- Honda CRF300L Rally Camel Tank
Easy to install, convenient, and factory-looking fit. Occupying the unused space between the rear tire and the pannier rack, the Camel Tank keeps the fuel weight low, balances out the weight of your exhaust systems on the opposite side, and leaves your rear rack free for a duffle bag.
Although the CRF300L gets fantastic gas mileage, the stock 7.8L/12.8L tank (Regular/Rally) can only get you so far! The Camel Tank adds 5 liters (1.3gal) to your CRF's stock fuel capacity for an impressive total of 12.8L/17.8L (3.4/4.7gal)! With the extra 5L capacity, you’ll be able to commute a few extra days between fills, explore those intriguing backroads without worrying if you’ll have enough gas to get back, or just stop less on your road trip. Works with larger aftermarket front tanks too! Easy install with no cutting or drilling required. Camel Tank, Adventure Extended!
CT-300L Camel Tank Fits With These Pannier Systems:
The CRF 300L auxiliary fuel tank kit is intended to be used with rackless soft luggage such as Giant Loop and Mosko Moto Reckless systems.
*Please note that you will not be able to use the factory helmet lock, rear storage box, or pillion pegs with the tank installed.
Features:
-Holds 5 litres/1.3 gallons
-Does not require a fuel pump for transfer
-Does not require drilling of the factory fuel tank
-Will not interfere with a top box or duffle bag
-Includes tethered fuel cap
At this time, we do not have installation instructions available for the CRF300L bikes equipped with charcoal canisters!
*International Customers: (outside the US and Canada)
All extra fees such as taxes, duties, tariffs, brokerage, etc are not included in the purchase price. Customers are wholly responsible for the payment of these fees!

If you were to design and manufacture a replacement tool box that mounts in the same position, but made it larger and a bit more durable, I would definitely buy one. I’m pretty sure most other Rally owners would too...
At 43:06, with the lost spring, I think we've all been there.
I have a camel tank on my Honda Africa Twin. It’s a game changer.
Hola cómo estás ? Tengo una honda África twin l y estoy interesado en aumentar la capacidad de combustible. Me podrías dar el enlace del producto que instalaste ? De antemano muchas gracias. Saludos
I’ll get one of these as my first big mod if/when my 300 rally arrives
Where are you riding that you need so much fuel? Just curious...
@@airadaimagery692 outback Australia. I like to explore and not have fuel anxiety. For example, one of my favourite areas to camp is 220km from nearest fuel station. So I need 450km range to go there and back
@@slakk5093 Ah, gotcha! I wish I could visit Australia with my Rally, that would be so awesome...
will this work with the new acerbis 14l tank for the L? if you just get a longer hose to connect from the breather (now on the tank cap rather than the bottom of the tank) to the existing plumbing?
This tank would be great for my Honda Navi, the tank is so small this would give it the extra it needs.
Any Universal versions available?
That's great!
There is an "Unlisted" tag under the video's title by the way, I don't know if it's something you're aware of.
Haha, I was wondering if it was unlisted. I looked for this on RUclips by exact name after getting sent here the other day from their site, and couldn't find it.
It's silly this is unlisted, it also acts as advertisement that this product exists.
I have the same tank on my 2017 rally and people see it and are amazed that it got 2 tanks but most importantly some serious traveling can be done I absolutely love my 2017 rally that year was only year they full with full ohlins suspension best of best I got a EJK on it electronic jet kit waiting on full exhaust
So if your battery goes dead and needs replacing and you have been desiring more range this would be the time to do the purchase and install. As it seems like half of the install is getting at the battery. The cost of a shop install may equal the cost of the part if you want to keep that passenger peg. Not sure I would keep the peg,
would it be better to run the vent hose over the fender under the seat?
does this tank work with rackles luggage systems like the mosko moto reckless 80? or is the port blocked by the bag?
When the vent line is cut there is a plastic t piece as the line turns to head back to the right lower side of the bike. You can just see this t piece in the video before the line is cut. Another hose is joined to the t piece and heads back up. Is this some form of anti pollution thing or something else?
are you able to fit this to the Voge GY300 Rally as it has a fuel tank size of 11ltrs and could do with an aux fuel tank.
Does it fit a standard crf 300L? Non abs USA model
Is the bike which have the carboncanister?
You should send one to Itchy Boots, she would love it.
She has one ;)
@@CamelADV I don't think so. In recent videos we can see there is no extra tank on the left side of the bike. There is a video where she talks about not having time to do all the mods she want, maybe it was on the list.
She’s definitely got a rear tank now in the North Africa videos
44:27 - the fuel cap is slightly different on the CRF300L standard model and does not have that plate/screw, does that mean we don't have to worry about modifying anything?
All good with the regular 300L cap, no special mods needed.
Ahhh you guys need to make one of these that'll fit a KLX300. I'd buy it in a heart-beat, there's exactly 1 oversized tank option for the KLX, and it's barely than the original - $400 for a 0.7 gallon gain is not worth it at all. Really don't understand why they didn't at least make it a 3 gallon tank instead of a gimped 2.7 gallon tank. Insanity.
Now that I think about it - is it possible to adapt one of these to the KLX? Anyone know?
Camel - if you guys send me a tank I'll happily make a video cataloging my journey to figure if it can be done!
how exactly does this work? are you essentially relocating the vacuum point through the camel tank so the primary tank will naturally suction fuel into the main tank as it depletes? very cool
That is correct 👍
Yup.
Is this the exact same tank that fits the T7? Nice for you to double down on bike fitment with manufacturing!
The shape fit well. It cuts R&D costs drastically if we can double dip.
@@CamelADV nice! My T7 tank is performing & holding up well so far. Has some scars that speak to it’s durability. Game changer for range with that 100+km out back.
With the check-valve removed would the petrol leak if the bike was dropped?
The Camel Tank has it's own check-valve. Fuel from the main would flow into the Camel and it's check-valve keeps things from leaking on to the ground.
Mount it for crf300L is same ?
The Rally and non-Rally are the same.
Why not just cut the footpeg pin off and get a new one to hand to him? How much labor cost verses a new pin? Ride safe my 2 wheel friends.
Yes, there are options. We showed how to do it if you don't want to cut the pin.
429$ for a piece of the plastic can? Insane. Don't get me wrong it's a great design and product but way too expensive.
Just don't be poor.
I'm not poor and I'm not stupid ....to pay 429$ for plastic can.
@@PP-wz7mp Still poor 500 bucks is nothing.
Well worth it did it to my rally best investment
@@SamiNami stupid.....
So for the million $$ question. Will it fit the CRF300L standard? Hopefully to include the new 2023 which I have a deposit on? If it does you'll have my $$ real shortly.
Yes, it fits the standard 300L as well.
People realistically running out of gas on their 300's? I guarantee you when they're done with a ride they still got gas left and they still want more.
Yamaha > Honda
wheres the WR300R? id buy one if there was one
Omg yes a wr300r with a big bore kit to make it a 350 would be a weapon
