We have homes in several of these. Our fun is in fixing up each place to its highest comfort for good rest bonus. One of the largest criteria for where is that there is lots of surrounding materials that can lie just outside our property. One we are currently working on is a bit NE of the first pumpkin farm you showed and north of the red marble mine. We have decided to only have farm animal at one site and dogs and cats at the others so the collection of goodies is limited to one place and feed routes are less onerous. We love this game. I am an oldie and find the Hollow Halls the hardest and when there are the hanging clamps (several in a row) I am wasting our resources by dying each try. Because of the we will be building a trial course for me with 4-5 hanging hooks for me to negotiate without missing before I try one of those again. Our team has completed lots more than I have managed to complete. Last night I was carrying the artifacts and items we wanted for the Collector as well as the cyclops heads and body parts. The quest was completed but not much came out to take home. Most was waiting in a pillar we couldn't get back to.
Wow that sounds absolutely amazing! It is certainly very nice to have good resources just outside of the perimeter. A lot of times I will have my portals set up in particular places high up, so I can glide straight to the resource nodes I need. Hollowed halls are certainly challenging, I remember doing them with a party of 4-5 and the scaling made it incredibly difficult. Especially the one in the kindlewastes. They certainly know how to make a dungeon though, I will say that! Plenty of puzzles, great in length and I see for the next update we might get another one in albaneve!
Its always nice to see so many locations for building. We can just prey that these locations are not going to be overwritten by new structures in future updates....
I took over the obsidian forge, and took over the cave passage and bridge above it, and the alba gateway below it. It's become a fortress stronghold with lots of rebuilding and new building.
I don't typically take over pre-existing spots, but I do like the idea. I have some good places in mind, once I'm done (if I ever am) with my current insane project. So thank you for some good ideas! My big build right now is waaaaaay up on the cliffs between the Revelwood and Blackmire. I had to pickaxe my way up and glide, but I found a great spot looking down on Glennwood's End. Trying to finish editing my current guide vid and then do a short tour vid for my channel. I've already spent probably 60+ hours on my new castle and I'm not even close to moving all of my current base over! Thanx again for the ideas and content!
I always set up a shop in blue goblet. Working on a place at #12 location now. That really is very cool section of the map with some spectacular sunsets. Also another really great place is the top of mistberry catacombs. You'll want to fill in all the holes in the roof, but you can make a pretty extensive estate up there all encased in in a ring of mountains. And the grate over the tomb of the queen makes for a cool feature. Built my first end game estate there.
Some lovely spots to choose from for sure! Just wanted to note though, in spot 17, you unfortunately cannot put a flame altar up there. That entire plateau says "Cannot build here". I wanted to put a elevated lakeside build up there and just discovered that myself ;_;
@@KiahOnFireOfficial Yeah sadly ;-; It's a beautiful area and I had the same idea to build a lovely winter village but no go. I went up there a few hours ago to double check it was still like that and yeah, still a no build area, sorry Kiah =(
I really like Fort Kelvin, made of City Wall Block, a nice tower and even a sewage underground. And for lore reasons i like it too, it was a shelter in the war. And with only level 9 enemys you can get it early.
Above the first Hallow Halls thee is snow on that mountain and you do not need cold resistance so it works early game. Bottom left side of the map. Unfortunately for me I discovered it late. You can get there very easily without double jump or the high level gliders.
I was checking out 17 a couple days ago but it turns out that whole ice area is a no building zone, the terrace down below on the western side is good tho!
Enshrouded is still in early release. The crew working on it seems dedicated and have a great lead, from what we see. Full map and possible expansions, don't appear to far of a reach for them. End game, might not happen for years to come.@@robertartigue5541

Number 17 is not a place you can build at...at least for me. It wont let me put an alter and says you cannot build here...real bummer cause that place is amazing....
I just wonder who ever could that person be running about in the cold in only their underthings.............maybe a name that starts with the letter R....

im tryna build a city in the giant tree branches up north east and its a looooong process but the building in this game is so good!

My favorite spot is the open space west of Fort Kelvin, I think. That's in the Springlands I think. Big empty space, really neat.
Sometimes i think about crafting up bases all across the map but then itd take me forever to finish with how many alters you get... maybe one day. 😂

NoooooOooo I had it working earlier on in the release because I had a flame altar up there to travel about. Must of changed!

So, is there a thresh hold for the frost bite effect? I have a lot of the items that say frost resist in my home, but I still have the counter

How in the hell do you live in the cold? Flame alter, fire place, torches seem to not get rid of the freeze timer :(
You need a flame level 8 to build and live in cold areas. Kill the dragon and upgrade your flame.
