Completely agree. One of the most awesome channels when it comes to pov racing entertainment. It feels like your driving it with another Monitor in the car watching the race
I mean F1 have done helmet cam, although not at the highest quality you could get out of a GoPro for example, but, seeing the view out of the visor like how the driver would is pretty cool
If more motorsports broadcasts were presented like this, they would be so much more popular! Great racing!

Maybe if they actually fixed the shit racing that has never been good ever in F1, it would be as popular as basketball or something. Even Indycar has had good close racing since the 90s. The FIA keep lying to everyone by saying "this regulation change will fix racing". All bullshit

Those two drivers cutting the track and not giving back the positions is crazy.
Did they get a penalty ?
Very young drivers for the most part, aren't they? Very little respect for the rules. Top of raidillon and Blanchimont are commonly 4 wheels outside the track. Every time I go to Spa it's the same thing.

As an American, and a huge motor sports fan. I must say, though I acknowledge that NASCAR is actually pretty difficult contrary to popular belief, this kind of circuit track racing is just so much more exciting to watch, especially in the rain, going to 200+ kilometers an hour, absolutely spectacular, not to mention the skill involved, awesome just awesome.

So cool to see the race from this perspective. Really lets you see things that don't come through very well from track-cams, namely the amount of 4-wheel sliding going on in these conditions. Really really cool to see.

This is almost more entertaining than watching a race normally. Having the broadcast there, but getting to primarily follow the race from within a single car is really compelling.

Just stumbled upon your channel and i must say that im flabbergasted, as someone who loves sim racing and looks forward to one day maybe race stock cars im completely in love with these pov’s, its so intriguing to see how similar it is to race in spa on GT7 and to race in spa in real life. While watching these i use my phone as a steering wheel with gears and everything, my feet as pedals and try to mimick the driver lol. Keep up the good work! Tarde pov’s are such awesome content for motorsport lovers!

i've been making similar comments on the official channels. they almost entirely remove the sensations and perspective of the drivers - which is the perspective MOST viewers are interested in! (but they have bills to pay so they prefer the long camera shots that show all the billboards)

Thanks! I play mainly iRacing for competitive online racing and rFactor 2 for practicing new tracks with the Porsche Cup
This is the best on board I've watched. I really don't like on boards for several reasons but this is different.... Very clear onboard camera, alot of vibration and shaking but it doesn't feel overkill, the track cam at the bottom left isn't intrusive to the main pov.. The commentary is in the bg and u can hear it but it ain't mixing with the pov sound to the point where it sounds like a mess. Even had a lap or 2 where the commentary was muted to listen to just the engine. The text in the bottom is easy to see and informative, especially if u don't know much about driving in the wet... Idk why im simping this video so much but it just felt really good 👌

Very cool! So much understeer on entry, but I guess that might be the safer bet in these conditions. Radllion requires pretty big balls in these conditions :P I can see that track limits are a bit of an issue there with the amount of time you can gain on the following straight. Also very cool to see the different lines and braking points in T1. Goed bezig Dirk! Supergave beelden!

28 minutes of seeing what it's like being overtaken by everyone.
This video really shows how difficult racing really is, and makes me really wonder how someone like max verstappen would compete/do things differently in these races!

I fully enjoyed your race, Dirk! Racing night in front of my TV, between Alberto Naska on the Euro Nascar 2 at Valencia (Race 2) and Dirk Schouten on the Porsche Cup at Spa (Race 2) 😍 Too bad you had some problems, expecially in the exit of the corners and on the straights, where it seemed you were loosing ground. Bad setup in such mixed wet conditions?
