It's a bit of a grind for materials first, sure, but it is something you can build pretty much straight away. Everything you need can be found just around you 😁 Edit: Thanks for your kind words, by the way!
Great build! I really like that roof layering and the under house open area, I will definitely be using those ideas for my next builds now that I have seen it in action done well. Awesome stuff!
there's a lot of build options for a game this new. not used to that these days. great video, great music, and i imagine those were great tips, but i'll never know haha
Yes, there are a lot of interesting materials that you can get quite early on. And the tips - I doubt that they will be useful the moment they release the game fully - we'll see 😜 And thanks for your kind words!
Nice house! I can't get those1m roof tiles to work for me. They just come out looking like little bumps, never an angled piece. And nice roof design! I had TONS of trouble trying to build a dormer roof on my cottage. 😆
Imagination and design 10/10 handling of build mechanics about 4/10 lol 🤣 Snapping works based on what is placed as a grid, so if you place a snapped 4m tile that will be a snapping point grid, however if you free snap or use 2m you'll start to make new snap grids that don't match the 4m so it won't snap where you want it to, which is fine if you free hand everything but personally I like to figure out what I'm working with then fit everything to a grid I have in mind. Still very nice result. (Edit, you can also recreate grids by just overlapping a tile and building a 4m or 2m, costs no material but creates a grid to snap to.)
Thanks for your kind words! Handling of build mechanics are probably even down to -6/10, because I spent 8 hours to build that darn house lol - it shouldn't take that long. I had constant troubles with the grid being to rigid in the beginning and had to create new snaps all along, so yeah - most of it was built on free hand. The main issue for me was that I couldn't see what I was doing most of the time because of that, and had to freehand while guessing wildly where I was building stuff 😆
Incredible. Thank you for sharing this build. I'm looking forward to more. I will be honest, not a fan of the music. Not at all. Subscribed! Great job!
I enjoy building in Rust and other games, but in this particular game, it frustrates me immensely. The snapping mechanism is flawed, and the limited rotation to 90 degrees is infuriating. For instance, when placing structures near a road, achieving perfect symmetry is impossible due to the rigid grid alignment so if I want to build a tiny house close to the road you can't align it perfectly if your core ain't in a 90 degree angle with the road
I have never tried to build in Rust, but I enjoy building in Valheim where you aren't limited to the 90 degree rotation either - I see what you're saying 😅
Yeah, I'd like to be able to see things at first too. Keep in mind though that I'm not super familiar with this building mechanic yet - maybe you can make it easier than I did 😉
That's a STARTER base? Wow. Lovely!

What a wonderful job and thank you so very much for showing us all the steps to it too.
Oh, and thank you for your kind words! 🥰

Thanks! I have been playing in it for a while now, and the open area underneath has been very useful so far - happy building 😄
This was a great watch, hopfully you do more content for enshrouded
Oh, thanks for your kind words! Yes, I'm working on more content for Enshrouded as we speak, will be coming out next week ☺
I'd love to see a barn for all the animals you can tame :)
Oooh, great idea! I haven't looked into that update yet! 🤩
Wonderful build.. and thanks for the "ear worm" music 🎶 daa, da da da da daa daaa daaa... 🎶
Heheh, the music is stuck there now, right? Thanks for your nice words 😃
I enjoyed every minute of that build, I like your style...subscribed :)
Thanks for your kind words and for the sub 🥰

I'm starting my second playthought (basically first, didnt get very far on the first one), I will try to make this one. It looks so lovely!
Nice! I am also about to start a new playthrough soon, there are so many new things added with every update!
I made this house in my town, using it for the carpenter because it make such amazing use of wood.
Nice!
huehuehuehue, guess who got enshrouded....and more importantly, guess what the sneaky one is building!
Me at 06:06 "yes...precisely place that stone ther..." Song kicks in, me" Pa...paparapapa pa! :D"
Oh, you got it? How are you liking it so far?
Lovely, makes me wanna play n create again, cheers :) x
Thank you!
This looks great, but it is really difficult following you what you are building. For instance, I don't know how big the platform is
Aha, OK - maybe it's time for an updated starter base, I could bring that critique with me 😄
@@splashopain I would love that!
@@Jonaelize It's a deal!

Thanks! Yeah, those roof tiles are horrible to build with - it takes a lot of time to make everything fit together nicely 😆
Try start from corners wichout x activated then snap normal roof it snaps better roof to roof than roof to wall
@@TrickshootGames That is true, thanks for commenting!
@@splashopain sure im also builder today i drop some vid with light tricks
@@TrickshootGames Nice! I'll go have a look!

Man wish I could build like that. I suck at building in this game. lol
Aaw, thank you!

Hi, thanks for the kind words, and for your honesty 😆 Hope to see you around 😁

I hate building this way. I want to see how the item will look before I place it. This is a guessing game until you've tried everything.
