An FYI regarding the taxation on capitsl gains, the proposal is for those with more than $100 million. You may still be against it, but the example you used with the cup wouldn't apply.
Such laws NEVER stay within the bracket they use to sell the idea. Income tax, implemented during the Civil War, was supposed to only hit people making over one million. But now it hits everybody. Same with health care ACA (Obamacare). It was supposed to only affect people making over 250K, but then they kept lowering it, and now it hits everyone.
So there’s a difference. The capital gains tax proposal is 44 percent. That is different from the unrealized gains tax on the folks making over 100 million dollars. Both are still idiotic tax policy.

As a 56 year old Christian that is pro life married to my male husband for 30+ years, I am voting for Kamala. Laws Do Not dictate my response to God's will. We as Christians have a responsibility to teach and model what this says the Lord and if we don't, God will hold us accountable.
