  • In this video, we take a closer look at my wife's 7.3L Powerstroke swapped Bronco that she plans to restore to its former glory. We start with a walkaround of the truck and talk about its exterior and interior features. Then, we take it for a test drive, doing burnouts and see to see how it handles and performs.
As we cruise around, we talk about the benefits of swapping a Powerstroke engine into a classic Bronco, and what it means for power, torque, and overall driving experience. We also touch on some of the things it will need in the future.
It's loud, its raw, and it is for sure in some need of TLC, but it its a running and driving project in its current state.
Whether you're a die-hard Bronco fan, a diesel enthusiast, or just curious about the possibilities of engine swaps, this video is a must-see. Join us as we explore the reliable power and vintage charm of this 7.3L swapped Bronco!

My dad dailied a 7.3 truck when I was a kid, put 750,000 miles on it before the frame rotted in half. That's how I learned about turbos! Hillariously did my driving test that modded 7.3 F350 hahaha. Even though it was like 69,000lbs, the feeling of the boost coming in was like "whoa..." to my 16yo brain.

I was trying to make it look as factory as possible. The dash harness engine bay harness the engine the transmission and front springs are all out of a 97 f350 work truck. The frame harness is all factory bronco. I had a TS6 chip in it when I had it made it run a lot better. If the dash parts are the same you will see the hole on the bottom left where I had the selector knob. Even the fuel sending unit is from the f350 just had to bend the ears and rotate it 180 and it fit perfectly and the factory harness plugged rite in.

Have always thought about what this would be like. I miss my 7.3 tree fiddy. Only thing I don’t miss, it had blocks in the rear (think someone ran a salter or something before me) and holy shit some of the bad roads in my town would have that brick stiff suspension literally leaving the ground 😂😂😂 I’d hit a bump and the engine would rev slightly then the tires would chirp as the now speeding tires hit the ground 😂😂😂 my old ass spine could never take that abuse anymore but I could certainly get used to listening to the 7.3 stroker just singing away 🥰🥰🥰
