Some things that have helped to control my hairfall include: (1) I quit wearing ponytails because it leds to tension breakage. (2) I started massaging my scalp twice a week with liitleextra cocoonnion hair oil while bending over & holding my head inverted to allow blood flow to the scalp. (3) Covering my head while moving out to safeguard my hair from pollution. (4) Using mild shampoo again from liittleextra only to cleanse my hair.
I was facing hairfall and tried many shampoos, hair masks but this worked out so well. coconnioon hair shampoo and oil is actually the best.
Thanks for the tip doc. Keep up the good work.
My sleep schedule is a mess. I was young when my hair loss started, and it made me so anxious and depressed that I couldn't sleep. I need a combination of doxylamine, melatonin, Xanax and Tylenol PM to get three hours of sleep. I've been to a lot of therapists and psychiatrists, and I think anti-anxiety meds are helpful to an extent, but the best thing I've ever done for my mental health has been using finasteride (and eventually dutasteride) and oral minoxidil. Maybe other people's experience with therapy is different, but none of the ones I've seen have had any interest in helping me cope with hair loss. They could at least offer advice (head shaving, transplants or hair systems) but they don't. The best mental health doctor is my dermatologist because he prescribes hair loss drugs.
Started 1mg finastride a week ago, what's your opinion on only taking finas? My hairloss is barely visible i have curly and thick hair but the crown is starting to get thinner and a bit of a receding at the front, is taking earlier precautions the way to go? I have read about side-effects etc, but i'm willing to take the risk! I fully understand that hairloss can affect a persons' mental health and wellbeing, I hope you're doing okay brother take care of yourself.
Let me know how your results are going! cheers
I think finasteride on its own will probably prevent you from losing hair for a long time. I used it for 16 years before noticing that it wasn't as effective as it used to be. It's definitely the first drug I would recommend for androgenic alopecia. For what it's worth, I've also been using 2% Nizoral this whole time. I don't know whether it's beneficial for hair loss, but it's cheap and convenient, so there's no harm in using it.
Hii Can you help me out please ? How can I reach you .....?
I have Gmail and Twitter. It's the same as my RUclips username.
Do hair transplant because it's the only legit solution for hair restoration, everything else such as fin and min in most patients just slows down hair loss but doesn't regrow what you already lost therefore get hair transplant and keep taking fun if you aren't experiencing any sides
You don’t get Drs spending their own time explaining what’s going on except for these guys. Most appreciative of your time guys.
Doctor, can you please make a video on the importance of oils on hair ?
Whether we should use oil ? How to use them properly ?
Which oils are good (coconut oil, castor oil, etc) ?
Can you please also cover the effects of natural products like hibiscus on hair ?
Can you please mention the good and bad practices w.r.to oil application ?
Thanks.
Thank you sir
Thx for this I’ve been having painful stomach issues for 6 years now. Cannot sleep more than 4 hours without my stomach waking me in pain. And I just started losing my hair 2 years ago.
Are you still losing hair?

does finastride and dutastride has any affect on kidneys???
It feels like a dumb question but at my young age of 16 years, after 5 years of sleeping late, getting 2-4 hours sleep durring school days and sleeping from 2:00 or 4:00 am to 13:00 pm, is weeks of turning back the schedule with 15-30 min every 3rd night and re-adjusting it to 22 pm - 11 am, which will both keep me a good cycle, increase my energy and make me healthier reverse the effects of thinning hair cuased by the bad sleep? My hairline ain't affected but I have noticed a thinning.
Heart the comment to notify me if and when you have answered me. I don't always get notified about replies.
Thank uou
I'm 27 with alopecia crown area, I hope when I turn 50 something scientist can come up with some pill or something to grow fully your hair back 🙏
get on finasteride asap
Its called finasteride. It does work. And there is other medication that can grow hair back. Check out haircafe channel. He gives excellent info, and that's how I got my hair back.👍
Take finasteride + Minoxidi
@@Lee-1 im 51 and my life seems like I just started. Im having the best time of my life, and i got my hair back. Plus, im fit and im dating younger women. I didnt think this was possible. I must say, life is pretty good at 50s. That just my experience. It can happen to you too.👍😃

Is it possible that people moving around while they sleep (without realizing it) are rubbing their head against the pillow and causing hair loss? And is this common?
yeah lack of sleep can accelirate pattern hairloss
I have an important question I'm on Vina for a year though and plan to get pregnant with my wife Should I leave Alvina If pregnancy occurs, is the semen of a person used in us potentially harmful to the fetus?
Can you use minoxidil on beard and scalp in the same time ?
Yes
I have been on fin for roughly 8 months now. I had brain fog and sleep disturbances those side effects however resolved itself with time. But now the sleep disturbances came back. I don't drink alcohol or caffeine, I don't have any unusual stress whatsoever and I am just of age 21. Usually I take one mg of fin in the evening. Has anyone had similar experiences and found ways to cope with this? I really don't want to lower the dosage. I may try to take fin during the morning instead of the evening? And if nothing helps I guess there is no option but to lower the dosage?
Why do you not want to lower your dosage?
@@taydencornish I am aware that lower dosages can still be effective, but I really want to achieve the best effect I can get. Since I caught it early I really hope fin might give me the hair quality of my 18 y.o. self back. Everytime I look in the mirror now I just feel so happy knowing I can keep my hair and knowing fin might even improve it over time makes me feel even better. If I was to lower the dosage I maybe would lose my enthusiasm ^^
@@cruxXD what's your results 8 months in? ... very curious, i'm one week in, 27 years of age. 1mg a day in the morning... i read about taking it possibly 3 times a week... but i'm going all in from the start I guess. cheers
@@theyoungmessiah420 To be honest I did not try to take any accurate before and after pictures. Also I still had a full head of hair. I started noticing big amounts of shedding when I was 19 I think and my hair just looked thinner and of worse quality overall.
Right now my hair is still shedding but not as much as it used to. However now I feel good about it because I feel like on fin those hair will only come back stronger :')
When I was in Homeoffice during lockdown there were days where I would just sit at my desk in despair, running my hands through my hair to watch it fall. Fin really brought peace to my mind which is probably the best aspect of the treatment.
In regards to looks I feel like my density returned a little not yet like I had it at age 18 but I mean it's just been 8 months so far. And honestly I am already happy if fin allows me to keep my current hair :)
Does sleep timing matter as much as sleep duration? I.e. if I sleep during the day and stay awake at night?
It's definitely harder to get quality sleep during the day. Your body through a lot of external signals such as sunlight has an internal clock which will be hard to fool. If you sleep in a pitch dark room with low temperature (16°C is said to be ideal), wake up and do luminotherapy right away you might be able to improve the sleep quality. But from what I've heard sleeping during the day is pretty bad for your body long term.
That's the wrong process bro
Because nature GOD has made this world differently like for work day is suitable and for rest and recover night is preferred and if your sleeping from 11 pm to 9 am Thats The Best sleep for over all body recovery and good hairss.
No, as a human your body has a circadian rhythm that should be respected. We should be getting ready to sleep at sunset and and sleeping throughout darkness for optimal results. We need this because it’s embedded in our biology through evolutionary adaption.
Sheesh and I work night shifts :/
Sir, used finasteride in past for about 6 months, but it developed gyncomestia in me. So i left finasteride for some time but gyncomestia never receded and hairfall increased, so i again started 1mg per day for past 3-4months and i think it again increased my gyncomestia. What should i do.....please suggest.
Maybe try 0.25mg I'm on dutasteride tiny bit nipple pain but not gyno less ejaculated by half but on finasteride I got nothing
gynecomastia can be treated efectively with tamoxifen or raloxifen. Look up the data if you are interested.
No need 1mg per day ,it’s too much…..just take Monday wed and Friday 1 mg ok
Check out this show's videos on finasteride dosing. They say all you need is 1 mg three times per week (monday, wednesday and friday) as another person in this thread already said.
No.
How does sleep apnea influence it? Can sleep apnea started at either 10 or 14 years old cause balding from 14?
lol
If have sleep apnea, it's definitely affecting your sleep. So it would be good to treat that. CPAP devices are effective. As for balding at 14, that's a bit young to start on finasteride in my opinion, because lowering DHT can affect your member growth
@@createachanneltopost well, im in my 20s now, but i wonder if it affected me. As for finasteride, i’m afraid of permanent sides
