The C919, with a range of 4,075-5,555 kilometers and seating capacity of 158-192, has been praised for its advanced technologies, materials, and customized features. The aircraft aims to compete with global industry leaders Boeing and Airbus, and its safety and reliability have been prioritized through various measures and system protections. The delivery of the purchased C919 aircraft is scheduled from 2024 to 2031, with China Eastern Airlines being the first to receive them in batches.

The US did ban the engines for C919 by Rolls-Royce or GE until China developed its own at the last minute they relented. The Chinese engine developed as the result of the sanctions is being made commercially available soon. Therefore you shouldn't be surprised to see Chinese made engines on C919 or 929 soon.

The problem with such big headlines of ‘sale’ will caused jealousy & cause discomfort to the Western competitors. The West will then creat all sorts of obstacles for these planes to fly into International routes. Thus, please don’t brag too loudly.
Air worthiness defines whether or not it can fly international routes.
For 929, BRICS+ countries could be included as a group as aviation consortium and regulatory regime for further certification, safety inspection provider. This will bring BRICSplus into more industrialization as parts and supply chain of large airplane development, while COMAC must spinning out into public-private company in order to recieving wider-funding from interesting BRICS plus and taking global reach into greater Eurasia aviation services. With strong corporation in place, then more 939, 949, 959 will come sooner. Think must be big if not bigger!😊

That will never happen. BRICS includes Brasil (Embraer) and Russia (Irkut), along with India. Brasil's Embraer produces regional jets that are a little smaller than a 737 or 919, and will likely develop a 737-class jet in due time. Russia's Irkut produces the 737-class MC-21 (which is why they didn't partner on the C919), while Ilyushin makes small numbers of widebody long haul aircraft. Finally, there's India, who would contribute nothing except hot air, and only slow things down while increasing costs, trying to gain advantages for India.

I vividly remember seeing on TV from the early 2000s of a CBS news anchorman wearing a surprised bewildered expression, as he shared the news that China was embarking on the construction of its own passenger airplane. I was stunned to see the C919 development team were young people who looked like they were in their 20s or early 30s which, frankly, gave me a jolt of anxiety to try the plane myself.

In order to gain South American airlines market share, it should be proved in High altitude and hot ground temperature as the El Dorado Bogota, Colombian national main airport. We live here up to 8.500 feet above sea level and the enviroment temperature in sunny days goes up to 90 Farenheit degrees. Much better if the C 919 comes fitted with own chinese engine units. A real tough test, as Airbus did in 2007, but at Rionegro airport, near Medellin, but with the same testing enviroments.
China has plenty of good high altitude airports in Tibet, higher than anything in South America by far.
Go to your local hardware store and look where it's made. Even the sand l bought from Bunnings ' Australia ' is made in China.

It's a short haul aircraft mainly used by budget airlines. Have you even been on the world's largest airline Ryanair? It's a budget airline with no luxury like watching TV 😢.

Don't get too excited. Although C919 is designed in China, it still uses Western components for it's major parts (i.e. engine by Rolls Royce or GE). Any Western sanction can cripple China's domestic aviation industry. Only countries/regions with a "self sufficient" aviation industry is Russia, Europe and America. China currently has an "assembly" aircraft industry. In time (15 to 30 years) China be able to manufacture 100% indigenous commercial airplanes.

You probably can say that in your basement but GE ain't no dummy. GE knows China has been testing engine for C919 and C929 and it has shown in Aviation Expos. Not everything made in China is cheap, jet engine is one of those ain't cheap on the list.
It is a tactic to get registration of the C919 by western controlled air worthiness bodies so that the C919 can be allowed to fly to more countries.Once that is bypassed,they can tell these biased registration bodies to🖕

You make monumental mistake if you underestimate China's skill or resolve.
C919 uses LEAP engines. U.S. blocked China from using GE and Rolls Royce, and they were arguing over it for a long time. Delayed the project by about 10 years. China was forced to develop their own engine, and right when they were about to start using them in the C919, U.S. finally gave in and let them use LEAP. So China has their own engine ready and waiting if needed.
Please do not add those ugly designs, if it resembles the Dreamliner let it be.
