If ever I heard a spine-chilling heap of KAK (Crap) this is/was IT!!! First Big cat sightings, mixed cut and paste jobs of Cheetahs, House Cats ,Jaguars and Leopards. Secondly two of your Jaguares was Leopards on the banks of the Sabi River in the Kruger National Park in South Africa-South African. Please rather tell us the Aliens from Mars has landed on Times Sqaure!!!! 🤣😂😀😪
Hi if you cant believe what your eyes saw 40 years ago or today thats your problem. Maybe you should have more trust in yourself. Why are you here pretending you believe that 'they are possibly here' yet gaslighting other peoples sightings and trying to make them feel that they 'imagined' it? Im certain most sightings from people are genuine and they know the difference between a household cat or big dog. If you cant believe your own experience why not just go watch something else and stop undermining others.
Even that footage from 2:50 to 3:16 still doesn't guarantee that it was a big cat. People will say, _"But look how big it was compared to the fencing post behind it."_ But where that cat was walking, the ground was slightly higher than the fence line. So it's obvious that it would look taller. All footage like this needs is for someone of who's height we know, to walk along that same path that black cat walked. And that is where perspective comes into it. You need something with a guaranteed size or height to be where the cat was. If you take footage that's zoomed in, then it'll chance the perspective of anything behind it making the background seem a lot closer than it actually is. Even after my sighting some 40+ years ago, I'm still 99% sure there are big cats in the UK. But I've yet to see any footage that'll guarantee to me, that there are big cats. As I've said before. I can discredit any other animal that we know of that lives in the UK to what I saw. And removing all of those animals points to it being being one animal. A big cat. But I'll still never say, with my hand on my heart, that I saw one. It's just more likely that I *DID* see one. Great video tonight. But still leaves those tantalising questions? Is it? Was it? 🤔🤷♂
Maesteg and port talbot in South Wales in the Welsh valleys there is been sightings 👌👌

@@Bigcatuk I have seen one not long ago on a mountain bike ride too back in Sept time too 👌👌
@@KevinPowell-n5v _"... one not long ago on a mountain bike..."_ Big cat on a mountain bike? That's impressive. Though they do have great balance! 🤔😲 😅🤣😂 👍
@@thezanzibarbarian5729 no I was on a bike ride
@@KevinPowell-n5v Take no notice we all understand what you were saying. These pathetic 'bots' are all over here trying to discredit what people say. I posted comments on another site recently (stating why I think they are living here in the wild and the reasons) and was attacked by to two of them even insulting me.
Yes Defo Fav
I’ve seen eight or ten of the big black cats and four or five black bear sightings in Southeastern Kentucky in the last three years.!
Why do they show pics of spotted jaguars while calling them the black variety?
Amazing story , its a mystery i love ! 🙂
video is unmitigated bullshit.
I really really enjoy listening to big cat sightings in England but would love to hear recent stories.
Will do as you ask. Next video. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts
The Peak district encounter...a jaguar approached a family in broad daylight....followed them to their car and then circled the vehicle...sounds implausible.
They are all told to me and they are all as they told.
In the first encounter did the farmer subsequently take photos or casts of footprints of the jaguar for conformation/evidence of what he thinks he encountered in the moonlight?
Love your video’s and about time someone actually has been showing the fact that they are here
Again like
lol what's funny to me is here in Africa, we know we have big cats. When we're in our car, we're safe. It takes a rhino or at least a buffalo to really damage a car. The way they grab each other in terror inside the vehicle haha. Like the kitty is going to walk over and pull on the car door's handle. For me, the awesome part about these stories could be that there might be some predators left in the British isles yet. But the horror element this channel ran all the way home with is not working for me lol. Imagine being afraid of something 2 feet tall while inside your land rover or jaguar. We get it, you don't have mountain lions like the states, jaguars like Brazil, or lions like South Africa, but come on. Grow a pair.
I was passed by a big black Jaguar looking cat and it walked passed my car and then I got out within a couple of yards away and watched it walk away. Africans STAYING IN THERE CARS.. poofs. Scaredy-cat… LOL
Next time your in your car maybe you should have a teddy bear in there with you to hold.. LOL
Whats with the shitty sock images! Stopped viewing!
A great collection of recounted facts. 👍
❤
If i had to guess why people over the years have sighted big cats in the British countryside it would because of hunting sessions where creatues whether it be big cats or even small bears etc have been purchased off travelling circus's by certain country gents (bored of fox hunting)in order to be pursued, tracked and killed on night hunts. This sounds bonkers i know. It was done about 25years ago by a landowner and his cronies up on the belmont moors with wallabies, one wasn't caught and found in the woods in Rivington area few days later. There was talk at the time by a son of one of the men that took part it was a regular thing. There is a youtube video a while back of a guy filming himself walking in English woodland and seeing a bear running through a field some distance away very shortly before 3 landrover discoverys speeding past in its general direction looking to be on a "grouse shooting hunt"
That's a really intresting thought .. AI have never really considered this. But yes There's plenty of toff knob's that do this sort of thing,,
Great account of your big cat encounter. 👍 I feel somewhat jealous as you can 100% guarantee that you _"Did"_ see one. I'm still 99% sure I did see one as there is nothing else in the UK countryside that I know of, that matched what I saw. Not a dog, fox, deer or anything else. Mine still has that 1% mystery to it as I can't put my hand on my heart and 100% say it was a big cat. _"But... If it was NOT a big cat... Then what was it I saw?"_ You saw your big cat for far longer than I saw my sighting. Which lasted no more than 10 seconds, if even that. And in virtual darkness bar the light of the August moon and the lights from the fullbeam of my cars lights. As for your evenings spot of tranquil, relaxing fishing? _"Umm... Nah...! I can go fishing another evening... Though... Maybe I'll find somewhere else to fish!_
i know for a fact one was shot and killed around 2003/2004 in east sussex. After a week of hunting it overnight. it was covered up by the people that done it to avoid a media circus as we had previously had some very bad media activity a year or to before in the location.
This is My Encounter And I can 1000000% Guarantee All This is Fact And I have never heard of anyone else Getting such a close up sighting and As at the time It,s still As clear to me now,, Thanks for your comments
Being a bit pedantic, Puma and mountain lion are the same cat, as is the catamount. The name for the species is Puma Concolor and despite their size, they are not considered a "big cat" as they do not belong to the Panthera family. They are more closely related to house cats and cheetahs (also not considered a big cat) than to a Jaguar or leopard.
Tell me more. Are you a person who works with these?
I've not worked directly with them. I used to be an avid outdoorsman, spending around 80 days a year in forests and mountains. Before I enter an area, I will do a lot of research into the flora and fauna of the area, and spend extra time studying the things that could hurt me. Predators, poisonous plants, weather patterns, etc. I've encountered Mountain lions a few times, along with bear, bobcat, martins, fishers, wolverines, coyotes, and wolves. None of my encounters, save the bobcat, were close enough to be an immediate threat, 100+ft, but close enough to draw both of our attentions to each other. I do not consider myself an expert and apologize if I've inadvertently positioned myself as one. I'm just an outdoorsy nerd.
@@DBerwick Have You Ever Seen a wild cat in the UK. Are you Located In the Uk?
@@Bigcatuk I am in North America. I do have some relatives in the UK that tell stories, but nothing beyond that.
Whisper get in here😡 The purge doesn't start until dark🐐
An interesting collection. I'm in need of more information on these stories. _Or are they anecdotes that possess more truth, then tale?_ 🤔🤷♂
They did catch a live puma, it was elderly, they called it felicity and put in a Highland Park zoo, and I believe lynx have also been caught and shot, so how many more are out there?
Finally have a THANKS button then. Hope people start supporting for all the years put in?
I hope so too!
Lol 😂
You'd think the BBC or some other nature show would have found these "big cats" by now and aired them for all of us to see. This is just Bigfoot from Temu
@@temparalflux914 I live in the suburbs/countryside last night something set my flood lights off a just as they when off I heard our 6 foot fence rattle as a big cat jumped off it , it could only have been a big cat or a human to make the wood fence make that noise, I don’t think it was a person I think it was a big cat, a normal fat cat though I don’t think there bloody big cats or they would be on peoples cameras
@@kingkong81icloud Yeah considering (as you said) the amount of door cameras, CCTV and the size of the UK wilderness all point to these big cats being a fantasy.
@temparalflux914 really sorry for your negative response. I can confirm with you that at least one was wild in Oxfordshire, As I was confronted by it from 1-3 meters away and I had no difficulty in seeing it in totally clarity. It was exactly what loads of other people had and continue to see. Big black cat. Similar to black Jaguar. Thanks for your input..
It's a leopard 🐆 correct
Pumas
The big cat that I witnessed was not a Puma. But more like a leopard or Jaguar. It had very stubby legs but very very muscular and thick. The tail was the same very long but thick. Leopards’s are evolved to climb tree’s and this was definitely one designed for this. Anyway the thing walk passed my car whilst daylight and also less than a meter away. So I had a extremely close up and perfect view. And I’ll tell you this wasn’t a Puma or a mountain lion. But almost identical to a leopard But also very much body parts like a Jaguar with stubby legs and long tail. Thanks for your message.
Pumas
Most of them are leopards rather than cougars and possibly mix of the two but jaguars impossible they would have already made themselves known
Great set of small -stories- -narratives- recountments. Can't really use the first two words as they pertain to them being false.
Fantastic
Thank you! Cheers!
Good footage
MR MANNERING 😮😮😮😮
DONT Panic MR MANNERING 🎉
Nice video. Add Jaguars to the list of big cats that I do not want to see, face to face, in the UK. Tigers and African Lions. 😀👍
Fascinating ❤
Good video. Not sure about the animated wolf at the beginning, though I see what you were pointing at. _But at least no Cheetahs!_ 😀👍 As for my belief and my story I gave to you. I'm 90% sure there is something out there. All I know is, what I saw was _NOT_ a dog. But if it wasn't a dog. Then what was it? And as I can't hold my hand on my heart and say, _"I definitely saw a puma that night."_ Then it still leads me to speculate or question, what was it? So... Having a science upbringing with my dad _(RIP)_ being a Doctor of Biology and one of my older brothers being a Doctor of Entomology, I always look at things through sceptical scientific eyes. As such, when I was what it was, I start to rule out what it wasn't or what it couldn't have been. However. Even though everything that lives in the UK that I know of and have seen has been ruled out, it still leaves me with that question mark over what I saw.
Thanks again buddy
I’m the lucky one I’ve seen one up close
Me too saw the big cat walk through a paddock in Cornwall without a care in the world had another domestic cat to the right of me to gauge size was at least 5 times bigger than the moggie
Yes We are extremely lucky as we have seen one each. I saw mine walk passed my car passenger side door when I was at a standstill. In daylight so about 1-2 meters away. Can’t be clearer than that 💤

Are you the real David Attenborough?
@@tinabarber1385 obviously I am………Not David. Thanks for your message
About fifteen years ago, when I was living on a big arable farm in Norfolk, I saw a large black cat emerge from the standing maize, which is left standing to provide cover for pheasants. I was sitting up in bed, with a cold, gazing out upon a very large ploughed field and there was snow on the ground, so this animal was clearly visible. It stood about halfway up the maize, so definitely too big to be a domestic cat. And it didn't move like a domestic cat. It walked a little way along the edge of the cover, and then slipped back into the maize when it heard the gamekeeper's vehicle coming up the track. I am certain it was a panther. There would certainly be plenty of food on a huge farm where pheasants are released for shooting.
I hadn't previously thought about Lynx or Bobcat being in the UK. Pumas, Black Leopards _(Panthers.)_ and Leopards definitely. After all, if you're a rich in the 1960's and wanted a _"big cat"_ as a pet to show off, which one would you be least likely to buy out of the five I just mentioned? Probably the Lynx or Bobcat due to their smaller size over the big three. Puma, Panther and Leopard. And out of those big three cats, the least likely to buy would probably have been the Puma due to it's more sombre markings. You'd more likely buy either the Leopard for its stunning yellow and black spotted markings or the Panther. And the Panther... Well... Just because it is a Panther. *But I do like the thumbnail of the Panther for these recent videos.* It clearly shows that even though it's just a big black cat, you can still see it's Leopards black spot marking on it's black coat. As for sceptics saying that the climate of the UK not being suitable for big cats? I disagree. Lynx, bobcats and Pumas wouldn't find cold unbearable. If they can live in Canada, then the UK's going to be a doddle. And as for hunting. None of them would find that difficult. There's masses of small game out there. Rabbits hares and all manor of rodents. Game birds and just birds. Both Foxes and young deer would also be easy prey. And for Leopards and Pumas, adult deer too. Though probably not the Red or Sika Deer. But we have Fallow and three other smaller deer in the UK. Big cats may take the odd sheep. Especially if it's recently been sheared. But regardless of what people say, big cats do not like wool. It's not like the fur and hair of the other prey species and is more likely to clump up into a ball in its digestive system if they ingest too much of the stuff. So when farmers find a dead sheep that's been preyed upon or died of other causes and has been eaten by wild life, there is wool scattered all over the place. Just as when you find a dead large bird. All the feathers have been plucked out. As for big cats being elusive. I used to have cats. If we had someone come on our driveway and we were all in doors, the cats would alert us to someone being around and if that person knocked on the door, the cats would slink off. I've been in the front garden with our cats and when someone came along to talk, I'd look about and the cats would have vanished. Cats are really, really good at hiding and keeping unseen. If they don't want to be spotted, they won't be. Plus they have incredible night vision. So they'd be out at night hunting when we're all asleep and curled up asleep during the day when we're up and about.
what cats did you have?
@@soccergalsara Oh! I see what you're thinking. They were not big cats. Just domestic cats. I was just proving a point that domestic cats have been domesticated for over 2,000 years but they've not lost none of their hunting ability. So why would any big cats offspring released in that 1976 purge on keeping wild animals in the UK, have lost their hunting ability when they're most likely the offspring of a wild caught cat of kitten from no more than 200 years ago?
@@thezanzibarbarian5729 haha i realised you may have meant that after reading it a second time, thanks haha
I'm not bothered with Leopards, Lynx or Puma's stalking the shadows in the UK. But I don't want Tigers stalking about the place. I draw a line with those apex predators.
Yeah, having leopards and Pumas living in the shadows of Britain is one thing, but having tigers in Britain, now that's a whole other matter
@@arkprice79 I'm not scared of Tigers, but ever since I can remember, I've always had this feeling that if I'm going to get grabbed by any of the big cats, it's going to be a Tiger. It's almost like a premonition. I just hope it doesn't come true 'cause Tigers bite hard!!
