Still good to see another Bolt Action game albeit one sided. Once the Germans had decided to take an artillery observer I predicted a roll of one before the game. Tigers and 88’s are too expensive. Smaller tanks may have been better.

Great game, a tough one really. Losing those tanks was clutch. The dice rolling did hurt the DAK. Got to hand it to the British. Also its hard to figure out what to film in large games. You could film it all from an overhead angle at the same time as the POV shots to catch those things you miss.
As always an enjoyable watch, but you need to be less cavalier with your tanks. The tiger could and should have bossed the game from the back of the table.

@31 mins in, you said the DAK troops wouldn't get a cover save because they'd run - that's not a thing in normal BA: I think they ought really to have had a cover save.
Too many points in one shot wonders. The more infantry the better. The points aren't really the issue. Try a 575 point game with no tanks and smaller battle space. Imo this is a sweet spot for fun.

If the mortar spotter gets a pin it doesn’t effect the mortar. It will only effect the spotter if he wants to move. Now that was a big game!

I know you are right and is tactically sound but it just does not feel right leaving the Tiger on the back of the board. I will try it next time 😉

Tbh, I think I had lost the plot by then. Looking back at the vid you might be right there but by that point I could see the writing on the wall
Also, @37 mins, after Lt Gruber's Little Tank was assaulted, did the assaulting unit roll their d6 'consolidation' move?

We have done a smaller game with no vehicles and it all but came down to the last dice roll
