2:19 respect the editing of not taking out the fart if that's what it was :)
Lol.
🤮 The smell
Hahahahahaahahqhqhqhq😂
You have a good ear man
Lmao
I think safety plays a big factor in this. Wagons, are less likely to roll over than suvs in emergencies when one may need to dodge an object quickly.
4:06 Why would SUV make more sense with family buyers, especially with small children?
Do they need to be bounced around while driving?
Do they need the extra headroom?
Do they need extra 40L of boot space for toys?
Do they feel superior driving a higher, less agile vehicle?
Do they need to be able to climb into vehicle rather than sit in it?
The only way this makes sense, maybe installing the child seat is a little easier, that's all.
Xypleth if the answers to most of your questions are yes then you need a VAN
@@franbeinstein with a SUV... that ticks the VAN factor
I got car sick in my families 100 series Landcruiser. My mums Gold TDI hatchback was much nicer ❤
💙 station wagon
Once got an suv, now back to station wagon. Wagons are SO much better 💙
why?
It is dope to sit up high and they look more prestigious though
@@snois2 Nah, suvs look lame and are for insecure small angry women only.
@@snois2 it’s dope to sit as low as possible
@@snois2 All SUVs look like trash. Wagons handle better because of the lower center of gravity.
One factor you dind't mention is tire costs. SUV tires tend to cost much more than wagons tires.
how often are tyres needed to be replaced?
@@maxshyt 4 tires per year gets really expensive.
@@jimj2683 per year? How many miles are you doing?
I have a GLK. The tires are not expensive.
@@marvinidler2289 the tyres are larger for SUVs compared to station wagons, so they will normally be more expensive.
SUVs are a pain. You can't see around the damn things.. Should be phased out with higher taxes..
Fuck no!
STATION WAGON MASTER RACE!!!
🙋🏾♂️
I would never go for a merc but comparison is well put, I would take on sedans and wagons anytime, don't forget e series is better for back seat and pricing is better than suvs
If you are having problem in deciding what to get wagon or suv, just get a Subaru outback is 2 in 1
Exactly 💯
And if you think that you need something nicer than the outback, get the E450 All terrain wagon.
the last car i daily is a VW Tiguan given by my family, now that I have kids I just got myself a brand new E Estate 2 months ago. I have to say even tho E Class is a wonderful car to daily and take the fam around, I do miss the elevated seating position and the convenience of taking my kids in and out of the seats.
Great comparison, was looking especially for the height between the seat and the roof comparison! This cleared my question in that regard. Keep up the good work!
"even though it misses out on the wet weather grip of 4wd" ?? The SUV is much heavier and so in the wet it will have more weight to both stop it cornering so well and also to not stop as well in the wet. So it probably will be less safe in the wet.
Car journalists are notoriously dimwitted.
Yeah the suv might launch a bit better in the wet but the wagon will handle and perform better in every other way
I loves wagons but I’ve hesitating because I wanted to go a bit of light off-road such as unpaved road to camping with my car, most wagon has lower ground clearance which might be easy to get damaged
Get an golf all track
SUV's are the toilet paper of the car industry. Everyone just has to go out and buy one. They don't know why, they just don't want to miss out and be the odd one out. Unfortunately, Whichcar like most car reviewers nowadays are now TOLD what to say, they will never tell you that a particular car is absolute garbage. Nor will they tell you that SUV's have been and always will be inferior in almost every way to regular cars. If they told the truth, no car manufacturer would allow them to review their products that are overly inflated for the idiot Australian trend follower. Current SUV owners on the other hand will always come back with a typical nonsense response like...."There great, I love mine", or " they are safer in a crash because they weigh more". Now, both of these are typical head-in-the-sand lunacy, 1) because personal opinion is subjective and 2) How can someone predict what type of car accident they will be in and what other vehicle they will crash into? See me, I would rather have the advantage of avoiding the collision to begin with but hey, I didn't start sanitising my hands in 2020 when it all of a sudden become the thing to do. Hygiene is something that should be common practice in our lives, and not something that is in vogue, kind of like safety and bang for buck. But hey, if you like getting ripped off, having poor fuel economy, greater chance of roll over, longer stopping distance, inferior handling and a myriad of other things that I have forgot to mention, have at it!
Hundreds of KG heavier... makes huge difference, around 300 kg more weight, like 2 big rugby players in back
What s more comfortable? Estate or suv?
estate, suvs give motion sickness
suv= overpriced + less rear leg room(generally)
hi , anyone who has experience can help? i am driving wagon and considering to buy SUV but i have back pain , do you think SUV because of high gravity center will cause more back pain or it is ok? any advise? thanks
Any answers?
@@warriorharj79 why dont you test drive one
@@ricolam4916 no
Wagons are so much better and longer.
Suvs are just glorified hatchbacks.
One is just more expensive harder to use and worse on fuel.
Plus a wagon is beautiful
Wagon with topload
Wagoongang
Wagon is better of all time
They DONT make sense for families. They just don’t. Children are expensive. The last you want to do it waste money on an suv which is dearer both to purchase and run. SUVs make you more passive and less alert as a driver too. I myself ran into an suv who turned across me at an intersection because the weren’t looking.
They also pollute a hell of a lot more.
They are the stupidest vehicle in the world.
Porsche Panamera Turbo or Porsche Cayenne Turbo?
neither cause those are 2 of the most idiotic cars porsche has ever made
@Ethan Pae why
@Joseph Pae how am I wrong?
SUV for the win. But I wouldn’t mind owning a wagon, but I’ll only use it for drift. ;)
Wagons all the way
SUV sucks
Wagons
SUVs are way superior. You can see everything on the road. I am loving it.
Zicu-97 Sure.....driving an SUV amongst a sea of others SUVs on the road, you can totally see everything on the road 👎. SUV driving dynamics are shitty compared to wagons, they are less fuel efficient, wear through tires quicker, go through suspension components more frequently because of the ride height, take more road space, and they don’t offer any more passenger comfort or boot space.
If the wagon and the SUV of this review meet on the road...bye bye SUV
Love being the village idiot that wears a top hat to a cinema blocking the view of everyone behind? Only that it’s on a road where safety is an issue but yeah your totally cool it’s a detriment to the safety of everyone else, as long as you’re a knob in a dopey lumbering suv that can catch a glimpse over proper cars.
Take that rubbish karenmobile to the wreckers where it belongs
Can you see stuff better when they are right in front of the car though or have good visibility when parking?
@@justynawisniewska1213 real drivers don't have this problem, they overcome those "issues"
Two of the most unreliable cars in one video. And from the same manufacturer. Got to admire Mercedes for consistancy at least. The best or nothing.. All I see is a nothing wagon and a nothing SUV.
I'm sure you can't afford either LOL
unreliable? in germany you see 300,000 km old diesel mercedes almost everyday, only american mercedes’ are unreliable
@@aimxdy8680 my dad's petrol Volvo 240 had more than 500000km on it. Still drivable when he retired it. You can have high mileage on any brand. It the service/repair bill that's significantly different. Mercedes is expensive to repair.
@@pomvoratarach5588 your trying to be funny.. that failed. You can keep your German shitbox to yourself. Not interested. The only Mercedes I like is the unimog.
