And to think i found people crazy by swapping 2jz's in AE86's, and yet here i am witnessing a AE86 with a Lamborghini V10 swap being an absolute menace 😂
tbh 2JZs easily make a thousand horsepower as well, and seeing how the V10 would use a twin-turbo setup with less boost it should result in a more usable (so a little less crazy) car.
@@argh1989 Turbo lag on the 2J would be crazy wouldnt it? I heared turbo tech has gotten better but for a light chassis as an ae86 i think it would be noticable

@@JuiceyBeverageturning on a brand new engine technically hurts the engine. performance isn't for longevity. if you're worried about longevity, performance isn't for you. its also based on the tuner. As an example, nitrous is great for mitigating lag since nitrous doesn't blow up engines, but people do. I knew a guy that had a mk4 supra. It didnt build boost until 4th gear. but with proper tuning and nitrous. it would light up the wheel (open diff) down the whole 1/8th mile from the get go. That mfker was unstoppable with its one wheel 1/8th mile peel. Sounded stupid beautiful as well. It's known as "The Captain"

Who cares? That straightaway speed eliminated the need for an agile car. He's hitting 220. It's a very simple strategy. Get on a straight and eat people.

That last race made the AE86 look painful to drive. Trying to drift sends your tire wear into the red.
From driving this car myself, trust u me he wasnt trying to drift 😂 just the ramp of power to the wheels PLUS if u dont know about daytona, its bumpy and steep hence the start of the race 😂
That start looked like trying to put an angry beast back into its cage

I can’t help to think how terrifyingly fantastic it would be to drive this IRL. Motor trying to break its way into the cabin and kill you noise wise, ripping the tires free at 130+mph, sliding around sideways at nearly 200mph, absolute sleeper

Getting shoved hard in the back... other guy gets 0.5 penalty.... just cut the corner a tad because of power oversteer: 1.2 sec penalty.. this penalty system is a joke!
I was always hating on the penalty system in gt7, then along came FM and made gt look like utopia
This is ridiculous, for instance when someone punts you off track and you get a multiple second penalty for track violations and then multiple seconds for avoidable contact

Yea with that much power you gonna be in 3-4 gear just at cruising speeds. 1st and 2nd are basically useless with 1000hp
I laughed the whole time seeing grandma driving an AE86 trying to deliver tofu with peace with 1000 hp little Panda Trueno, while the car itself fighting with its spinning wheels, ABS, finding tire traction, trying to minimize the slide the whole time. That grandma deserve a big paid.

This reminds me of the day I found a way to mess with my aerodynamics and gear ratios on Forza 2, and brought a Bentley Continental to a lobby full of Enzo Ferrari's, couldn't turn worth anything but it smoked the lobby.
Imagine: Buy a 300k car and get overtaked by rabious hachitofu slidways +200mph. Hilarious.

I used to love taking speed tunes into Class A cat and mouse servers back in FM4.
Nobody was ready for the stickerbombed Mercedes junk sedan to scream past them on the ring.
But lol trying to get that power to the ground in anything less than 5th gear was an exercise in delicacy.
