6:19 am...oils boiling! Gonna surprise my hubs this morning with yummy donuts!! Thanks for the easy to understand video and instructions, God's blessings to you and your kitchen!!❤🍩😄
Can't wait to make these! I'm going to make donut holes a little bigger than the ones you had and I'm going to make mini king cakes with them and fill them with a cream cheese filling for Mardi Gras!
I love everything you make, thank you for sharing and doing a great job demonstrating how to make desserts etc., in all of your videos. I'm one of your biggest fans but so busy, I have not much time to comment. However your the best!
Hmmm I don’t know that I’ve ever even had a Turkish delight. It would take me a while to figure out how to make them and get the footage shot so I’m not sure I can get it done in 2 months. Sorry... 😔
I just discovered your videos and I’m saving every one of them to my playlist. I ❤pie! Now I found your doughnut recipe. So I have a question for you. Have you ever heard of Shiplies Donuts? They are a Texas company. Anyway they make a chocolate (yeast) donut, and that’s the only place that I have ever seen them. As a kid growing up it was a real treat to get them. But Texas is the only place I ever find them. I have ask donut shops here in California to make them but I have been told that you can’t make chocolate yeast donuts. I don’t know how to make them I only know how to eat them. Do you think you could make them and do a video of how to do it. I would ❤that 🎉.
I knew I could come to you for answers. I had a suggestion from RUclips from someone else about air frier donuts and I wanted to try it, but she, I won't mention Emma's name, didn't tell me if I should use salted or unsalted butter. Of course, I searched your channel to see if you had any air frier donuts, but I figured any donut recipe from you would be complete. Sure enough. :-D
I'm so excited to make these! Me and my friend will be making them tomorrow and I'm really excited to see how they turn out! When I last made donuts (from a different recipe) they weren't that great so I'm hoping this one will be better🤞 (pretty sure they'll be awesome! I love your website too!❤️
I'm always so happy to see how comfortable you are with yeast dough these days. I still remember the days a few years ago when you were all but terrified of them :) Have you tried making any bread yet? I know you made some bread rolls / buns, but there are few things as satisfying in baking as cutting into your freshly baked loaf of bread and tasting a slice of fresh, and still slightly warm, home made bread. If you are interested in any recipes, let me know. The basics are super simple (flour, water, yeast, salt, that's it) but there is an endless variety of types of flours, styles of doughs and shapes for the bread.
I'm sure you will get there. It looks more intimidating than it actually is. You already mastered the "hard" part, making yeast dough (or rather, overcoming the reservations of trying to make yeast dough). All that's left now is to throw a batch in a loaf pan (I usually line them with parchment paper), let rise for 30-60min and then bake (depending on the size of the dough/pan anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes). Btw, you can also make sweet bread. Simply add some sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract. You would probably be able to use your bread roll dough as a very good base for that one. That should result in a light and fluffy bread which would be ideal with some butter and sprinkles on top, although I imagine strawberry jam or anything similar would also go great with it :)
I’m gonna try this recipe pretty soon but if you don’t have time and you want to be a cheapskate and like me can also use premade biscuit dough and it works great to
I really don’t recommend doing it without a thermometer. If your oil is too hot it will burn the outside and not cook the inside. If it’s not hot enough you’ll end up with a greasy mess. They are only a couple of dollars on amazon if you want one. It’s an awesome tool to have. I linked to one in the description. 😊
Yes! He loved them ❤️ thank you ma'am!!
Yay! I’m so glad they turned out. 😊
I tried it this with glaze it was amazing !!!!!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it so much! 😊

Do you need a stand mixer for this, or could you use a handheld mixer?
A hand may not be able to handle it. 😔

I haven’t mastered a whole loaf of bread yet. I’m working my way there. It’s hard for me to get off of the sweets sometimes. 😂😂
