Not sure why people feel the need to post a negative comment. You did a great job with ideas. If people want to change it to suit their needs. They are free to do so. Putting down what you presented, just shows what type of person they really are. Thank you for the great ideas. May use them, may not. At least you presented it in a professional manner and was not full of crap commentary. Thank you again.
You're absolutely welcome! That is certainly the intention for people to use or not use these as is or for inspiration in their own design. Thank you for your wonderful insight!
Some really great tips there. I have recently purchased Enshrouded and have almost put 30 hours in now. My building skills are terrible and these tips will definitely help me thank you
Just elevated my game. I’ve been putting hours into making my place look decent , and this is going to help. I have a huge tower that does nothing for me and now I’m gonna tear down and start it over.
The build was really interesting I would really like to apply it to my own base, I have a question though, at 1:54 when you're making the railing using fancy stone blocks on the single wall block, I tried it but it doesn't turn up quite like what happens in the video. In the video it shows up looking textured and unique like having edges and designs on the middle but mine just shows up strictly as a cube.
It is two blocks high, so make sure it isn't just a single block. And of course make sure you are using the fancy stone block. Also, not sure if video settings will affect the textures but you may try adjusting that as well. Good luck :)
Very cool ideas, thank you! I will for sure take some inspiration from this. 🙏 We still cannot rotate building blocks in smaller increments as 90° right? Just furniture? Or do I miss something? Subbed for more building tipps. 😊
@@nozee77 That is a limitation of the voxel system :( But hopefully they'll add some more shapes that are angled or even curved which would alleviate having no rotation.
Use the trick to drop a brazier (or two) into the ground. Cover the ground back over so top half of brazier showing then cover top with blocks add a black cauldron and remove the blocks underneath cauldron for a nice pot over the fire.
You should have switched out the floor blocks in front of the stone fireplace. Wood was not a good fit directly up to it. You can even see with the brick fireplace that it has a prebuilt stone lip to catch embers. Weather stone blocks also have some nice designs if you leave some blocks missing in 1 block gaps near the floor. It auto fills a small pillar design and works in very small amounts in combination with other blocks.
hey you know i asked you some questions about what block to use for building a huge base in 7 days to die? if you wanna see, i finished my base now: I used ONE BILLION BLOCKS to make my STARD*CK base. It takes 4 hours to get inside it. 7 Days to Die
@@pseudoposse i used to play the game 6-8 hours a day in alpha 19. i get tired quickly now.. usually only do a few hours a day.. i could have built it quicker if i were younger... dunno why but nowadays being on the computer really tires me out
@@pseudoposse yeah im getting bored with the game ever since alpha 20 ive been getting tons of lag.. the only reason i play it is cos not many games will run on my 12 year old computer.. all my old games stopped working when i got windows 10.. and all new games wont work cos im already below minimum specs for fallout 4 and 7d2d
this looks extremely unnatural, your fireplaces are garbage, i could show you better ones that i figured out in 10 mins... you did have some good ideas but executed them poorly... loved building in the oven for example but you made it look so unnatural and wierd... why are your fireplaces like 5x bigger than a regular fireplace for a tiny fire (cuz the fireplaces in game are tiny fires)... so chaotic looking all of it.
I was going for a more fantasy, exaggerated kind of look for those which I knew would rub against some people's sensibilities. Thanks for filing your complaint ;)

Really like the railings and gardening tip. Love the fine touches in editing accentuating the thing you showcase. Very well done!

@@pseudoposse You were right, it was my video setting causing it to look untextured. Thanks!
yes please teach us how to make good roofs!! 😅
Any tip to making hidden floor/doors that blend better than what's currently available? Love to see it from you
That's a good thought, I'll have to experiment!
I did this by using the secret book case, but used it like a built-in bookshelves with other shelves around it. Would post a pic if I could here :p
Very cool ideas, thank you!

Welcome aboard and no problem! Glad to be of some inspiration :)
That is correct, you cannot rotate the blocks, only furniture can be rotated.
@@pseudoposse Such a pity! 😭

@@pseudoposse Oh ok, I was afraid this was due to the voxel system. That means no hope in that regard. 😅
Yes, maybe something to make up for that.

isn't decorating in enshrouded always diy? hahahahaha
I mean if you only plop down pre crafted furniture, decorations, etc. from crafts people, that isn't DIY ;)
