Since March 2023, my wife and I started to renovate our first home down south of France (Cannes). It has been our dream to have a 100% self-made wood dining table. Thanks to all the channels of woodworking and DIY, especially this one, I managed to pull it off. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
The first half of the ruclips.net/user/postUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.
The plywood template is genius!
I like the template method. You're smarter than you look.
Absolutely loved it...
Then you rounded over EVERYTHING!!!!!
Unreal! I could watch your builds all day long. One day I’ll get around to trying this out myself, until then please keep the videos coming!
Loving the simple elegant design, white oak perfect too!
Great example of how easy you have made it to construct the angled legs. I love the templet idea, it sure is easier than how I've worked it out in the past. But then again, using your method will probably keep me from throwing the whole mess out into the middle of the road in frustration. Well done.
It looks beautiful... thanks for the inspiration!
Love mid century style items. Keep it coming please. Appreciate your videos.
Really enjoy your channel. You show people that woodworking doesn't have to be complicated. This piece turned out great!
Beer helps
I love this table! I love the project! I love the Beer in this application! I really love the MATH or lack thereof! Your Humor though is spot on my friend.
Thanks for sharing, and teaching the non Math Class. Felix
Thank you, great video and it's great to learn some new techniques. Table looks great!
Really fantastic job! I love the way it turned out.
Great video, instructional and content. You're style and humor is second to none on here. THANKS for all of it!
Beer with the sanding - This is a good idea! Seriously - I think i'll implement it in my work flow.
Great video, I am really enjoying your woodworking advise and I agree on the sanding and beer combo!
Keep the videos coming! Just started with woodworking and have learned a lot from your channel. Good stuff!!
Dude same!
Man I love your work!!! If you ever want a free laborer for a week just let me know, I'd fly out in a heartbeat just to gain some knowledge. Myself and my fiancé are currently just buying tools one at a time as we can to try to get a shop started. You're a huge inspiration!!! Thank you for all the work and content you put out!
Your methods and disregard for math inspire me. A beautiful table that will please whomever has it in their home for many years. Well done.
GReat build! I like the simplicity of the leg layout!
I was wrong! I thought this was yet another video on building tables. But, it is Saturday and raining, so I watched. I didn't expect much. BUT, wow, a great idea for not going math crazy! Loved it. Thanks.
Love that table. Great job!!
Awesome. Beautiful, simple, functional
Been watching your channel for a few weeks now. Your videos are amazing. I have learned so much, your videos help me challenge my skills and get me to learn new ones. I hope to be able to get to your level of experience one day. The dream would be turning it into a legit business not a side gig. Keep pumping out the content it is amazing!
The pallet video is still #1 in my books.
Loved this video! The ONLY change I would make would likely be to slightly round the finished table corners, for the only reason that my kids tend to run into a lot of things. All the time. Every day.
Good thing no one asked you.
Love this video, awesome tips and tricks for the rookies!
Great piece of work there. Love your methodology and your humour, mate.
You were close to "planking" on the planks of the table! Thank you, I love your videos!
Really like the template idea to make angles and sizes simple. Excellent!
Man....you're livin the dream...

10 Barrel Apocalypse IPA. Nice choice. I’ve had a few of those.
Nice project too.
You are a very talented artist with a fantastic sense of humor to make your videos fun and informative
Finally someone say that glue alone is strong enough. No dominos, biscuits or anything else needed.
Edit: I dig your straight forward working style. Very refreshing.

Great content lots of good info
as a woman trying to make wood project...I tried watching endles video but one of the most entertaining at the same time knowlegeble and full of simple info is your videos...please keep up the good work ..always looking forward fore more new videos..more power to you....
Great video. Very informative and entertaining. Awesome tips. Beautiful table. Mahalo for sharing. 🐵
Real nice
That was really satisfying to watch and I learned that in a pinch and with some creative problem solving skills that doing math isn’t and shouldn’t be a pain you have to deal with to be a woodworker. Thanks. Also the sanding tip with the IPA was a super nice idea as I can only imagine because oak probably takes forever to sand. The part I loved the most was your design. It was simple and humble. The 3/4” Round Over bit helped the overall look be an inviting style to enjoy using as is that perfect finish. I can only imagine what the chairs would like. I’m imagining something with a 3/4” Round Over and a dowel design as a brace like this table has. Thank you.
Side note, I personally have benefited from woodworking as a way to calm myself with all of the insane political junk going on that I don’t feel the need to even mention here. Wood has helped me feel more at peace knowing that hard work and a goal oriented attitude that can help carry a passionate idea to fruition is more practical and empowering than dealing with all the stress watching news can cause. That stuff should come with warning labels. Just saying.
Thanks again and I feel inspired. You did excellent and deserve props. 👍🏻
Best sanding tip ever.
Your videos feel like a comedian walked into a woodworking shop and just started building stuff, gonna use your tips and tricks on projects thanks kind sir
Very nice!! Yes you got to have a beer to sand!💜
Beatiful!
Woooooooooo wee!!!! That tabletop is SLICK! Excellent job my friend! Above my skill level, but a badass table!
Brilliant man.
Awesome tips, stealing every one!
Great build.
Good job hombre
Excellent class.
