2000-2007 Ford Focus 2.0 Alternator Replacement Pt 1

Hello everyone! Today we're replacing the alternator on a 2003 Ford focus. The alternator is no longer working so it's time to install another one, I do recommend using a new one if possible however i do know they can be a bit more expensive than a rebuilt one. There's a piece on the intake that can be cut off make it easier to come out

@@mechdjango3490 apologies i was at work and figured it out myself faster than your video could play. More helpful would be explaining the most non intuitive part of the job upfront. (like in the first video) funny how a simple sentence like we will be removing a motor mount to gain clearance was all i needed.
