Hey guys, I’ve got a question. At the end of the SB they throw red&yellow confetti on the field from the Allegiant stadium sky, would the colors be different if the niners had won?
When you talk about dynasty, you talk about Brady, and the Patriots. He won 6 SBs with them over a twenty year perios, and appeared in four more. Sixty percent, which right now is the benchmark of NFL success. All the Chiefs/PM15 haters, use this as a metric by which to keep Brady in that GOAT position. Football is the ultimate team game. It is the most difficult sport to be successful in because it requires a team effort. No three or four men can make a team great, and no one man can ultimately control a game on his own. What we are seeing in Mahomes is a man who comes closer to being able to do that than any other has, or can. Brady won all seven of his titles with a great team around him, and no one is denying his greatness. Mahomes is in a league of his own, and requres no inclusion of Brady in the conversation.
Should have played it safe and went second. If you go first and only score a field goal then a touchdown gives the chiefs the win. Did they not think of that? Analytics or not, that was a bad call.
Dude I think Andy has a case to be made for goat coach. Every single other coach basically was tied to 1 qb foe their greatness. Andy never won the superbowl in Philly but his teams were always winning teams and he always had a winning record he had McNabb Vick detmer as qbs then goes to kc and has Alex Smith and mohommes and is in the playoffs every single year with them all and normally as a top seed in the conference championship. Don't get me wrong he had to get to 3 to be in the discussion and proba ly has to get to 4 to be seriously in the convo but his consistent body of work with multiple qbs for multiple franchises is impressive.
it’s only a matter of time until teams take the ball second and keep missing on the 2 point conversion. funny how all game long, no one goes for 4th downs and 2 point conversions but all of a sudden on the most important drive of the game the smart thing is to get ball second so you can go for it on 4th and a 2 point conversion.
Greeny speaks with certainty on things he doesn't know. The reason in College OT that you always goes 2nd, is after both teams have ball one time, the order flips on who goes next. There are analytics people that say taking ball first is right decision, because you get the ball 1st and 3rd...and the 3rd time game is over on FG or TD
Tbh all this three-peat talk from the chiefs and fans bothers me, even as a chiefs fan. It's so difficult to win one, as we saw this year, that you can't look ahead. They have to take it day by day, and just look to be the best on the day.
I think that’s what they’re doing, they are just stating their goal. They won back to back, saying they’re going for the 3 peat is the same as every other team saying “We’re going for the Super Bowl”. They aren’t looking ahead, it’s just their goal which every team has one at the beginning of the season.
Looking ahead would be saying 3 peat without winning one or saying this mid season without winning the one before you. Every champion says after they win one. Now the job is to win back to back. Since we went back to back now we're saying let's go for the three peat
KC could save up to $30 million by simply cutting MVS and Jawaan Taylor which is a strong likelihood. Add an extra $16 million in the NFL raising the cap, and thats nearly $50 million freed up. If Patrick Mahomes pushes salary to later in his deal, then there could be some free agent fireworks in KC as well. The Chiefs also have one of the youngest rosters in the league - about 6 months older (on average) than the youngest team, Green Bay.
@@lotusholder8942 Well you might be right that KC may not cut Taylor, but just keep in mind that Jawaan has the 3rd highest salary on the roster (behind Mahomes & Thuney) and is due $25 million in 2024. Plus, leading the league in penalties isn't great (especially the nature & timing of the penalties) which is mostly about discipline. Andy has historically let guys go that aren't very disciplined. If he is retained, don't be surprised if Veach asks him to take a paycut.
@@JetForceFive he didn’t even average a penalty per game so he definitely is disciplined… tha fact that the refs have had it out for him all season says more about his penalty total than his discipline
@lotusholder8942 We'll probably just have to disagree on this one. I'm not saying Jawaan is a terrible player, but if the goal is to clear cap to improve the team then you have to start with the highest salaries and compare it to that player's performance/production. Basically, based on performance, $25 million is a bit steep - compared to the money that most fans would prefer go to proven game-changers like Sneed & Jones.
@@JetForceFive so based on what u said, they should cut Taylor, they already finna lose Smith becuz he was on a year deal.. so now I hafta replace both tackles again! I highly doubt they go that route but I’m not in tha office so I don’t kno
Putting the Bills at 3rd favorite before they've even managed to address their massive cap deficit and plethora of players entering free agency is just insanity. I'm not counting the Bills out but as of right now we have no idea what that team is going to look like next year.
Cap hurts. Cap is why Chiefs had to let Tyreek go, why they had trouble working out a contract with Chris Jones, why they have no real name receivers, and why next year they will again struggle to keep key defensive players and may still wind up with no WR. This was the year, if any, for Bills to do it.
The Chiefs could definitely bring back both Chris Jones and Sneed if they decide to go all-in on the 2024 season, and they probably should with Jones and Kelce getting older and their rookie contract talent in their last year or 2nd to last year. When Mahomes reworked his contract at the beginning of the season, he did it in a way that the Chiefs could free up $37 mil in cap space if they restructure again for 2024. And that's just Mahomes' contract. Cutting MVS is another $12 mil. Cutting Justin Reid is another $10.5 mil. Plus the $23ish mil they're projected to have in cap space already. $82.5 mil at least to tag or resign Jones and Sneed, resign a few other players like Drue Tranquill, Derrick Nnadi, and Nick Allegretti, maybe Tommy Townsend too, and go after a good field-stretching WR.
I don't understand the difference in letting the other team dictate what you have to do or you dictating and forcing the other team to have to do something. If you score a touchdown, it puts pressure on the other team to have to score a touchdown. Its only looked at as a bad decision if it doesn't work because its really the same thing just vice versa.
Toughest gauntlet of playoff teams to win a SB? Two #1 seed, one on the road, #2 on the road and the highest scoring offense at Arrowhead. All top offenses and top defenses except Miami
No team has won 3 straight Superbowls in NFL HISTORY?? It should be Superbowl history. The Green Bay Packers won 3 straight NFL titles in '65, '66,67 The league is 100 years old.
Narative for both teams are simple. Chiefs narative: Chiefs a dynasty. Maholmes the next goat. Andy Reid next Belichick. 49ers narative: Kyle Shanahan cant win the big ones. Brock Purdy still game manager.
I doubt that the Chiefs will be able to keep Sneed and Jones both but I will say that people so far seem to be ignoring that the chance at a 3peat could lower some of the numbers people are asking for. Again this isnt a fairytale so its not like people will play for free or Patrick will restructure and take a lot less to keep the team together but I do think that for some people they may be willing to talk discount as long as that 3 in a row is on the table. Again I dont think it will happen because these players deserve that payday at this point but I think its something to consider
Ravens have the best roster in afc and the Bills were still the 2 seed even with all the injuries they had. Both teams should be pretty high on odds as long as they’re below the Chiefs.

Exactly 💯... he's WINNING it without a bunch of superstars, and TOP TIER role players... Idc what anyone says man... Edelmen was an All-Pro
Should have played it safe and went second. If you go first and only score a field goal then a touchdown gives the chiefs the win. Did they not think of that? Analytics or not, that was a bad call.
ahem... (clears throat...)
CHIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jason Kelce is my Roman Empire
it’s only a matter of time until teams take the ball second and keep missing on the 2 point conversion. funny how all game long, no one goes for 4th downs and 2 point conversions but all of a sudden on the most important drive of the game the smart thing is to get ball second so you can go for it on 4th and a 2 point conversion.
Defenses are usually gassed at that point, tho. See how easy Chiefs moved the ball on their last drive?
That defense was well rested, though. Had easily 10 minutes of rest. The offense moved up the field because of Pat. @malcolm2553
LET'S GO JEFF, KEYS LET'S GET MONEY!
It’s amazing that we can’t enjoy this win, before they start talking 3pete.
The Chiefs are 10-1-1 when considered underdogs.
They won’t cut Taylor… he actually had a good season despite the league picking on him penalty wise
Not going for it on fourth down is much worse than choosing to receive the kick-off
The Chiefs could definitely bring back both Chris Jones and Sneed if they decide to go all-in on the 2024 season, and they probably should with Jones and Kelce getting older and their rookie contract talent in their last year or 2nd to last year.
Peak viewership for Super Bowl was 202.4 million viewers.
I don’t believe they didn’t know the OT rules, PURDY KNEW. Could tell he was disappointed after being disrupted by Chris Jones!
Toughest gauntlet of playoff teams to win a SB? Two #1 seed, one on the road, #2 on the road and the highest scoring offense at Arrowhead. All top offenses and top defenses except Miami
Patriots raised the bar of the definition, but this is a dynasty in anyone's book. Not up for debate anymore.
Toms a cheater!!!! Mahomes does it the right way
🗣️🗣️🗣️FACTS!! Mahomes the real🐐
SUPER FACTS!!! 👌... And getting it done WITHOUT the Elitest of weapons
give up your done this week.
i can’t stand the chiefs, but it’s ridiculous that they’re not the odds on favourite to win next year …by a significant margin.
the defense was exausted, they could not go second, and put that defense right afetar a major drive from chiefs
Soccer still draws more viewers than nfl or basketball.....world wide that is.
No team has won 3 straight Superbowls in NFL HISTORY??
It should be Superbowl history.
The Green Bay Packers won 3 straight NFL titles in
'65, '66,67
The league is 100 years old.
To me it seem they don’t trust kittle! He was not a big factor all playoff long
Narative for both teams are simple.
Chiefs narative: Chiefs a dynasty. Maholmes the next goat. Andy Reid next Belichick.
49ers narative: Kyle Shanahan cant win the big ones. Brock Purdy still game manager.
Simply the truth
I’m sorry but I NEED one team from the south to get to next years Super Bowl. New Orleans Baby…. 🥰🥰🥰
They were holding KC to FGs all day. It’s not crazy to aim for the third possession
Why are the Ravens and Bills so high on favorites 🤨🤨
Ravens have the best roster in afc and the Bills were still the 2 seed even with all the injuries they had. Both teams should be pretty high on odds as long as they’re below the Chiefs.
@@michaelacker1617 I just feel like the Bengals, Lions, and arguably the Eagles should be over both of them
The rule was put in place because of the Chiefs Bills game. So of course the Chiefs know the rules.
You win the SB without a 1000yard receiver/rusher, led the league in dropped passes as well as penalties by the oline??!! The league is in trouble 🤣… GO CHIEFS!!!
Shannon just said lebum James is more of a box office sell out… mean while 100 million people just watched this super bowl and when lebum was in the finals the most of amount of people who watched him was 10 million during his heat finals. Shannon rides lebum
CJ bad man
I'm not really a fan of Mike McCarthy I really could take him or leave him but Dominique says there's a difference between McCarthy and Shanahan I say yes there's is McCarthy when he got to the Super Bowl his team won. So it's funny that Shanahan gets some kind of grace for being such a savant. Sean Payton also seems to according to most media knows all the secret knowledge when also has no more Super Bowl wins than McCarthy. 🤷♂️
They're in dire straits if they lose L'Jarius Sneed
The Red kingdom stands tall
lol. SF does nothing but lose the big games. And they keep on being the favorites?. Crazy
Chris Jones is the Patrick Mahomes of the defense!! WE HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO KEEP CHRIS JONES!! IF VEATCH LETS HIM GO YOU CAN FORGET A THREE PEAT!!!
They just beat the niners and they're the favorites!? Make that make sense!!? Going back to back they still look healthy and if anyone can do it i believe they can!!!! This kid is amazing i wish he was a Cowboy OMG that team would be unstoppable,. Congrats to the chiefs 🏆 💍
Being a favorite isn't always a good thing
Purdy isn't Him.
Mike McCarthy has priors when dealing with clock management and end game situations. That’s why we’d arrest him and throw away the key 😂😂…. The 49’ers coach a first time offender (I think)
Hes back! 5 yr contract.
Biggest Chiefs hater at ESPN Jeff Saturday.
Cause he sucked at coaching
Go get Harrison. Best chance. Telling u now
We ain’t selling him mahomes and Harrison the best players in the league
Rules? Last year everyone bitched it wasn't fair, now both teams have a chance to score, just what was bitched about, can't have it both ways!!!
We have to hear this all dam year man oh my God
Franchise Sneed and Sign Chris
Funny how the 49ers didn't know about the ot rules, but in the micd up version Fred Warner on the side talking about the rules with the team 💀 Excuses from the 49ers
CHIEFS SUPERBOWL CHAMPS
That’s the problem with younger coaches: over reliance on analytics and not enough lived experience, wisdom and common sense.
Yeah MJ was the only player in history that wanted it bad
If Pat Mahomes take baseball, please come play for the Texas Rangers
Jed York should have hired Mike Holmgren! Bill Walsh doesn't know what a Shanahan is! 😂🤣🤣 Bring Kaep back! " By any means necessary "
Only 2 times in OT AND SHANAHAN LOST THEM BOTH! CHOKES!
These odds will change by NFL pre season lol.
Niners being the favorite to win the superbowl next year is a JOKE , they will CHOKE!
Kyle took the ball because his defense was gassed.
Why are betting odds so thirsty for the Niners. Seems like betting collusion.
Vegas obsessed with Buffalo I don't get it how they're ahead of Cinci
Because Burrow can't stay healthy.
Joe cool needs to stay healthy otherwise I agree with you.
@@thenorthremembers4221 yea that's true if he's healthy I think they're the only AFC team that can hang with KC
