I am still planning to do this in the future. Although, I am not sure when. I may have to save it until the next major update now as I have spent a lot of time working on my own personal base with the NPCs being quite low on my priorities, haha!
Thank you. The community have already built amazing structures but like you said they are not really achievable for the average player. Unless they try to mimic a 2x speed build video piece by piece. I’m glad you like the build!
I like the sound of this. I will likely be experimenting with many other builds before I settle on my final base. I’ll make sure to upload videos of the different designs.
I was about to message you asking if you were gonna do Enshrouded! My buildings still look like @#$% but at least I can fantasize having one as good as yours. Thanks phinquies!!
A big coincidence! Hopefully, you can pick up a few minor tips from this video. I will likely be uploading more advanced buildings as I progress through the game!
The walls require clay which can be found fairly early in the game in the rainforest biome. The rest of the furniture can be crafted by the carpenter once you rescue him. You can build the base with wood to start with and update it as you progress through the game!
Good question. It does adjust the pattern on the roof, even in this video. However, it could be due to the materials you are using. If you are having difficulty, try it with snapping turned off. Hope this helps!
It goes up with each comfort item. If you look at each item in the "comfort" section on the carpenter, you will see that each item has a designated comfort level. For example, a simple seat may be +1 comfort but a polished seat may be worth +2. Items within the same category do not stack but the categories are not entirely clear right now. Hope this helps!
@@phinqs I appreciate it. I like this build a lot. Very simple and cozy. I also love the grappling hook to the bedroom. I think I may steal that concept.
Good question. The grappling hook anchors become available to craft after you have built a smelter and crafted your first copper bars. I hope this helps!
No. But maybe in future updates.. If you want to build and too lazy to get the resources. You can use the hoe exploit (I've seen in other video). And to unlock the other blocks texture you have to search them.
I think the other comments have already explained the answer but no there is not a build only mode. However, materials are very accessible in this game. Hope this helps!
I think it is very misleading to describe the house as a starter home. You have undoubtedly created a beautiful house, but the range of materials as well as the furnishings and the craftsmen are only available as the game progresses. Sure, you can argue about when exactly the start ends and when the mid-game begins. Nevertheless, you have to have been playing for quite a while to be able to build the house while the blacksmith already asks for a roof over his head early in his questline.
I understand what you mean. However, I do explain at the start of the video that the building can be made with whatever materials you have access to. If you wanted this to be a very early base you would just build it using rough wood pieces and the furniture you have available. The reason that I included all the extras was to show that it is a suitable size to support you as you progress throughout the game.
I can understand why you think that but it can be built as soon as you start the game. You would just have to use different materials and update it as you progress. It is a really simple build and the materials required to build a house this size and shape can be acquired really quickly!
What do you want me to build next?
sidewall house on a cliff
@@MrAdrian2391 I like the sound of this. Do you mean hanging on the cliff face?
A building for each NPC would be awesome
Hobbit hovel for a mage. Love your videos my guy
@@cremingtons7197 Perfect! Thanks for letting me know.
Love this, it's not too basic and not too complicated. Thanks.
I'm really glad you liked it. There will definitely be more videos uploaded!
I think it would be cool to see your take on houses for the NPCs!
I am still planning to do this in the future. Although, I am not sure when. I may have to save it until the next major update now as I have spent a lot of time working on my own personal base with the NPCs being quite low on my priorities, haha!
Of all "how to build" RUclipsrs. Your content is the most simplest (more realistic house), and much better on how you use snapping points

Started this game a week now and I already built a Mansion. Great game. First day was just a block and some wooden walls.
It is a great game! It would be interesting to see the mansion you have created. I think everyone starts with the simple wooden box, haha!
This looks amazing thank you for the tips my guy!
No problem! I’m glad you liked it. Thanks a lot for your comment.
looks really nice , i saw one guy rebuilt Breailyn Bridge on top of the shroud and use it like base :)

@@phinqs Dude my bases so far look like piles of mud.
cool house
Thank you!
where do you get those walls at the start of the game? and all that furniture. I think I've only got a table, bench, stool..and beds LOL

How do you use the stepped wall without it sticking out through the roof? Every time I place one it sticks out.
Good question. It does adjust the pattern on the roof, even in this video. However, it could be due to the materials you are using. If you are having difficulty, try it with snapping turned off. Hope this helps!
I made a village where every NPC has their own house and work space.
I like the sound of that. I’ll likely be doing something similar over the next few days!
How do you have such a high rested timer? I can only get 16 minutes

@@Yeesh- I like that style too. Simple, clean, and cosy. It is definitely the kind of thing I am used to building on other games too.
how to get grappling hook pull honkers?
Good question. The grappling hook anchors become available to craft after you have built a smelter and crafted your first copper bars. I hope this helps!
is this game has a only build mode like valheim ?
Not that I've seen but it's wildly cheap to build structures

This is less of a starter house and more of a mid-game house in the starter area.

I really want to play this game for the building mechanics but every time I try playing, I get really put off by how ugly the character model is.
Haha, just find the biggest helmet you can and never take it off!
