Thanks for the video. I am working outside, lots of mosquitos. Broke the top bolt off while removing the old starter. Yay, I win. Do you sell genies in a bottle?
I am amazed that you did not clean the ground clamp to the battery and wire wheel the terminal ends, did not use blue loctite on the mounting bolts, and did not fluid film after completion. 😢
I'm guessing that this truck is a 96 cause I think in 92 to 95 the starter solenoid is mounted on the passenger side fender. Cause they went to obd 2 in 1996 just a thought

I’m having trouble with ground wires. Where they’re supposed to go etc..

Did you have 2 grounds i seen you take the first ground off the solenoid and put it back on then i seen you put a ground on the mounting bolt.
Did you mirror this video because the starter in on the wrong side of the oil pan?

Bought a truck. Then the starter and catalytic was stolen. I don’t see my ground wire to the starter 😑
lol I was hoping you would catch the ground cable before you tried to start the truck. lol Wouldn't make a happy battery or starter.
Nope that’s the passenger sise
This is a horrible video he doesn't even tell what said or where the starter is located
