Unpopulair opinion: Its not a track they will say. It is a one way public toll road with kerbstones. In the past some very big incidents have happened when they decided to do maintenance in a corner. Police report will just state "speeding" and thats it.

Another reminder to keep your eyes up through the whole corner. At 1:09 you can see the car through the corner, but you were still on throttle for almost 2 seconds. Good save to avoid him..
It takes time to process a stading still car on track, especially if u dont expect it. I think many drivers wont be able to anticipate faster than this driver.
While yellows should have been out. I was also of the same mind as to where the driver was looking. The A-Pillar may have blocked the view for a moment. But only a moment. Both ends of the video need to review their actions.
Right hand drive car so driver had slightly less time to notice than the dashcam point of view or a left hand drive car would have in that circumstance. Driver was slightly delayed reacting but with so much to take in with a situation like that it happens.

So it is a privat road that is open to the public by paying a fee and now you can argue from there that this privat road has the character of a race track and driving faster than you could stop in the distance that you can see is a reasonable and expected thing to do on a racetrack. Thereby warranting the operator of said track to take precautions whatever they might be

It is considered a toll road for tourist driving, hence all regular road rules apply; e.g. overtaking only on left, having a road legal car, etc. Yellows are also not exceptionally common, since there's not enough personel to man all the posts, so you as the driver must drive safe enough. The marshal car setting up camp there is a whole different matter, that is just a terrible place.

And with participating in Touristenfahrten you agree to this terms of use. In all fairness, it's not the best spot to place a car without a pre-warning but that doesn't free the participants from being attentive.

He has hazard lights on and a yellow vest. If you saw him too late, maybe you are going to fast for this street section. And normal people dont overtake in a blond corner, you never know whats behind.
The whole setup is an amateur hour, waiting for the biggest accident ever. How long before they get truly serious and run these events as proper track days, with some licence requirements.

Awesome response, but that is not acceptable, on any track. I've been on tracks 30+ years now, and never seen a worker to that.

I agree but thats the camera pov. The driver may be sat further back, lower down with obstructions like the pillars.
