Yea same. Trying to make my 7M-GTE last as long as I can for prices to drop because its just too damn expensive for a full JZ swap right now. About 10k ish for a full swap, this is about the upper end my spectrum as im seeing 3.5k - 6.5k for just a complete engine.
Yea there's no cylinder head or cams or pistons or anything to go with it. Who knows maybe they'll make engines for people that just want a decent engine swap

@@brandonlittle6444 I wouldn't trust a 8-10k in parts in a unknown block. Anyway stock oem blocks are selling at around 3k so a better, stronger, and nicer Dart block shouldn't be far off.
I'm glad to see some aftermarket options for import engines. Would love to see this expanded to other engine families in the future. Especially as some of the famous cars of yesteryear get older, it becomes more difficult to source good cores.

This is awesome, I always thought someone should start mass producing these engines and that they would sell if they are relatively affordable. I did find a company that makes an aluminum billet 2JZ block and it looks pretty amazing. It has cross bolted 4 bolt mains. But that thing is about 10 grand. I love that they made this one with 4 bolt mains. As strong as the original is with only 2 bolt main this must be amazing. This block is on sale right now for $4,634.99, MSRP is $4,736.83 with 1/2 inch or 11mm head stud machining. That's not a bad price considering what you are getting, and the fact that this is much stronger than the already strong factory block. If you built a 600 to 800 horsepower Street machine based off of this it would probably just about last forever.
This is the kind of stuff aftermarket companies should be investing in, making replacement parts for old classic cars, since OEM and the gov are fixed on getting rid of reliable technology.
