I think that’s a common feeling towards vague descriptions of patch notes. Borderlands has been pretty transparent with their patch notes honestly, always using percentages and understandable language.

if you look at buyable currency in Gearbox games, Battleborn has that, but it is more of a "buy this to get fancy skins and to support the devs" kind of deal instead of Electronics assholes tier crap.

We will have cosmetic changes available for Fl4ks pets and Mozes Ironbear. It's been show in the latest trailer I believe. Hopefully the extents of those cosmetics give awesome options like top hats, pet clothing, wings, all types of weird shit
I love the fact that you talked to the dev about eridian being paid with real money and the dev was like "what? No No. Monetization?" I know it's like not that big of a deal for some. But when you play so many games like Fallout 76 and Anthem with their currency where you CAN pay real money to get more of? Hearing those words is a really great thing to know about.
I usually pay no mind to micro transactions because from the games I've played they are always cosmetic. Like as long as it's not "Pay 4,99 for 200% increased EXP for 2 hours or buy this and instantly get strong enough gear to make you overpowered for 30 levels" Then I don't give a shit and if anything kind of glad about cosmetic micro transactions because people will always want to throw they're wallet at the developers in order to get some hat or something because more money for a game means better content and maybe more content than originally planned.

I think it's going to be like when you get the skill and if you go out of the Iron Bear it'll be ai controlled and you'll basically have another player for The short period of time if you're playing solo since he was playing that way I think it's a pretty useful skill to have.
The cooldown for iron bear starts when u get out of iron bear not when it goes away. So it's a way of abusing the cooldown while still getting firepowee
@Grym You're naive for thinking every game dev studio out there is trying to rob their fans. Gearbox has been one of the better game developers. Perhaps you could argue the pricing for a lot of the DLC in Borderlands 2, but many of the individual developers and producers at Gearbox seem to be STRONGLY against micro-transactions of any form. We shouldn't ignore that other "companies" like EA, Bethesda, and Activision perform a lot of shady business practices. I think that garbage is ruining the industry. Still, there is no need to turn every single AAA studio into some sort of monster. We still have great companies like CDPR and Gearbox who, for the most part, seem to have our best interests at heart. Sure, perhaps there would be less "drama" if Randy Pitchford hadn't try to convince everyone that the Epic Games Store is good, or if he didn't exist in the first place. Perhaps people would be more willing to trust Gearbox, who is just a development studio, if everyone didn't believe that Gearbox had anything to do with SupMatto's channel being deleted (and more). Randy Pitchford is the only problem I see with Gearbox.

Other question i have is how long do we have to wait for the first level cap increase...? Not that I do not like the grind...I love game! It is one my favs if not my favs of all time but the grinf for weapons for characters to stay relevant gets old really fast especially for those gamers like myself who tend to really only play on the toughest difficulties....are the enemies going to regenerate health like bdls2 at higher levels? ..i hope not
@tha family..i see why youd like it but i was using slag since the first play through of blds2 and stay consistent with my style of play so the health regen for enemies only made me laugh....especially because i did notice that this seemed to be experimental at best. Slag didnt function properly at first but it ended up having the same function as the ice weapons of the presequel in a sense. So slag became the wave of play for some but made weapon choice and gear pretty narrow for end game strategies.
@the dead guy..i certainly understand the need for feeling complete with a game etc. Knowing how things play out with DLCs having various waves of new content etc. It is definitely a thing that games tend to keep in mind in a way it is essential to do everything they can to keep us all happily playing for as long as possible. Tough to do without level cap increasing to kind evolve the gameplay and characters. Judging by some of the dmg and stat specs i seen so far, it would appear that the balancing of blds3 mirrors the presequel more closely than it does blds2 which is great, the presequel was way more balanced than blds2. To your point though Id rather have the highest level cap available at launch with all the content that i purchased because i tend to beat games really really fast. The longer I wait the more likely I am to move onto another game.
I hope the Torgue Sticky bombs don't get patched on day one because i like to build Moze around it myself but seeing some crazy stuff on youtube like killing a entire boss with only on mag I highly doubt it

I personally hate the "one time season updates" because iam not able to play everyday during some of those events and it makes you feel almost forced to play. Like "Well if you dont play this game during this season you just straight up miss all the content . That doesn't make sense to me for some who actually has real life obligations.
I do agree with this. It's forcing needless scarcity with content. Unlocking everything is a significant element of replay value and fun within games that is being heavily underestimated and devalued lately with all these things. There are positives with season content though and that's the fact that there is always something to work towards unlocking and its fun. But there is a clear right way to do it and a clear wrong way to do it. CTR for example, crash team racing, has grand prix seasons per month and while i haven't unlocked everything, it hasn't felt like a time constraint. I unlock the stuff i really want and enjoy them, knowing that eventually the items will return so i can go completionist on it at a later date. Completionists cannot do what they enjoy in a game where stuff is only available for a short period of time and that's unfortunate, while i can imagine they would still enjoy the game, it takes away that satisfaction of having everything for many people. Limiting it and never bringing it back or making it available frequently enough is just all negatives. It doesn't add value it devalues the game.
Well, not to be rude or burst your bubble, but games aren't designed around people with minimal play time. They are tailored more towards people with maximum exposure. To make a game for millions of players based around the play time of people who can only enjoy a few hours a week would be completely ridiculous. Am i the only one who feels like mozes mech damage is kinda bad for the cooldown to Active time ratio? i understand that they don't want another sal but when the mechs damage is that low you might as well not use it... i hope it scales well off gun damage otherwise i think we're going to end up with another brick situation where you never use the skill... Why would Flakk's pets do more damage. The pets arent Flakk's only action. Flakk has action skill and pets that help Flakk out. They dont need to do a lot of damage, when Flakk has other ways to do good damage from the action skills. I coul;d see the upgraded pets doing a little more damage but the pets are only ment to help out Flakk not kill everything for Flakk.

makes more sense to run it seperatly right? 4 players generate more variety in loot, trade after a run if needed. Im not so sure im gonna love this approach that you can keep running it for no cost, like money or eridium or smth. Free passage to spam areas for loot and stuff, the areas needs to be long and you need the difficulty to be pretty significant or it will be the easiest waste of game ever =/

Whole this Proving ground looks to me like a solution to enemy-based challenges. In BL2, you would look at challenges, find out "damn i need 152 more bullymongs, lets do some boring farm and randomly search them in map". Now it is like "I need 152 jabbers, cool, lets do some Proving grounds where dozens of jabbers spawn and run against you AND i can actually get good stuff doing it". If this was done intentionaly, great job... from what i saw, devs really seemed to found tons of things that were annyoning (not exactly bad) and actually tried to improve them.
I really love the lighting in this game, i feel like it gives the guns a look that makes them seem far more real, yet still the style of the old games.
If you have a character that’s reached “Ultimate Vault Hunter,” if you join a friend who’s a lower level and hasn’t yet reached the higher difficulties will you still playing with UVH enemies? While your friend sees them as basic enemies?
Great question here..from what i have seen i think there may be rules around being in the same game but loot instancing if i am explaining this right, allows for the dmg of enemies to be scaled down by the higher lvl player but i havent seen info about a character being several game modes ahead and how the enemies well spawn in a lower tier game mode.
D'Artangen Peterson I assume they’d limit it to within the three gamemodes so only the levels of enemies and loot would scale, rather than the difficulty
So, Moze was the one I was interested in the least...but dude just rose her stock with my by saying she has a skill where she can throw grenades in FFYL. I've been saying everyone should have that for years now as I feel like FFYL shouldn't work against you, you should have every chance possible to stay in the action, for as long as possible. But making it a skill is a start.

I wish there was a destiny like item you could use each season/dlc to make a character at the previous cap so I could play the new dlc/season content with them. If the campaign is 35+ hours, I simply don't have the time to run it 4 times to play all 4 baking hunters like I'd like to. Playing one is hard enough on my time with a family and other games to play, etc.

Thank you! No one is asking about chubby or tubby enemies and the drop rate %s compared to the big change in drop rates for the previous games. Bdls games were way better after they increased the drop rates...fortunately ive been really good at the game but Bdls 2 drop rates sucked at launch and for quite some time in the beginning. It seems like we wont have that issue with bdl3 but if i were there id be asking about some of theses experiences of the past hoping to get affirmation that the launch experience will be great and not suck like bdls2.
@Mayan Ruins These are stupid questions too, though. Why would they fix the problem in BL2, but then make the same mistake in BL3 for no reason? Someone else was asking a dumb question before, too, wondering if BL3's NG+ modes were going to be the same as BL2's UVHM, where the enemies regenerated health at an absurd rate. Like, they fixed that problem in the Presequel. They made UVHM better and more reasonable in the Presequel, so why would they go backwards for no reason? We don't need people wasting time asking dumb questions like these.

Idk I like the health Regen to a point. It made it so you have to be agressive. Only thing I disliked about op levels were how important slag was.

I'm still playing endgame in bl2 lol especially since the new dlc. Got to get them lv 72 characters all to 80.

Completionists cannot do what they enjoy in a game where stuff is only available for a short period of time and that's unfortunate, while i can imagine they would still enjoy the game, it takes away that satisfaction of having everything for many people.
Limiting it and never bringing it back or making it available frequently enough is just all negatives. It doesn't add value it devalues the game.
Well, not to be rude or burst your bubble, but games aren't designed around people with minimal play time. They are tailored more towards people with maximum exposure. To make a game for millions of players based around the play time of people who can only enjoy a few hours a week would be completely ridiculous. I know it feels unfair, but that's just the way it is☹

@@Damomonopolos Well I mean I get that, but couldn't they just do it where you have an option to idk join a lobby or server with the past seasons in it? Kind of like how in bl2 you can go to the FTS and pick areas that are specifically related to different dlcs. Iam just saying idk why the seasonal events have to permanently go away. If anything I prefer the way MHW handles the event/season model and actually gives you multiple times to complete stuff.

Am i the only one who feels like mozes mech damage is kinda bad for the cooldown to Active time ratio? i understand that they don't want another sal but when the mechs damage is that low you might as well not use it... i hope it scales well off gun damage otherwise i think we're going to end up with another brick situation where you never use the skill... (Of course that's just me i might be over thinking this considering it is skaggs and spiderants so...)

Why would Flakk's pets do more damage. The pets arent Flakk's only action. Flakk has action skill and pets that help Flakk out. They dont need to do a lot of damage, when Flakk has other ways to do good damage from the action skills. I coul;d see the upgraded pets doing a little more damage but the pets are only ment to help out Flakk not kill everything for Flakk.

makes more sense to run it seperatly right? 4 players generate more variety in loot, trade after a run if needed. Im not so sure im gonna love this approach that you can keep running it for no cost, like money or eridium or smth. Free passage to spam areas for loot and stuff, the areas needs to be long and you need the difficulty to be pretty significant or it will be the easiest waste of game ever =/

Whole this Proving ground looks to me like a solution to enemy-based challenges. In BL2, you would look at challenges, find out "damn i need 152 more bullymongs, lets do some boring farm and randomly search them in map". Now it is like "I need 152 jabbers, cool, lets do some Proving grounds where dozens of jabbers spawn and run against you AND i can actually get good stuff doing it". If this was done intentionaly, great job... from what i saw, devs really seemed to found tons of things that were annyoning (not exactly bad) and actually tried to improve them.

If you have a character that’s reached “Ultimate Vault Hunter,” if you join a friend who’s a lower level and hasn’t yet reached the higher difficulties will you still playing with UVH enemies? While your friend sees them as basic enemies?
Great question here..from what i have seen i think there may be rules around being in the same game but loot instancing if i am explaining this right, allows for the dmg of enemies to be scaled down by the higher lvl player but i havent seen info about a character being several game modes ahead and how the enemies well spawn in a lower tier game mode.

So, Moze was the one I was interested in the least...but dude just rose her stock with my by saying she has a skill where she can throw grenades in FFYL. I've been saying everyone should have that for years now as I feel like FFYL shouldn't work against you, you should have every chance possible to stay in the action, for as long as possible. But making it a skill is a start.
Sadly they gutted Moze because of how badly they messed up with Salvador. So the new "zerker" had to be nerfed compared to BL2.

I wish there was a destiny like item you could use each season/dlc to make a character at the previous cap so I could play the new dlc/season content with them. If the campaign is 35+ hours, I simply don't have the time to run it 4 times to play all 4 baking hunters like I'd like to. Playing one is hard enough on my time with a family and other games to play, etc.

Thank you! No one is asking about chubby or tubby enemies and the drop rate %s compared to the big change in drop rates for the previous games. Bdls games were way better after they increased the drop rates...fortunately ive been really good at the game but Bdls 2 drop rates sucked at launch and for quite some time in the beginning. It seems like we wont have that issue with bdl3 but if i were there id be asking about some of theses experiences of the past hoping to get affirmation that the launch experience will be great and not suck like bdls2.
@Mayan Ruins These are stupid questions too, though. Why would they fix the problem in BL2, but then make the same mistake in BL3 for no reason? Someone else was asking a dumb question before, too, wondering if BL3's NG+ modes were going to be the same as BL2's UVHM, where the enemies regenerated health at an absurd rate. Like, they fixed that problem in the Presequel. They made UVHM better and more reasonable in the Presequel, so why would they go backwards for no reason? We don't need people wasting time asking dumb questions like these.

I've seen some gameplay before with class mods on. It looks that way, at least if you have enough points in the tree to reach the skill.

One of those is it but this time you have a lot of bonuses like increasing your drop rate chance or increasing your movement speed in FFYL.
