equipment. (Such as being able to lean back with the preacher pad and then slowly lower the weight).
The one movement that seems hard to replicate is the sideways lunge/squat where one foot is on the platform and the other is on the ground. That seems very helpful with athletic movement. But what other ways are there to put stress on the body in a similar manner?? I’m just wondering if this movement is only able to be overloaded with this machine only.
Kbox or squat max md?
How noisy are these devices? I don’t want to disturb my neighbors. Many thanks in advance.
These make very little sound at all. The neighbors can’t hear it.
I can see someone jacking thier knees up by hyper extending the knees at the top
Up to 6000 dollars?
The pricing is incomprehensible lol
No kidding!!!! WOW! Exorbitant.
How do you do chest… what a serious drawback
You can hit chest with it, either sitting on the side and using the angle adjuster or push up with a spud inc front squat harness (what I do). That said, I generally focus on OHP more than bench so it isn't a huge issue for me.
Too expensive to consider, until my winning lottery ticket comes in. Sounds great, though. 👍
Nice stuff by way overpriced
Too expensive.
First maybe
You can’t do chest 😒
Cable machines are great but this is crap
Have u used one?
Yes if you pull it hard the cable just twangs or goes floppy,so you can only pull it slowly and softly.
Anyone interested in a clone message me
I’m interested in purchasing a clone
