Letting Lupita embrace her Mexican heritage by speaking Spanish in this movie was so cool TBH
Little bit of trivia. The actor playing the shaman of Talokan is Josué Maychi. He’s Maya and he taught the cast how to speak Yucatec Mayan.
The silent tributes to Chadwick at the start and end hit me every time
This movie means so much to me on a personal level. I'm yucatec mayan descent and it was so wild and emotional seeing snippets of my culture and hearing them speak maya on the big screen. I cannot wait to revisit wakanda and talokan again.
Y'all had me when you said Namor was just waiting there like " I'm about to spook these bitches"😂😂😂
Still one of my FAVORITE MCU endings of all time. Just seeing Shuri finally breathe after seeing her nephew always hits and taking the first steps into moving on and seeing how she smiles with the boy. Obviously in an ideal world I would have wanted many many movies with Chadwick but I cannot believe what they were able to do in this film to honour him and continue a story. The fact that introducing Prince T’challa, means we WILL get those T’challa stories but just in a different form is awesome
"Small, small girl" is now my top favourite mcu movie line & delivery.
Okoye and M’Baku deserve their own series after this movie. And when the Queen Mother made that speech, I was floored. She was out here protecting Wakanda and its resources.
My mother died from similarly to Chadwick Boseman from complications from cancer a few years ago, and like Chadwick she kept the fact that she knew she was dying from us until a couple days before she died. So it was very hard to watch this movie, not just because of my mother, but because Chadwick Boseman and the character of T’Challa are my heroes.
Black Panther Wakanda Forever is even better after the second viewing. I truly love this movie so much.
Well, didn’t expect this, but it’s a welcome surprise.
hearing the siren’s song in the cinema was a different experience i fucking loved it
I am a Latino who has studied Meso American history, to see Namor deal with the Spanish Colonizers, especially the priest, was so satisfying. Namor is pragmatic and I hope Shuri can teach him to trust. Also: the French once used Special Forces to sink an unarmed Green Peace vessel. Of course the French would try something. I love the "receipts" she brought to the UN.
Namor looks SOOOOOOOO good ... especially in the scene he got his name and telling it to shuri. 😍😍😍😍😍😍
I just happen to live in Chadwick’s hometown of Anderson, South Carolina. this man has done soo much for the local communities & kids down here. Wakanda Forever, My King 🤴🏿🙅🏼♂️🍻
Thank you guys for reacting to Wakanda Forever! I know it was somewhat divisive, however, what Ryan Coogler was able to accomplish without his lead star is beyond exceptional! I’m so happy this film was able to come to fruition. ❤
Ryan Coogler has an Oscar of some kind writing / directing in his future definitely
Just finished watching it again with my dad, and yea it still got me. Looked over at him and he had tears in his eyes at the end.
