Men who have gay desires can be saved. Men who have adulterous desires can be saved. The problem is the gays for some reason expect us to accept their sin as God given. Yeah, that pastor has a false equivalence here.
Amen. The only group with the nerve to demand their sin be affirmed and celebrated by everyone (even God himself). The massive pride and entitlement of the LGBTQ movement is absolutely, Luciferian.
Your videos have been a wonderful and edifying, Cory. I want to say that Mackie’s sermon shown here was actually the one that God used to finally hammer it in and convict me that homosexuality is a sin. He starts off making it clear the purpose and design of marriage, then discusses celibacy as a suggestion/requirement for those who are “gay” to follow and obey Jesus. This particular section he is just addressing the stigma or isolation single people face in churches, both “straight” and “gay”. It’s just the wording that makes it sound as if he is affirming their identity in it, but Mackie absolutely emphasizes having your identity in nothing else but Christ. It’s ultimately unfortunate wording to interchange “gay” with “struggles with same-sex desires.” May God continue to bless your ministry, and that we may all continue to be smart Christians!
Yes, definitions are needed!!! There is a difference between gay and same sex attracted. I often find that people who struggle with same-sex attraction (those who struggle but strive to live holy and serve the Lord) get labeled by the Church/Christians as "gay" (or those who actively and habitually live in homosexual sin). BUT the church doesn't do that for Christians who struggle with other sins. We don't call a Christian striving toward sobriety an alcoholic or drug addict. Just like we don't call married Christians who struggle with lust and strive to deny themselves and live daily for God, adulterers! Treat the same sex attracted Christian as a person who is saved by the blood of Jesus and being sanctified daily, striving to live holy. Don't label them by their sinful past. God doesn't even see them that way.
Yes. I hope that is the case DC.2. Actually, if the construction of his statements leaves an obscure view on God's identity for us, I'm hoping he will make clear his point, if he has not already. I really appreciate Tim and John. I understand completely what Ti C is saying too. Having unwanted same-sex attractions should be expected from Christians the same as having unwanted desires to cheat, swindle, or lie. We shouldn't want or foster those characteristics. But the claim Christian and Gay is an oxymoron. I know the need to belong and be accepted is--in the case of many homosexual oriented persons--their inner-most desire. But we won't be acceptable to God if we insist that we accept our unGodly doctrine. He loves everyone ...TRUE, and it is His will that everyone be saved, and proof of our salvation is that we are determined to disconnect things that God hates.

@@HasanUnknown Hey there friend. In the future as you are proselytizing to Christians on a Christian's platform, consider, your beliefs aren't necessarily new to us. Pasting a huge chunk of the Quran is not only pushy, it's not apt to change our minds. Statistically speaking, many more Muslims turn to Christianity than Christians to Islam. To refute your statement, please see the Holy Scripture(s) below: John 14:9. "Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?" John 10:30. "I and the Father are one.” John 8:56-59. "Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?”[b] 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, 'I AM'” 59 So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.
I remember going to a Christian camp retreat and they were holding 5 hour sermons. They talked about every sin under the sun that straight men commit. It was 200 straight men and 3 obviously gay men. They didn't mention homosexuality once when talking about sin. The homosexual men were hooking up at camp everyone just turned a Blind eye. I left and never went back. I also never went back to that church that invited me to that hot mess.
I am not accusing you of lying, but I really don't want to believe that! That is crazy!! Not only was homosexuality not mentioned, but they let the fornication go unconvicted, too! Sounds like just another arm of modern society meant to tear men down, good that you left.

@@HasanUnknown The Quran is false. You'd really believe how the Quran describes Christ (who is God) when it came 600 years after? And how it tells us to look at the Gospels, yet the Gospels and the Bible as a whole contradict the Quran? Look into the channel called 'Give Light'.
This is my point too, actually he just tries to impart this knowledge in people so that they should make it an issue even when it has never been one,Christ died so we can have life and he died for sinners so we can realise our wrong and repent not to dwell in gaysm in the name of "he came for sinners"
Any one practicing and living in sin is either caught in a stronghold and needs help or is jus unsaved. Andy Stanley is now a very troubling figure. Singleness is not what alot of unmarried people desire but even in churches it's hard to find truly saved Christians
Every human saved or not is sinning daily in thought, word and deed. 1 John 1:8 (KJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. You are only unsaved if you do not believe in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
Me too, I loved how they dealt with the Hebrew of the Old Testament. I loved the illustrations and breakdowns of the prophecies of Christ BEFORE he was born on Earth. But once Tim started denying hell, I knew something was off. Now that he's affirming the LGBTQ I'm saddened, (yet totally unsurprised).
I feel you. Hearing Tim speak like that after the hours I have spent listening to his incredible videos, praying, and reading enthusiastically, growing in my relationship with God. I guess I should have just stuck with my original jaded cop/vet attitude that everybody's a dirtbag! And they wonder why lifelong Christians are leaving churches in droves. Way too many hippie Jesus grifters at the pulpit!
After listening to the whole sermon, it seems to me people are taking Tim Mackie out of context. The point Tim was trying to make is that homosexuals should be celibate to fulfill their calling as images of God. In God's eyes labels like gay or straight don't matter, but whether you followed God with all your heart. This would, of course, mean denying yourself and fleshly desires. This is a universal calling, but it manifests differently for various people. For those who struggle with homosexual attraction, denying oneself is different from someone who, say, struggles with drug addiction. For everyone has their own cross to bear, but for those who persevere there is also a crown for each person.
Mm I agree. There's a difference between the constant struggle with flesh that we all endure for our lifetimes, and blatantly, unashamedly living in sin and trying to justify it.
I agree with you. Being single is okay, its not a sin. Once he proceeded with the rest. I stopped the video and removed my monthly giving to the Bible Project.
And if you truly love your neighbor you will help guide them back on the path before they fall into the snare of sin. Therefore to accept a person's sin is the opposite of love.
Same here, but watch the sermon in its entirety. Mackie upholds Jesus’ definition of marriage (Genesis 1:27). This was filmed back in 2015, so I don’t know how much conversation was going on regarding making a distinction between being “gay” (sexuality as identity) and “struggle with same sex desires” (Christ as your identity and dying to yourself). Unfortunate wording as many say gay intending to mean struggling with same sex attraction. Regardless, let’s continue being smart Christians as we discern the words of men with the words of God!
To be clear, I have watched all of Tim Mackie's videos at Door of Hope church and Bible Project, and he hasn't blurred the homosexuality is a sin line. If I can find the video, I'll leave a link, but Tim is solid on this issue. I remember it because when I first started listening to him, I thought since he was in Portland, OR, he would blur those lines. You must watch all of his Door of Hope videos, and then make a correction for throwing shade on a fellow Christian.
Point well taken! It's a total false juxtaposition that of being single and that of being gay. This is why effeminate and soft men should not be in pulpits! Today we need men of courage and boldness.
First, I'm not aware that single people are ostracized in church. Rather, my experience has been that churches have more "singles" ministries than "married" ministries. Additionally, I find it appalling that the alphabet community tries to paint their "struggle" as similar to born minorities. I did not have to "come out" as a black man as it's evident by my looks. It's not the same.
You know I disagree with his entire premise I've never been made to feel like a second glass citizen because I'm single. Not once not in any church I've ever been in. So he is built a straw man to base this argument off of
Yeah. When he jumped from 'single people' to gays. This is some sneaky slight of hand, he knows exactly what he is doing. This is a man who is doing the devil's work.
I love your teaching. I wish I could have received teaching like this as a young believer, maybe my life would have turned out much differently. Over the years there have been times that I wanted to just give up, quit and throw in the towel and sometimes I still do but God won't let me. He always brings me back from the brink after falling, I get back up! However, many have watered, planted and sown into my life throughout the years but it's at this late stage of life that I am truly receiving good, sound & sensible doctrine of His Word through your ministry and others too, but I do try very hard to be discerning in whom I listen to nowadays. I have to spiritually "fight" this battle daily just to continue trusting & believing. Sometimes it gets hard, but I confess that God is my Rock, my strength and my hope. I thank God for Jesus and the GREAT sacrifice He made on behalf of a person like me. Because I have placed ALL my hope in Jesus, I am able to live on each day that God allows. It is you & like-minded people who love the Lord and respects His Word that I believe I am now seeing true "uncompromising" men of God! You and others are a light in a dark world & people are looking for God's remnant of people everywhere! Thank you, Corey for your steadfast and faithful work in spreading the "Good News" of the gospel!
Well said my sister. It is a daily walk, like you, I had many struggles in faith partly due to poor teaching but the Lord was, as He promised, faithful. This scripture brought much comfort often: 24 This is the day which the Lord has made; Let’s rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 NASB
I agree with you Corey! I'm single and have never felt isolated or missed by the love of the church. In my singleness, I have more time for the things of God rather than having to also factor in a husband and family which would limited time I spend with God.
Hey Corey love the video! I was wondering what are good books you suggest are good to read? I'm 21 years old and really want to understand the gospel and started getting books, so was wondering if there any books you can prefer. Thank You!
Tim didn’t state that at all though. It didn’t come off as blurring lines, but as stating that there are same-sex attracted/gay people in the church that won’t get married. You added context to his statement.
I have been a faithful contributor to Bible Project. I have had my eye on them since they introduced elongated days into the creation week. I didn't necessarily have a problem with their presentation, but they left it as though it was their final decision on the matter without introducing anything to counter it. I am an advocate for 6 literal days. I hope, in this case that clarity in his intended conveyance is all that is needed. I really like those guys. I have this draw toward goof-ball-ism, but not heresy. I didn't stop supporting them just because of our disagreement on the literal days, even though I know it is a serious matter. But if they begin pushing the homosexual agenda, I'm out. I am really going to pray for redemption. I don't want that huge ministry to come up short. Imagine all they work they can do to propagate the Gospel ....work, I thought and hoped they were doing. Blessings to you my friend. I'm watching you several times a day now. Be blessed.
Well put I have seen other things in the Bible Project which I do not believe are Biblical theology. I should have listed them but I made a mental note when I saw them. So now I watch their stuff carefully before recommending the videos to others.. I even say to people that i do not support all their theology but THIS video is OK. does that make sense bro? ========= The answer to homosexuality is not hetrosexuality, it's purity, it's Holiness. 1 Thess 4:1-7 Same sex attraction is not gay. The way I understand it is, "gay" is a person engaging in homosexuality... which in turn means that a same sex attracted individual has no more excuse for a gay lifestyle than 99% straight men who have hetro-sexual attraction and do not follow through with that thought. does that make sense?
I think there is some misunderstanding here (see the second part of the previous reply from @BibleStudyMade Easy). I think that what Tim was trying to say is this: if it is possible to be celibate, it must be possible to be SSA and celibate - see Matt 19:11c - and renounce sexuality for the kingdom of heaven. In that sense there is "neither gay nor straight", because the same standard applies to both.
I pray that God grants each church member strength to leave their church when the pastor stops preaching and teaching God's words. Make sure you are respectful when you leave and pray for the church. Each member should read or listen to the bible for themselves. The pastor is human and a sinner too, and can be influenced by the world.
What Tim Mackey is communicating is that a gay person who decides to stay single and not give into their desires for the same sex should not be ostracized from the church. That doesn’t mean that their desire for the same sex has completely gone away. Why do people continue to misrepresent their view as one that affirms a same sex lifestyle. If you watched the whole sermon, that’s clearly what he was saying
@@annetteyoung7859 do we call married people who lust for others in secret adulterers ? I don’t think the gay he is referring to is a practicing homosexual. I think he is talking about people who struggle with same sex attraction. It is okay to remain single and be a part of the body even with these struggles. Getting saved does not automatically rid you of sinful desires. You put them to death everyday
@@completoencristo how am I making an excuse for him? He literally says that the alternative to participating in a marriage covenant (Man + woman) is living a single life without sex. I don’t see how that’s contrary to the Bible in any way
My biggest challenge "masterbation".. I've been fighting this battle for years now and as a single guy at 25 it's hard and i give in sometimes.. But even tho I know Jesus payment is above my sin i still feel like i don't deserve to be forgiven because i keep repeating this.. I would go weeks and sometimes months but i always come back to the beginning.. It's sad and disgusting
I'm gonna be blunt. Stay off the porn. That's the first step. Delete all of your browser history pointing to those sites, stop searching for it. I've been there, so I understand completely. And believe me when I say that it does get easier. Porn twists sexuality in such perverted ways, and it devalues both men and women. You won't stop masturbating immediately, but over time you will find yourself doing it less and less. And you will have more self-control.
So as far as Tim Mackie's part is concerned, you apparently didn't listen to his hour long lesson he gave here. It had nothing to do with homosexuality. What you've done here is at the very least created a huge straw man as you took a few clips, made up your own context and then falsely claimed he said it that way. There's no conceivable way you could have watched that lesson and came away with what I just listened to you say. The lesson was about marriage, divorce and sex within the proper context that God defined, in which Tim Mackie based his entire lesson on 3 main passages. Matthew 19:1-12, Genesis 1:27 and 2:24 and Deuteronomy 24:1-4. Tim over and over in this lesson states that proper imaging of God within a marriage is 1 man and 1 woman to procreate. He never adds to, or takes away from, this. He stated at the beginning that he's read the Matthew 19 passage to gay people who want to get married. The clear context, in this case, was that it's better to stay single, not marry and abstain from sex. At no point did he ever allude to the fact that it's cool to be a Christian and be a practicing homosexual. The fact that he stated proper imaging of God with marriage and sex, is between 1 man and 1 woman, completely refutes your misrepresentation of his point.
It seems to me the only reason Andy has no problem making gays feel comfortable in their sin is because he is probably gay. God is not willing that anyone should perish, but if we will not turn from our wicked ways, we will not spend eternity with God. We have to do it God's way and not our way. Andy needs to tell gays the truth about what God says in his word about this lifestyle.
Yeah .. you have to wonder why they take these stands when the vast majority of the congregation is opposed to it and the scripture is clear about it... then what would make a person take that stand??? unless Satan is bribing them...?
Their exodus classrooom study with Dr. carmen Imes is great; however, when I started listening to their podcast…everything seemed off. He leads conversations regarding the word as if they’re open to interpretation and open ended. It’s a weird approach when I take the Bible literally unless it’s obvious hyperbole, etc. Ugh, another one bites the dust. I stopped following everyone almost and just go to my new church, and read with the guidance of the Holy Spirit now. This channel is good too as well as Ontario Calvary chapel but the rest are off in some way. Not saying we won’t disagree on minute things that could be subjective (like what the stones in the ephod could have POSSIBLY meant), but things like homosexuality, salvation, etc…when there are major differences to what I’m reading in the word and studying in context, I just let the channel/person be.
I see where you're coming from. It's natural to be uncomfortable with Tim's hermeneutics. That is why it's important to always read the Bible in context. However, that does mean wrestling with the fact the Bible is written in many genres. So a literal reading of the text is not always a faithful or accurate reading.
"Walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh". Galatians 5:16. Sin can be overcome. God didn't say no to these people, but they said yes to their flesh. This is not God's fault that they are gay.
Hey brother! Love your channel! I gotta say I don’t think Tim was implying that one can remain in their sin and not be broken or torn over it. I’ve seen this lecture. He doesn’t believe in blurring the lines. I just think he was just trying to make a point. I understood what he was doing, though I think there could have been a better way. But he was already making the point of how unjust it is for homosexuals to be ostracized in our churches. And also, he is not referring to homosexual lifestyle. But homosexual in its correct definition, same-sex attraction. Same-sex attraction is not a sin. Andy Stanley, on the other hand, that dude has gone off the rails. That guy is literally quoted as saying it is OK to embrace a sinful lifestyle. I think that guy has a problem.
I’m gonna say this because the church seems to ignore those of us who have been brought out of the act of homosexuality by the saving and delivering power of the Gospel. I didn’t need to identify by ANYTHING but saved by grace through faith when I put my faith in him. I don’t want anyone referring to me as my previous sinful acts. I’m not a bi sexual Christian. I am a son of God a right given to me by the loves that has been bestowed upon me by THE FATHER HIMSELF. I could no longer engage in the act that I knew the Lord found detestable. I no longer FELT a desire to engage in the act. The more I sought the Lord he even explained to me through his word and provided understanding as to why he designed marriage and sex the way he had. Let’s stop telling people they are okay to identify as a sexual act they engage in whether homosexual or heterosexual. We identify IN CHRIST We ABIDE in Christ and we move how he says to and how the Holy Spirit causes us to. Amen
Blessed are the eyes that see and the ears that hear! I 100% agree. No other sin do christians "indentify" with. Indentification with sinful acts as a part of who you are is what the world teaches, not God. Its Christian. That word explains everything. Its about Christ and following His direction.
“Repentance toward God” is a requisite of salvation being appropriated to an individual. Anyone who contends for this question does not understand the person and work of Christ and is not saved.
If they love God they would be convicted by the Holy spirit of their lust problem and eventually through the help of the holy spirit the strong hold would be cast down.
Perhaps the thing that escapes Tim about teaching people how to read the entire Bible, is that believers use their own comprehension to understand God's desire for how we are to live our lives. The Bible Project did such a good job for me that it's blatantly obvious Tim is rationalizing sinful behavior to conform to the whims of the contemporary world. It is not enlightened, evolved, or biblical.
people were told to doubt their own sexuality/birth identity in the 1990s by “activists” even when we still had clause 28 (councils etc were banned from heavily promoting homosexuality etc from 1988-early 2000s) in the UK. We question how things are coming along. It looks like a learned trait like feminising, womanising etc by the way it’s pushed instead of smoothly acknowledged
THE CHURCH IS NOT A BUILDING BUT A PERSON. “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19
People of color step in ostracized situation since HISTORY. MR. STANLEY! No you have some things to learn! Much prayer for you and your followers. Said with truth and love. Great video….truth
The goal of faith is turning away from sin which is what kills us and we become saved through repentance and condemnation of sin. This is the fruit of conversion. Living as a thief, an alcoholic, drug addict or homosexual is exactly the opposite of what the fruit is. Conversion brings change always, no change means there was not conversion, and no new birth.
If I didn't know any better I would think that the comments section is a Ray Comfort comments section. The same unwarranted assumptions flooding it. The same prejudice, bigotry, and self-righteousness being demonstrated. Detestable Christians are found everywhere.
But Corey in the first minute you’re giving an interpretation to something we didn’t even hear. I’ll probably need to watch the original and make my own judgements. But it seems like you have made conclusions that don’t match up with the clips you’re playing.
A number of church groups (including the very biblically grounded and loving Westboro Baptist Church) repeatedly hounded Mr. Rogers, and even picketed him, because of his refusal to publicly condemn gay people, so using him as an example here may not be the best choice. Just passing along what I've read. I know it's sad and disappointing.
I'm not even going to watch this video. I know Andy is out of line, but Tim is ON RECORD saying that homosexuality is condemned in the Bible. Just because he gives them consideration doesn't mean he endorses it. He's considering how we can give them the gospel when they don't feel like they fit in the church. I'm really getting tired of the lies and slander so many RUclipsrs are throwing at Tim.
People that have committed homosexual acts in the past can be forgiven. If they are practicing those things then they dont know God and they dont really have a place in the church. I think a lot of christians are confused but the Bible is clear. 1 corinthians 5 and 6 is where it talks about what is allowed.
Noooo, Tim Mackie is very biblical in his teachings. You’re doing a great disservice here. He would never teach that it’s ok to stay in your sin. He is such a humble soul and so Christ centered. You definitely got this one wrong! Actually Cory, you could learn a lot from Tim, he’s got his doctorate in theology and Hebrew. God is using him greatly. You do realize you’re not right ALL the time.
Listen man, being gay means you are attracted to the same sex. Tim Mackie is teaching gay Christians must remain celibate. He's right man. And if you are saying you're not gay if you're not practicing, that's a silly position to hold. Before I was married I was straight, even though I wasn't having sex because it would be wrong. Being gay refers to the attraction. This video is beyond ignorant and tearing down a good teacher for the Lord. Think more and I dare you to refute his sermon or my comment. Do better brother
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named *among you* [en humin*], as becometh *saints* [hagiois]; Neither filthiness, ... Let no-man deceive *you* [humas] with empty words: ... *- Eph 5^3-6* * Jam 5^19 ** Gal 5^21, 1-Cor 6^9
Wow he just totally beat up on straight people, the bible speaks out against homosexuality if that is not okay with someone just join a different religion.
Yeah isnt that wierd? Yeah .. you have to wonder why they take these stands when the vast majority of the congregation is opposed to it and the scripture is clear about it... then what would make a person take that stand??? unless Satan is bribing them...?
Loving people doesn’t mean you agree with and support everything they do, especially if it goes against scripture. Love says no. Love draws lines we are unwilling to cross. Love tells the truth in all situations even if it hurts to hear it. Too many people think you have to be silent or stand on the sideline and or as many are saying in this hour do not judge a person’s lifestyle but this is not biblical. Jesus would address it and so should we, those in Christ. “Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:9-17 KJV “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.” 1 Corinthians 11:31 KJV
Like you said if it’s a church that never teaches on sin and keeps the sermons on a motivational level than you have a gay person is going to feel comfortable going there but if they go to a solid Bible teaching church that addresses the whole of scripture then that person will soon leave and find a church that accepts their sin.
I can understand where it could be perceived that Tim is blurring the lines, but in the 57th minute of his video he reaffirms that marriage is between a man and a woman only. I believe and this is just conjecture given his statement in the 57th minute, that he is talking about people that struggle with homosexual attraction. He could have been more straight forward, but I believe that’s the message he is trying to convey. God loves us where we are and through him is where the change will come. We don’t clean ourselves up before we can come to Christ, but it is his blood that washes us and thus changes our heart. He didn’t say this specifically, but that is the implication. You cannot be a practicing homosexual and please God. Does that sentence us to eternal separation from God? I believe only if you reject God’s law and call what is wrong right. Struggling with sin is not the same as accepting sin as right.
Men who have gay desires can be saved. Men who have adulterous desires can be saved.
The problem is the gays for some reason expect us to accept their sin as God given.
Yeah, that pastor has a false equivalence here.
Amen Brother. We love the sinners, not the sin. I don't want my sins to be glorified either.
Well said. This is the heart of the issue
@@JohnHH59 You got that right and right on point 👉 👈
@John A I agree with you, the main problem is a heart problem that embrace the ways of the world
It’s ultimately unfortunate wording to interchange “gay” with “struggles with same-sex desires.”
May God continue to bless your ministry, and that we may all continue to be smart Christians!

To refute your statement, please see the Holy Scripture(s) below:
John 14:9. "Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?"
John 10:30. "I and the Father are one.”

@Just A Regular Guy yeah. I donated to their work, I grew in. Knowledge, but I agree it's sadly not surprising in this day and age

It’s great to hear of fellow Christians stewarding their money well!
And if you truly love your neighbor you will help guide them back on the path before they fall into the snare of sin. Therefore to accept a person's sin is the opposite of love.
Bible project truly helped me in the past but dang this man Tim just keep saying some that have me questioning 🥶🙃
Gay is not ok
1 Corinthians 6:9
Effeminate doesn't mean homosexuality
It could mean "cross dressing"
@@kathleenking47 sure. cross dressing men should not be in pulpits either.
Im sorry as this may sound insensitive but the “the alphabet” community took me out😭😭😂🤣
So they want to worship but still stay in their sin? That's not how it works.

Be blessed.

So now I watch their stuff carefully before recommending the videos to others..
I even say to people that i do not support all their theology but THIS video is OK.
does that make sense bro?
=========
The answer to homosexuality is not hetrosexuality, it's purity, it's Holiness.
1 Thess 4:1-7
Same sex attraction is not gay.
You need to post a link to where you got that shirt, yo.
This is exactly what I thought
Which sermon is this from?
@@annetteyoung7859 do we call married people who lust for others in secret adulterers ?
I don’t think the gay he is referring to is a practicing homosexual. I think he is talking about people who struggle with same sex attraction. It is okay to remain single and be a part of the body even with these struggles. Getting saved does not automatically rid you of sinful desires. You put them to death everyday
Stop making an excuse for this guy. You have to accept that his an apostate.

You need Deliverance from this evil Spirit. God did it for me and he can do it for you
So as far as Tim Mackie's part is concerned, you apparently didn't listen to his hour long lesson he gave here.
Great video.
This stuff and other stuff is creeping its way and is already in the church. It's kind of scary.

What i would like to know is why are all of these pastors “Coming Out” from the other day?
Smart Christian You are on point. Be strong. In prayer mode, because people like you who doesn't compromise the word are going to be targeted.
Hey...I like your "Mr. Rogers" t-shirt 👕 ...🙌🏾😍🥰👊🏾💥
Agreed brother, I fall into sin but I'm not about to compromise and say it's okay, I'm trusting that Christ will set me free.
Next thing you know you will hear Andy admitting. He was in a gay relationship after all his years.
I listen to his Dad regularly teaching the true word of God. What exactly has Andy been trying to tell us 🤔
Was thinking the same thing
In a video Charles Stanley actually said that if you're a practicing homosexual and a Christian you will enter into heaven. No joke.
@@shadow96433 I find it hard to believe that Charles Stanley said that.......although granted..........nothing surprises me these days.
Thank you..... great explanations. 👏👏👏👏

We question how things are coming along. It looks like a learned trait like feminising, womanising etc by the way it’s pushed instead of smoothly acknowledged
I've always believed them to be closet homosexuals...
THE CHURCH IS NOT A BUILDING BUT A PERSON.
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”
1 Corinthians 6:19
Does sin even exist in a lawless world?
Sin exist wherever man exists.
Good point !
The Ten commandments still stand my friend, IN STONE
Serpent tongue. Thanks for shedding light on this
Great tee-shirt 😂😊
Have you fully submitted to the Lord?
Very Good 👍 Video Excellent Teaching!!!
Does being gay prevent one from being celibate?
People of color step in ostracized situation since HISTORY. MR. STANLEY! No you have some things to learn! Much prayer for you and your followers. Said with truth and love. Great video….truth
The goal of faith is turning away from sin which is what kills us and we become saved through repentance and condemnation of sin. This is the fruit of conversion.
Living as a thief, an alcoholic, drug addict or homosexual is exactly the opposite of what the fruit is.
Conversion brings change always, no change means there was not conversion, and no new birth.
I have the same shelf that you do, but I’ve got my LEGOs on it. I’ve got an epic clone wars battle on the middle row 🔥 👏🏼 👀
If I didn't know any better I would think that the comments section is a Ray Comfort comments section. The same unwarranted assumptions flooding it. The same prejudice, bigotry, and self-righteousness being demonstrated. Detestable Christians are found everywhere.
People like him need to step down. He struggles with delivering the truth and he brings confusion. Something is not right.
But Corey in the first minute you’re giving an interpretation to something we didn’t even hear.
I’ll probably need to watch the original and make my own judgements. But it seems like you have made conclusions that don’t match up with the clips you’re playing.
Depends on your definition of faithful Christian. (Not likely meeting God's definition , but..)
John 14:15
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments
🎤 dropped. Shalawam
AMEN Joejoe
Can't be gay and be Christian doesn't go hand-in-hand
Amen!!!!!! Corey
Why is this the paradigm, getting married, have kids and serve God??? Because GOD SAID IT!!!
The funny thing is Mr Rogers was a Methodist minister of my memory serves me right
Listen man, being gay means you are attracted to the same sex.
❣Truth.
John 17:17
Truth divides as Jesus says it would.
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named *among you* [en humin*], as becometh *saints* [hagiois]; Neither filthiness, ... For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, *hath* [echei] any inheritance in the kingdom** of Christ and of God. Let no-man deceive *you* [humas] with empty words: ...
*- Eph 5^3-6*
* Jam 5^19
** Gal 5^21, 1-Cor 6^9
NO.......andddd debate ever....we did it a new world record!.
Amen 🙏🏾
Wow he just totally beat up on straight people, the bible speaks out against homosexuality if that is not okay with someone just join a different religion.
Yeah
isnt that wierd?
Yeah .. you have to wonder why they take these stands when the vast majority of the congregation is opposed to it and the scripture is clear about it... then what would make a person take that stand???
unless Satan is bribing them...?
Compromise will send many to hell. Their motive is evil and wicked
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”
Colossians 3:9-17 KJV
“For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.”
1 Corinthians 11:31 KJV
Totally agree well said 👏👏
Like you said if it’s a church that never teaches on sin and keeps the sermons on a motivational level than you have a gay person is going to feel comfortable going there but if they go to a solid Bible teaching church that addresses the whole of scripture then that person will soon leave and find a church that accepts their sin.
Context is key.
Why are you lying and manipulating Tim Mackie's video
He claims it's sin
He tells homosexuals to stay single
