    I told my friends/co-workers that "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies" by Panic At the Disco is one of the best white boy songs I've ever heard. Now they're sending me song suggestions and I'm doing live reactions here.

    Oh man I respect the honesty. That’s where the comedy is presented without trying. It’s a real reaction & not something rehearsed. With that being said “Break Stuff” should have been the introduction song for you to this band. That would have given a better impression of who LB really are.

    The thing about Limp Bizkit is what you expect when you hear it. It is made to be dumb and fun, and that's what they give. If you try to find a deep meaning you probably will get disappointed, but if you just forget about it and embrace the goofy, it is really good. Their last album after a long hiatus is named "Limp Bizkit Still Sucks" so they know what they're doing and they know people will dislike it.

    • @HollywoodRobTV
      @HollywoodRobTV  Год назад +60

      That’s actually really cool that they named their album that. There are rappers that I listen to who aren’t “good,” but they’re good. So I get wym

    • @Brenooomaniezo
      @Brenooomaniezo Год назад +11

      @@HollywoodRobTV I don't know how much you know about the band, if you're starting to listening now expecting something more serious, with deep lyrics like RATM, you will get really disappointed. But once you start to understand that they don't take it too serious and just want to make fun music, you can like it more if it is your thing. Songs like Break Stuff, Nookie and Faith are the best examples, the lyrics are edgy and goofy, but it is made to people have fun. Even Fred Durst is like a persona on stage, acting like a douchebag earlier on their career. For the last album he changed it to some like goofy dad. They know who they are and what they want to do, and they just do it even though people will hate. That's pretty awesome IMO.

    • @BigTek9

    One of their newest songs, "Dad Vibes" is pretty funny. The lyrics are still basic but they're better. You can tell they learned a little in the 20+ years since this song. Also, "Rollin' (Urban Assault Vehicle)" is an all rap version of the Undertaker's song featuring a bunch of old school rappers. And the song "N 2 Gether Now" features Method Man. And finally, Ready to Go features Lil Wayne. They also had Eminem and other rappers do cameos in their old music videos. So even though their lyrics suck, they were still respected by some of the top rappers.

    When those dudes are sitting in their studio not even bothered to remember that there are 6x platinum discs hanging on their wall😂😂😂😂😂😂
    Not to mention every damn time they get paid for the royalties to the mission impossible track they were invited to create, got paper for and you're critiquing.... 24k times on your tube alone🤦‍♂️😂😂😂
    You're a critic, go pull out any other track they created and enjoy what makes this band still valid today. Being a music artist is always an evolution and these guys are still mutating. Just been to their gig in gunnersbury park.. I'm a dad same age as Durst, I was surrounded by 30,000 people, half my age and less on Sunday, (that's a minute fraction of of the numbers they were not afraid to play to with any lyrics, twenty years ago) who knew every single lyric and bounced to their energy even harder than twenty years ago. If back then, you went blow for blow with any artist from right now, Limp Bizkit would have crushed them bad lyrics or not.
    Limp Bizkit is not the mission impossible theme track lyrics! It's the synergy of the whole!!!

    Fred was def better at his screams than his rap but even with that said he did his job as a hype man than the screams were the cherry on top. Still love this band and what they did. Still no one replicates limp bizkit. Falling in reverse comes close but a different vibe.

    Woooo I had to comment for this one. AS SOON as I saw the song choice I knew this shit was about to be HILARIOUS! Look, I loved Limp Bizkit when I was 13 in the 90s, and I still have plenty of nostalgic love for 3 Dollar Bill Yall and some of Significant Other, but cmon yall, you know daaaaaaamn weeeelllllll what Limp Bizkit is and what it is not. What in the good god almighty gave anyone the idea that a 2023 primarily hip-hop ear was gonna resonate with this goofy, cringey, ABC rap from 20yrs ago? LMAO I had to give this video a like cause that honest reaction had me laughin my ass off

    Your analogy of this being a band in a disney movie is bang on, this was actually written as the soundtrack to one of the early mission impossible franchise so had to appeal to a wide audience, hence the lack of fidelity to their genre and roots.

    basic is actually a perfect way to describe them. I won't lie though, I LOVED them back in the day, got wasted rocking them at so many parties. I don't think this is their best song, but even their best isn't 'fire'

    Bro... I laughed so hard when i saw the title for this video!😂 Limp biscuit is kinda like a rockrap version of vanilla ice. I primarily listen to metal but came up in the 80s and 90s so old school rap is also some of my favorite music. All that is to say that limp biscuit is twice as offensive to rap and to rock because it dishonors both. Love this listen to white boy stuff though, keep it up! Oh try spit it out by slipknot. You wont be disappointed.

    Its so funny to me, most people that dislike Limp Bizkit they complain about the singer and his Lyrics, I never really pay attention to lyrics at all. I really like this band for the riffs and the beats. The guitar is super sick to me in this song.

    Fred Durst isn't really known for his lyrical ability Rob, his delivery is simple, direct, more old school, and this is an old song from 2000. When it comes to Limp Bizkit it's really about the theme/message, and the sound that creates a certain vibe.

    Limp Bizkit is the Nickleback of metal. They get clowned and hated on a lot but the they come to town they pack the house. I’ve seen ‘‘em live and one of the best shows I’ve seen. They’re straight fire live. They know how to hype a crowd

    This is one of the reason why I subscribed to your channel. You cut the bullshit, you say how it is, and how you put your words together to described your feeling or your perspectives is (Chef's kiss👌). Nu metal is great but Limp Bizkit is kinda low tier band in that categorize.
