There was SO MUCH good stuff here! EASILY the best Partner Showcase they've ever done and probably the best Mini they've ever done too tied with the one where they revealed Xenoblade Definitive Edition.

Between Persona and BN Legacy collection, I'm starting to think gaming isn't far off from getting its groove back.
This is a tough call cause it has been so LONG since i last been this happy over a direct! If I have to pick one.... That would be Persona games coming to the switch! I am really excited to play 5 Royal and 3 Portable on the go! I already own Persona 4 Golden on steam and I don't see the reason to get it on the switch once I get the steam deck to play on it. I am looking forward to Sonic Frontiers. But I am just keeping my expectations in check so I won't get too disappointed if it flops.

KH is developed in house so it’s probably different
Also I’ve been playing KH1 and they fixed the game it’s been really smooth outside a couple of laggy cutscenes but it’s not that crazy
Maybe it’ll get worse when I get To KH2 or 3 idk but so far my experience with kh1 has been mostly flawless
Although I took a break cuz I can’t get past Cerberus
Also, to play Devil's Advocate, Nier Automata is only one game, but if they were going to get the Kingdom Hearts collections to work on the Switch they're looking at at least 8 games so it would have been a lot more work, even though they maybe could have done it eventually.

I feel like there's another direct on the horizon, maybe in September.
But this one was amazing. I'm not interested in Persona, but happy for the fans. Will probably pick up Blanc and Nier and, maybe the train one and Sonic.
Persona 5 Royal and Nier Automata are native on Switch but not Kingdom Hearts. Square what the hell?

Megaman Network!!!!!! I was right the combat for Sonic Frontier in the IGN trailer was just them being bad at the game. Hoping for Astral Chain 2.

"I love me some Harvest Moon." I think you mean "Story of Seasons". The first few Harvest Moon games were localizations of "Story of Seasons". 😜
I came into the direct with the challenge of keeping the 😐 face. But some announcements like Nier really shocked me.

If Portal Collection is coming to the Switch, hopefully that means Half-life will come too. It would be awesome if Valve ever decides to start making games for the Switch, they'd definitely have an audience.

I thought it was good! Just pre-ordered a physical copy of NieR Automata at the Square-Enix store. It was leaked ahead of time, but still genuinely surprised to see it highlighted during the showcase!
It was surprisingly pretty good. Can't wait to play portal for the first time. And nier

This was legit really good. So much so that a lot of moments stood out. Of course P3-P5 coming to Switch is just huge. Now all these games are going to be so accessible for people. Now if I want to play Golden portable I can actually choose between my Vita and something else. Honestly more hyped for P3 and P4 on Switch than Royal since I'm good with the version I've got. But it's nice overall.
The other one that got me was Blanc. That seems really good. Definitely makes me think to Journey back in 2012. Just visual and musical storytelling that could be great.
Also hyped for the Megaman collection. That's a big collection and I didn't see that coming.

that is a truly STACKED Direct! I don't own a Switch myself due to finances, but a lot of these titles are looking awesome. Personally I'm invested in the Battle Network Legacy Collection, which btw will also be releasing for PS4 & Steam at the same time as for Switch!

Battle Network was a shock. I was sure Legends LC would be next given they were going down the main timeline (Classic - X - Zero - ZX - Legends).

NieR Automata and Replicant got probably one of my FAVORITE stories of all time. Extremely heartbreaking but BEAUTIFUL and MONUMENTAL.

Now there is no excuse at ALL now that Nier: Automata is non-cloud gaming, and so are the Persona games. If they can 100% run well without Cloud, so can the old Kingdom Hearts games at least.
Exactly at least 1.5 and 2.5 can, I can understand 3 being cloud.

Nier: Automata isn't Cloud version 100%, and looking at the trailer multiple times, the graphics and Gameplay seem to be almost the same exact result as the other Platform versions.

So I was kinda half expecting Persona, but Nier: Automata with new outfits? That's a surprise.
I respect everyone's difference opinions of some think it's a good nintendo direct, ok nintendo direct or if some think it was a bad nintendo direct well for me i thought it was a good nintendo direct in my opinion i think nobody is wrong for having difference honest opinion and preference
remember that Nier Automata was coodeveloped by Platinum too, something tells me thats the reason, and another reason Bayo 3 is having such a slow development
