Corey, as a brother in Christ, and student of apologetics, I appreciate very much what you are doing. Sooooo many Christians are getting caught up in this and it is so dangerous for the faith. At the same time, God's Word warns us that teachers just like this will rise up and teach what itching ears desire to hear. I continue to pray for the GENIUNE move of the Holy Spirit that brings repentance from sin, Holy living, and a desire to grow in the Truth of God's Word. Stay grounded Saints, many false teachers will come. Jesus is actively dividing the sheep from the goats as we get closer to His return. Well said my brother. I keep saying the same exact thing. It’s exciting yet also very sorrowful times we are in. We must continue to pray and intercede for them. God never gave up on us and we can’t give up on them, nor the lost. When I had my near death experience about 5 years ago, God had me feel the torments of hell and hear the torments. I wasn’t able to see. It was completely dark. The first words out of my mouth on the hospital gurney when I came back to life was “it burns!”. I don’t ever want anyone to suffer that torment for all eternity. I want everyone to come to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ and believe, and therefore repent. God bless you and continue in the faith my friend 🙏
So Isaiah is saying that unsaved persons have the Holy Spirit and Saved persons can be demon possessed?? My goodness. Hope he is led to the truth. Pray for him guys.
people have spirits that follow their bloodline and oppress them. while the person isn't literally "possesed" by the spirit there can be generational spirits that have some hidden legal right in the persons life.
@@AMRsti93 no such thing as a generational curse or spirit that will harm a believer. If you think that you are saying Christ's work on the cross was unfinished and not good enough.
I can also add not everyone has the Holy spirit because after submitting to his teaching. Some people avoid me like the plague (ive seen people run away frantically) others tell me i look so happy like im glowing. 🙏 the salvation is unmatched 27 years of anxiety and depression Gone!! Truly free i wouldn’t trade it for all the money in the world. Also after i felt the spirit enter me i had the urge to buy a bible i finished the New Testament in about two months first time in my life i ever cried like a baby when reading a book especially when peter denied Jesus 😢😢😢 broke my heart.
You cried because you understood we are like Peter. We have denied Him for too long. But now, we are grateful for what He had done for us. May God keep blessing you and your family.
Exactly and anyone who doesn't agree or trys to correct him out of love he says they have demons- even his followers speak that foolishness sadly they blinded by twisted doctrines. Blind leading blind..
Spot on Brother Cory. This is so shocking to see how many online have these large followings and have such bad doctrine on so many issues. I know we all have "blind spots" but this is just mind blowing bad decrement by this gentlemen. God bless everyone
Notice how Isaiah talks far more about what a DEMON can do to you vs what the HOLY SPIRIT can do. He praises the power of a demon MORE than the power of the Spirit. That tells you everything you need to know.
@adrianwesley9966, and evidently, Isaiah is also stronger than God since he can deliver someone from a demon over a zoom call but the Holy Spirit has to share a Christian with a demon. This boy is just wrong on so many levels.
Good word brother....besides, we are also SEALED by the Holy Spirit until the day of full redemption when He presents us in heaven. The shallow understanding because they believe in the UNIVERSAL Christ.... Christ in all and is all. They preach a Gnostic gospel. With all due respect, I believe you have misrepresented Storm's argument. He is not espousing heresy. If you read the article it is clear that Sam Storm's states, "But again we must remember that the Holy Spirit in a certain sense "inhabits" everything and everyone in the universe, even unbelievers (of course, in the case of the latter he does not indwell them in a saving or sanctifying way). The Holy Spirit is, after all, omnipresent. He dwells everywhere! You may also recall from the book of Job that Satan had access to the presence of God, indicating that the issue is not one of spatial proximity but of personal relationship." At timestamp 05:17, you recognized a distinction between the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the presence of the Holy Spirit/God. It follows that if a person affirms omnipresence, then they must acknowledge that God, his Spirit, has a universal presence in the material world. That would mean that no section, inside or outside of the human body is external to the presence of God and his Spirit [in some sense]. This is not borderline pantheism, because God is essentially distinct from the material world. At timestamp 06:20 is when you bring forth some of the aforementioned accusations against Storms. If you carefully read the argument, it is clear that Storms is not asserting that the Holy Spirit is indwelling all persons. In fact he explicitly denies it ("he does not indwell them in a saving or sanctifying way") and states rather that the Holy Spirit "inhabits" everything in the universe because the Holy Spirit is not bound by spatial constraints. Now the question is what does "inhabit" mean and why was Storms so careful to put it in quotations. I would posit that Storms is not claiming that all persons are temples of the Holy Spirit at all, but he is merely affirming omnipresence and using "inhabit" as an analogy. If anyone has a problem with the usage of inhabit, then your contention is semantic and not in accordance with the substance of Storm's position. I am not Charismatic, nor do I agree with Storm's position on this topic. But, for the sake of intellectual honesty let us be more careful and not be fast to call everyone heretics without caution.
Not in a "certain sense" or "any sense" does the Spirt inhabit everyone. Without question that claim is heresy, whether he is a heretic or not. He is simply forcing a conclusion with no Biblical basis.
@@smartchristians Again you're hearkening on the word "inhabits", which Storm's clearly puts in quotations and provides nuance in the following phrase. The claim he is clearly making is that the Holy Spirit has a universal presence, which is not heresy. If the Holy Spirit has a universal presence, then in some sense, the Holy Spirit's presents permeates all things in the world. Would you reject that premise? And if so, is the Holy Spirit therefore not omnipresent?
@@SlaveofGod 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 BSB 13 The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the LORD with one voice. They lifted up their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments, in praise to the LORD: “For He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.” And the temple, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud 14 so that the priests could not stand there to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God. Corey is correct in his video. In the two passages above, we see that when the Lord entered the temple to dwell there, not even the priests could enter. Imagine an evil spirit full of darkness and unclean dwelling alongside a holy God. Remember when God instructed Moses and Aaron what they had to do before they entered the Tent of Meeting? If they entered it without washing themselves with water and obeying the rest of the rituals, they would drop dead (if they entered in an unholy way or didn't obey God's instruction). Let's not forget Aaron's two sons who brought unauthorized incense. What happened to them? God killed them. How in the world would God allow a demonic spirit to live alongside Him?
@@SpiritualMinefield That is irrelevant to the discussion. I am not addressing whether or not a demon can indwell a believer. That was not my problem with this video. I don't believe they can, so you're speaking to the choir. I am addressing the blatantly false accusations Corey made of Storm's position.
I heard a sermon yesterday and the pastor spoke of how Solomon even understood that the heaven of heavens can’t even contain the presence, might and glory of God/the son/the Holy Spirit. So, in a sense, when the Holy Spirit dwells in us. His might and power is so great that it fills us completely. So based on Isaiah’s logic. There’s not enough “space” for any other entity, I.e demons, to “possess” a Christian. So he’s just refuting and contradicting himself every time he speaks.
I hope Sam Storms addresses Isaiah’s use of this. I have always known Sam Storms to be one to be careful with Scripture. I don’t agree with everything he says, but he isn’t sloppy or loose with the Word. And I certainly believe he would reject most of the major positions that Isaiah stands on.
Sorry to say, but I think Corey misrepresented Storms and Isaiah. And I'm not familiar or fans of any. I could just tell from the clip it's a misrepresentation. 😢
Such heresy.... EVERY TIME they open their mouths and spew out a falsehood, as believers we should raise our voices and expose it to the TRUTH. KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU DO....this is called fighting for the faith.
Holy = set apart Devil = prince of the air influencer of this world So no not everybody has the Holy spirit. I went to catholic church i did all my sacraments and only felt the Holy spirit enter me through genuine repentance in my bedroom. Unbelievable experience that was about 6 months ago since then i have stopped smoking marijuana, vaping, drinking alcohol and fornicating even cursing (i live in nyc everyone curses every 2 seconds) do i still fall to sin unfortunately yes. But i was rolling around in sin like a pig in mud i can never ever live my life like that again i have a distaste for sin now it disgusts me. I did have some serious strongholds and a heart that underwent spiritual surgery. All glory to our lord and savior Jesus christ. Also me spreading the true Gospel ended up casting demons out of my family members i tried deliverance it failed they only wanted to fight me lol it has to be their free will not what i want its and Gods will not ours i prayed and repented and worked with them to help cast down their strongholds as-well.
I received the HOLY Spirit in my bedroom as well when I was about 22 years old. I'm almost 55, and He never left me. My life changed since that day. Praise the LORD!!!

This could be in reference to Malachi 2:15 which says: "But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth." (NKJV) The NASB and newer translations change the meaning of this verse to make it seem like not everyone has that remnant. If we are not good, but only God is good, then how can there be seemingly good people that obey the law naturally? Because of the remnant of God's Spirit within them. Not that they are necessarily born again by the Holy Spirit, but He's working in their lives; hovering over them, like He did the tabernacle / temple in the Old Testament and the earth in the beginning. Never the less, I agree with your assessment, I feel like they are casting out "demons" blaming them for sin rather than dealing with the underlying problem of the flesh.
Its very telling that Isaiah is basing his doctrine on this subject, on Sam Storms book and not on Scripture. Hes basically using an appeal to authority (since Sam Storms is "respected") to back up his claim.
“Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.” James 3:10-12 KJV
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30 KJV An evil spirit cannot cross the blood or Holy Spirit given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I sure hope he doesn't! My husband has gotten sucked into believing in the deliverance "ministries" and I'm still working on getting him out. It saddens me to know how many people are being lied to and my husband can quote Bible verses all day. Isaiah speaks enough truth (quoting Scripture)that some people can't see the lies.

If you read the article, more than what Corey shares here, it is clear that Sam Storms does not affirm panentheism. On Sam Storm's own website, he has articles affirming the creator-creature distinction. Corey has misunderstood Storm's position from half-picked quotations, rather than addressing the full substance of Storm's argumentation. At timestamp 05:17 Corey accepts a distinction between the presence and indwelling activity of the Holy Spirit. Then uncharitably disregards Storm's claim that the Holy Spirit does not indwell the unregenerate in a saving/sanctifying sense. Rather Storm's is claiming the universal presence of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit is immaterial, the very God, with a presence that permeates (not penetrates) everywhere in this universe.
@@SlaveofGod Isaiah use Sam storm written to defend the lie that Christians can be possessed. There’s no need to defend Sam storm if you believe the same.
@@SlaveofGod I'll try finding this article later on, but it seems Isaiah Saldivar is still interpreting it as panentheism, so Isaiah isn't equited from panentheism. Edit: no, Sam uses the exact same argument as Isaiah to defend why Spirit indwelled believers can also be indwelled/possessed by demons. This is categorically rejected by both Jesus (Matthew 12/Luke 11) and Paul (1 Corinthians 6) not to mention all places that mention God's holiness. The story of Job in no way refutes this, as it would logically follow that then there would be no demons on earth whatsoever!
@@same5263 It is irrelevant whether or not I agree with Isaiah or the deliverance ministry. As stated before I don't. As a Christian, the Spirit convicts us that false accusations are unacceptable. And it shows intellectual dishonesty, please get out of the echo chamber and interact with people who may disagree with your worldview.
@@SojournerDidimus I think you may be misunderstanding your charge of panentheism. Isaiah is reading from Sam Storm's argument. I am not going to defend the soundness of Storm's argument, but I will note that in no way does his argument imply or entail panentheism. In fact, as I stated before on Storm's website, there are other articles, specifically one on "General Revelation" where he affirms the creator-creature distinction, which is incompatible with panentheism.
Okay so I agree with you but lately I have been thinking this topic has to be more nuanced. My question is, how do we first come to faith? Somehow the Holy Spirit does His work to convict us even before we are in faith. He tugs on our heart and gives us thoughts to warn us against certain things.. some would call that intuition. So yes, I do believe we are set apart as believers, and once we come to repentence we allow Him to really work on us. However, it had to start somewhere as unbelievers right? Could you please touch on this and provide scripture? I am genuinely interested. Thank you and great video!

As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” 17 “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” If the Scripture instructs us that we cannot be yoked or be together with an unbeliever (the Christian being holy and the unbeliever being unholy) by using Jesus and the temple as illustrations that nothing unclean can be with a holy God. Then, we understand that since we are the temple of the Lord now, how can the Holy Spirit allow a demonic dirty, and unclean spirit to live alongside God? Just like God would not allow a demon to live with Him in the (human) temple, we cannot be bound to an unbeliever.
You got him again with biblical scripture brother Corey. This evil “demon slayer” will never stop until he meets Jesus. God has a special place for “witch doctors” but let’s keep praying for him. Just one correction bro Corey @ timestamp 7:50, it’s actually 1 Corinthians 12:13 that says so not Romans 12:13 lol but it’s a honest mistake though I understand lol
Isaiah also says that the idea of "possession" isn't in the Bible, that it only uses the word "demonization" but having a demon(s) living inside of you IS the definition of possession! He minces words and changes definitions at the drop of a hat. He focuses SO HEAVY on casting out demons, yet we see no such focus from the Apostles.
Isaiah's lack of biblical scholarship doesn't surprise. What saddens me though is Mr. Storm's implicit endorsement of pantheism/panentheism, which, if not informed, can lead to all sorts of idol worship. I'm a continuationist, so I was hoping Storms was also a continuationist that leaned on proper exegesis, but what was shared so far was a problematic take.
This video is a prime example of itching ears, spiritually being immature (not getting proper teaching ) and heeding to sound doctrine. Sadly, much of it is in regards to basic doctrine.
The temptations we face are always appealing to the flesh, carnality and human desires and passions, they come from the devil or demonic entities BUT it is NOT the demon making or forcing you to do it....nor is that demon in you. That demon entity is attempting to influence you towards REBELION against God and the word.....hence, resulting in sin of which we repent of and we are cleansed from the sin BUT NO DEMON NEEDS TO BE EXORCISED OUT OF THE BELIEVERS. That thinking will mean that every time I sin I would need full blown deliverance from demons.
Simply saying it does not make it so. The Spirit of promise is to those that God has called. This is the receiving of ability to be a witness unto Jesus. The Spirit is also the teacher of the saints, he takes the things of Christ and shows them unto us, and shows us things to come. Jesus said that the world cannot receive the Comforter, because it cannot know him. The man making these outrageous statements is parading his ignorance. We compare spiritual things with spiritual. The word of God is spiritual, and cannot be comprehended by the natural man, those that are carnally minded. If the light in you be darkness, how great is that darkness?
Nothing he says makes any sense & he’s chasing after things that only increases his deception. Him & his friends are wanting to play so much with demons, it would seem demons are actually playing with them instead. 😓

Yes, the Holy Spirit as He is God is omnipresent. Doesn’t mean it’s ok to say He dwells in unbelievers, though. Another issue is whether God is present in hell since He’s omnipresent. Although we usually hear of hell as separation from God I’ve heard He is there in His wrath against the unrepentant. Not a fan of Sam Storms but I’m hesitant to call him a heretic over this.
Because we're told, for our own good, to do so: *2Timothy **2:14**-16* " Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. *Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.* But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness."
Thank you for continuing to expose Isaiah's teachings. He continues to say that some people do not have the holy Spirit because we don't believe like he does. He is wrong in his teaching.. A Christian isn't willing to run the risk of undermining his faith. That is to say, at best he is selectively honest. And there's nothing respectable about that.
“But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against an house falleth. Can a person equate Storm to NT Wright who twists scripture for personal gain and to deceive ignorant persons?. Would a person actually call them believers or just intellectuals(not saved) which may include salvador? I don't think for a moment that a believer would say these things, it's just outright no fear of God , it's sinful to bring God's work down to their level of understanding, it's just rebellious and intentional, willful sin in my opinion, yet God is longsufferring and gracious but will eventually judge them according to their deeds. In the meantime do continue to expose these false teachers because that what they prefer to be. They are actually not for God but against God.
I rebuke and speak out against him and any other false teacher! Scripture is clear. 2 Timothy 4:3-4: 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. He didn't say that, your taking him out of context. You probably would start manifesting if you went for deliverance, most Christians who don't believe they cannot have demons are the ones who have them.
The demons who were cast out of a man asked Jesus if they could go into a heard of swine, Jesus allowed it. Jesus did not tell the demons , you can stay in there and keep tormenting the man. See how ludicrous their theology is
I see you're live right now and I was gonna ask this in there but I didn't want to get off your topic, but I heard a guy who I watch and I enjoy his teachings but I think he might have the demon topic wrong, he said the demon attaches to the soul he said like God is triune we're triune flesh, spirit and soul and the demon attaches to the soul in a Christian even tho the Holy Spirit dwells in our spirit

@adrianwesley9966, and evidently, Isaiah is also stronger than God since he can deliver someone from a demon over a zoom call but the Holy Spirit has to share a Christian with a demon. This boy is just wrong on so many levels.

You may also recall from the book of Job that Satan had access to the presence of God, indicating that the issue is not one of spatial proximity but of personal relationship."
At timestamp 05:17, you recognized a distinction between the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the presence of the Holy Spirit/God.
@@SlaveofGod 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 BSB
13 The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the LORD with one voice.
Should have put "inhabit", not "indwell". Sorry about that.
There's multiple passages that make it very clear how the Holy Spirit CANNOT enter unbelievers. Isaiah has gone too far with his biblical indolence.

Don't insult a child, he has zero understanding of scripture.

This could be in reference to Malachi 2:15 which says: "But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth." (NKJV)
The NASB and newer translations change the meaning of this verse to make it seem like not everyone has that remnant.

If the Scripture instructs us that we cannot be yoked or be together with an unbeliever (the Christian being holy and the unbeliever being unholy) by using Jesus and the temple as illustrations that nothing unclean can be with a holy God. As far as im concerned on this hererical premise, everyone is saved including unbelievers since "we all have the Holy Spirit" right?
So the holy Soirit was not poured out into all flesh but onto all Christians?
What is the seed planted then? What fruits does it grow to have?
Sounds like pantheism and a mix of universalism with a lot of confusion.

A Christian isn't willing to run the risk of undermining his faith. That is to say, at best he is selectively honest. And there's nothing respectable about that.
“But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against an house falleth. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: but when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”
Luke 11:17-26 KJV
John 14:7 says "The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."
The Holy Spirit is not in everyone; it specifically says the world CANNOT receive but it will be with you AND in you (those who believe and know Him).
It's father son and fellowship of the holy spirit. It's not Father' son and bible. If you see a guy with demons and gets deliverance and filled with the holy spirit because she was always a Christian.
the holy spirit is everywhere though... it's the Restrainer. the only thing holding back Evil from being unleashed.
Because he dwells within believers.
@@926paaja if the eyes of the lord are in every place beholding both good and evil that means hes everywhere.
If he searches peoples hearts that means he can enter their mind... it doesnt mean that they "have the holy spirit" but that's the point that author is trying to make.
@@926paaja paul was unsaved. Persecuting Christians and he appeared to Paul. And communicate with him and then after paul believed he was saved. Dont forget it's the spirit of God that draws people to him. "Behold I stand at the door and knock"
This is some sad & very bad theology which tends to happen in Charismatic & Pentecostal churches.
2 Timothy 4:3-4:
3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
If I could speak to all these ppl including Sam storm the questioning would as is: how can a saved born again believer have a demon in dwell them while at the same time be indwelled by the Holy Spirit? And with what power are you casting the demon out of you also could be indwelled by both? And why is he saying this is what Sam storm said not me who cares is Sam storm Jesus now?I sent it to Sandoval but no response yet
He didn't say that, your taking him out of context. You probably would start manifesting if you went for deliverance, most Christians who don't believe they cannot have demons are the ones who have them.
So, I'm curious... What exactly qualifies someone to teach about the Bible?
Isiah never resonated with me, something about him made me feel like he masquerades in light and is in fact controlled opposition being used to mislead Christians. Thank you for this!
