I once had a static caravan near to a farmer who kept sheep, and I went up to throw some rubbish in the on site bin one night, and it was next to a farmers field who kept sheep, and suddenly sheep started to go mad so I went and looked over the fence, and i had a torch with me to because of going up to the bins on site,I know what I saw but when the light of the torch shone at him or her it ran off,and apparently it's not the time that this happened with the farmer that I've been told since 👍

Thanks for your message. I’ll use this for a video. If it’s okay by you. Can I use your name? Or maybe anomalously

@@Bigcatuk Of course it is,but the is something else I've seen.. the is a lane a steep one that leads up to the farm but when you get to the top you have to follow it to your right because on the left is the farm, and down that lane the are two stiles opposite eachother the one on the left doesn't have much of a verge but the one on the right does but not much bigger, but when you go over that stile on the right the is a hedge row running down towards the caravan site virtually the same on the left but with the verge row continuing up hill, and it had rained the evening before not a great deal but enough to soften the ground, and it was in the afternoon the following day when I went for that walk up the hill then followed it round to the right towards where the Stiles are, where I seen a paw mark in the damp mud and no way it came from a big dog because in my job i use tape measure every single day that paw print i would say it was at least nearly 3 inches across and the same from heal toe, and yes you can use my first name but not my surname 👍

The campers felt 'the ground vibrate' with every step the cat took? It doesn't sound like a cat of any sort to me, especially if it was circling them. on the prowl.....to eat them all! (And the real David Attenborough never rattled through a script like that!). And no. I am not a sceptic, I have seen a Lynx type cat in Wales in the 80's and a black leopard cross the road at the bottom of Stick Hill near Edenbridge in Kent in 1992.

@@Bigcatukyes sure! Im a keen bushcrafter and have been for most of my 56yrs, i live in the West Midlands and i stealth camp out in various locations nearby, i was in Hopwas woods one evening by where i live, id say about about 8yrs ago now, had a usual normal camp and fry up 🍺 and in the morning i get up about 5 ish and being summer it was light, i get up early cus im camping where im not supposed to be right on the edge of the woodland and right next to that is a mile of pig enclosures in open fields and as i was looking i saw what i now know to be a Caracal, at first i thought it was a puma walking along the fence line of the pig enclosures periodically looking up at me before jumping into the brush and out of sight, after some research (RUclips) i believe it to be a Caracal and not a Puma, its ears and short tail gave it away, i was so stunned that i went out and brought game cams and set them up near there hoping for the money shot but nothing was ever captured, i have no clue what other folks think but i DO know we have big cats and i also believe puma sightings are actually Caracal populations

Yes when I had my own sighting in 1997 there were no mobile cameras on phones otherwise I would have had the greatest photo opportunity ever

@@patgleeson8405 Sorry, a clear picture with a phone? You must be joking and why has no one so far obtained clear footage with a trail camera, people all around the world in countries that have native wild cat species, obtain very clear footage of wild cats of all sizes all the time, how is it that researchers, conservationists, amateur naturalists and others can obtain fantastic trail camera footage of wild pumas in various US States, but no one can film alleged pumas or leopards in the UK, you only have to search RUclips to find examples of puma trail camera videos. I am afraid this is the main reason I am a non-believer, cats, even Scottish Wildcats don't avoid trail cameras, cats will brazenly walk past trail cameras without being in the least bothered and walk up and investigate an sniff them, I once had a trail camera out in Zakouma National Park in Chad for just a few nights and at night a Serval Cat walked right up and sniffed the camera and rubbed against it, there's no mistaking that it is a Serval Cat, it completely defies any logic, that there is no trail camera footage of any of these alleged cats that are claimed to roam the UK, why not?

@@Bigcatuk No dashcam in '92 when my leopard crossed the road. But when its nose reached the white line at the edge of the road, the rear quarters were about three quarters of the way to the central white lines
