    I was 7 when this came out and it was one of the first games, along with Final Fantasy IV, that really showed me how serious and artistic video games could be. It was one of the first that I was able to get through by myself as well and I still love it 25 years later! The music is so good.

    This game embodies how I think a video game should play. You start with a very simple gameplay style that is easy to grasp, then you unlock more as you play. This game took it to such an extreme that it made unlocking each new aspect of the game exciting. Even if it was some random character, I was all over them trying to figure out the puzzle behind them.

  • @muddyfalcon

    I played this game all night to stay up for a brain scan at the Mayo clinic in Rochester Minnesota. I will never forget it! Listening to this soundtrack is so nastalgic. It was such a difficult time in my life when I was young, and this game was such a perfect parallel to my life. I took my life about six months later at 17 years old. I went into another dimesion within myself as my brain dies, experiencing a replicate universe within the brain, in time dialation. It is actually still the year 1994, but light still plays out it's quantum course. Soon my brain will cease being able to simulate this existence. I will then be reconnected with the original universe I came from. If somehow someone saves me as I lay there dead, then when I come back I will know of the entire future up till now.

I dedicate this post to a dear friend that I unfortunately haven't seen in years and he unfortunately passed away in his sleep and his roommate found him. I couldn't imagine come across that😢. RIP Draknar Everhate, Aaron Mayfield. Til next time. PS thanks for letting me borrow FF3, I didn't get to complete it but that will change; also wise decision not letting me borrow Chrono Trigger. Okay, so when I used to play SoulBlazer back in the day, sometimes when I turned the game on and the gigantic logo was scrolling across the screen, the music sounded like it was skipping. The opening percussion tripped over itself. It didn't happen every time, just sometimes. There was nothing wrong with the cartridge, and that was the only glitch I ever experienced. Anybody know what might have caused this?

    • @hidejico588
      @hidejico588 3 года назад +1

      Mine does it too, lol. Maybe the code is *just barely* fast enough to run on the SNES or something. Maybe when it heats up a little, the SNES loses a CPU cycle or two and we get some skipping? I dunno. I wondered about it, too. X'D

    Here listening to this awesome soundtrack after the announcement of Actraiser being revived and hoping this game AND the sequels get brought back with it now that SE remember Enix had some amazing shit before the merger.

    Has anyone documented the main theme variation?? I dont know how to triger it but sometimes the into song begins slower and without the drums, it kind of builds up some additional epicness

    Just when I thought I became an agnostic, all I need to hear is 3:07 and I'm kneeling to a God I never knew, yet they were so ingrained into my brain i must worship. I suppose this is spirituality without religion. No church has called to me like this song, and for this, I must listen deeply to understand The Master.

      God is all around us. God is in everything we see, and you don't have to be a Christian to believe. This game reminds me of that.
