This is probably my favorite Nintendo Direct so far cause they're finally porting NieR Automata and Persona 5, 2 games that I've been waiting to get ported on the Switch since forever, I seriously can't wait to play these amazing games!

Yeah, the thing is... all the games are old i had nier since 2018-2019 cant even remember and i beat persona 5 royale back in 2020 and that its without counting that both games are free on xbox.

I was literally screaming in my car when I saw the announcement about Persona 5 Royal! I cannot wait to finally play this game for the first time!
Persona 5 Royal was amazing. 200 hours flew by.
Make sure to max out the male psychiatrist otherwise you won't get the expansion story line. No one told me about this in my playthrough and I completely missed all of it.

@@ferny764 why be sad. The Switch never runs games in a great resolution. The ps4 version will look better and probably have better fps. With that said the portability is nice. Nintendo needs a Switch Pro.

Persona 5 Royal is definetely one of the best games of all time from story, soundtrack, gameplay, characters and pretty much everything. Can't wait to play it again in my cozy bed 🥲
I played Persona 3 on my PSP 7 years ago or so. Persona 5 on my PS3 3 years ago. Persona 4 on PS3 this year. All I is Persona 6 on Switch and now there is hope maybe because Persona 5 released on the PS3. Also I get to play Royal now but I think the music in original 5 might be better

I'm gonna be honest. I liked the direct quite a but but I got really excited to see Pac Man World RePac because it means they might be trying to test the waters for a new game. I love all the Pac World games and I am excited to play this remake.
Yeah he said who was asking for this for that series, and then yelled his excitement for Monkey Island which is one of the most boring games I have ever played. Who was asking for that game is the real question.

I just really hope the Switch versions get physical releases because then I will fully be on board playing them on Switch over Steam Deck.
Persona 5 is getting a physical release while Persona 3 and 4 are getting digital releases.
....why do you need a physical release in order to want to play the game? That makes no sense. The case isn't what you play, the game is.
@@shadominx3696 many people prefer to have a case and game card, makes you feel like you own the game.
With digital you take it or leave it as there are many other ways to download the game.
@@shadominx3696 because I also collect so I'd rather get the game physically if possible. Also they are all older games, so performance shouldn't be an issue and wouldn't sway my decision away from getting it physically on Switch.

I was really happy. I’ve had a buddy wanting me to play Nier, Sonic Frontiers while still have some issues looks really fun (I legit teared up when I heard that metalcore battle theme in it I’m surprisingly hyped for it), and of course, like many others, P5 Royal was the big thing for me. I got Strikers to fill the itch but I had to put it down cause I wanted to wait till I beat Royal first. And now I can. I’m really happy
For me it's a split joy. I wanted games like Witcher and Persona so bad on Switch, but the system obviously isn't fit for PS4 titles (which is double sad since PS4 is already a past era). At least in docking mode, Switch should be able to perform as well as PS4 and Xbox, but it's not. That means we get games years later and still have to deal with a heavily visually downgraded version. Nintendo finally needs to step up their console game if they want to stay relevant, for how many years are people screaming "Switch Pro" at them now? And now, with the SteamDeck, they again waited too long and missed their opportunity. _N i n t e n d o, w h y_

It was so good for being a Direct mini (Partner Showcase)! I liked all the games in this one except for the train one (which was still pretty cool for those who like that kind of game), but my highlights, not including games already announced, were Nier, the Megaman Battle Network collection, Pac-Man World, Blanc, RPG Time, Harvestella and of course Persona.
Honestly I was most surprised and excited by Pac-Man worlds I was addicted to that game back when I was a kid.

I'm easily the most excited for Spark of Hope. I thought the first one would be just ok but I couldn't put it down. I don't even like turn based games and I hate rabbids, but it was somehow a 10/10 for me. Spark of Hope will have to be a late birthday present.

The battlenetwork collection has me in nostalgia hype for real and Dragon Quest Treasure seems like a spiritual successor to the various DQ Monsters spin off for which I'm very grateful! and Harvestella omg, I wasn't expecting that type of J-Fantasy harvest moon ! All in all, the direct was a big win imo!
I wish there was a way to see how much Factor charges you every single week without the promo discounts. I've been interested in a service like that for quite a bit. Price is okay with the discount but the price you're set to pay after it and every week forward should be pretty cut and clear for you to see.

Overall a great Direct. Portal Collection releasing today at a very decent price was my insta pick. Don't like JRPGs, especially with anime esthetic, so this was actually my biggest dissappointment, if it was mid Direct I would have no issues...but as the last big standout...a collection of PS3, PSP and PS4 games...eh?
Still, a solid 7/10

@@coochie8670 Yeah well Switch tax exists. They are on a Sale and they don’t pay 30% as it’s a Valve IP. Not really comparable unless you own a Steam Deck.

October is a huge month for nintendo switch and I love it
flowers weren't glitching its called LOD(Level of Distance) what that means is to use low quality asset when they are far away from camera, and switch to "higher" quality version when camera gets close enough to save rendering cost by the device, you'll notice this in almost every game, in this game LOD is much more apparent at this stage, I'm sure the reason is performance, same goes for rocks popping in, they probably getting extremely bad performance that's why they lowered the textures, sonic at this stage might be eating a lot of memory which is required for textures to load
Bro I legit got excited when they announced a remake or "Re-Pac" of Pac-Man world. I had no idea it was already announced until a few weeks ago. That was probably my 1st video game I ever played. I'm super excited to pick it up & relive my childhood.

Persona 5 The Royal is so superior to Persona 5 Vanilla. Honestly it would be a drag to play and complete 5 to then play 5R so soon but trust me the extra bits of story, small yet new mechanics, the 2 new characters for the story, and the "third semester" really make it worth it!

Persona 3,4 and of course the amazing 5 will definitely revive my switch. Honestly this thing is just a jrpg/visual novel machine for me. Just like the vita before it. It just doesn’t have enough power to be anything more and I love it, it has a special place in my heart. Playing these games on the big screen as well as on the go will be amazing
Not gonna lie, Live A Live looks sick and already downloaded the demo. I'm taking my time with the Dragon Quest 11 demo, so I'm intrigued with Treasures. If I didn't just pickup Persona 5 yesterday, I would've been more excited for Persona 5 Royal. Besides that, I'm pumped for all of the Persona games coming to the little console that could. If the partner direct was this awesome, I can't wait for the first party direct

This mini Direct surpassed my expectations! Mario + Rabbids and Persona coming to Switch were my highlights, Nier Automata, Pac World remake and Portal collection shadow drop caught me off guard, and Blanc was a wholesome surprise. Loved watching this!

Overall it was a solid direct. Although there wasn’t anything that made me think “I need to preorder this right now”, they showed a lot of stuff that looked pretty good just not for me. I am interested in Live A Live and Monkey Island though
Seeing MegaMan, Persona, Pac Man, monster hunter, and nier made it amazing
I been loving playing Persona 4 & 5 on Playstation consoles and now after non-stop waiting & speculation we finally get Persona 4 & 5 on Switch and its not gonna be cloud-based which is great to hear. P4 & P3 most likely will be eShop only but hopefully we get a physical release for P5R just as we got one for P5 Strikers.
Blanc & that unique-looking RPG framed as notebook drawings both look really interesting. A new Monkey Island game is great news although I don't think I like the new artstyle the game utilizes, should've just kept the animated look of the previous games instead. I cannot wait to try out Live A Live. Monster Hunter Sunbreak is gonna be bada@$. Fire Emblem: 3 Hopes is gonna be a ton of fun. I never got the chance to play any of the Mega Man Battle Network games so happy to see them all arriving on Switch so I can finally try this series out. The only negative here was that Sonic Frontiers which already looked troubling prior to today's Direct still looks rough and yet Sonic Team insists that the game is looking excellent & will not be delayed, get ready for yet another awful disappointing Sonic game ladies & gentlemen.
Overall a great Direct. 8 outta 10 in my opinion.
PS: I know you're not that hyped about Xenoblade 3 Wood primarily because you were so underwhelmed by Xenoblade 2 but don't forget Wood that you did absolutely love Xenoblade 1 a whole lot so maybe just maybe Xenoblade 3 will have a bit of that Xenoblade 1 magic & charm.
Lastly, any hope of a TMNT: Shredder's Revenge review? The name of the channel is of course Beat'EmUp after all so you gotta talk about what is undoubtedly one of the best & most fun games to arrive this year.
I was watching live with you, And I got excited about the new Monkey Island game, I was hyped to see not only P5 FINALLY coming to switch but also P3 and P4, the new Monster Hunter Rise has got me REALLY stoked, and I FREAKED OUT when they announced a new Dragon Quest game. To me the DRAGON QUEST announcement blew it out of the water. I LOVE the main line Dragon Quest games, I absolutely ADORE both Dragon Quest Builders games and so I'll take ANY reason to get back into the Dragon Quest world. And the new Dragon Quest treasures looks AMAZING. And we've still got Dragon Quest Flames of Fate to look forward to AND the Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D remake as well. So I'm as happy as a kid in a Dragon Quest candy store. 😁
Finally I can play Persona 3! I've been intrigued about P4Golden for years since I own P4. As for Monkey Island, I'm pleasingly surprised about the new game. Haven't really been myself playing it but loved to watch back in a day as brother played at grandparents place The Secret of Monkey Island.
as someone who played p4 and p3 both on the psp and pc but not p5 cuz i only have a switch, this direct actually makes me so happy...as like you ive been waiting and to see that im finally be able to experience p5 just makes me so damn happy today :)
I saw the take heart thing and didn’t let my hopes about persona 5 (and not just another spin off) go up until they said it themselves lol. I really hope it plays well on switch cause I’ve wanted to play it for ages but I don’t own a PlayStation lol
If strikers ran well (coz they might use the same engine or it is the persona 5 engine on strikers) then persona 5 will too.

Tbh I was really not expecting persona 5 to come natively on switch. I thought they was gonna do a cloud version and probably release 3 and 4 natively. Guess I was wrong 🤣 super stoked to be actually playing all 3. Also super excited for Megaman battle network port. Cybeast gregar got me through my grandmother's funeral when she died when I was little so I'm super excited for every single battle network game coming to switch.
why tf would they do a cloud version. The game is not hard to run at all. It runs on the PS3. The only reason Square didn't do it for KH is because they didn't wanna spend the money to port it natively. So cloud was cheaper. But Atlus is not square. P5 Strikers although a different engine looks very similar graphically and runs fine.
@@toadstein well to be completely honest my expectations was really really low. I was only expecting 3 and 4 getting a physical version because those 2 was already easy to port on a cartridge. Never really thought about the strikers thing now that you mention it. It should've made sense if strikers ran smoothly then so will persona 5

Especially getting excited after it was already shown for xbox, then pc, then ps4 and ps5 like what else was left. I played PAC Man world as a kid and it was actually a great 3D platformer. As for megaman battle network…it’s about damn time. Amazing series.

i never got to play persona 3 , cant wait. i agree with you on persona4.. played 5 first , loved it. and then when 4 rolled around, felt like a step backward cuz of graphics etc but by the time i completed the game, whew. maybe the fact that it takes place in a smol rural town, hit different
