Hey man, I'm looking to buy that pedal for the MIDI sync actually. But instead of connecting to my computer, I wanted it to be MIDI synced with my Dave smiths Prophet REV 2 (synth). Do you know if it could work? Thanks
As long as the Prophet is sending out standard Midi clock, it should work. The TL doesn’t really care what is sending to it, it’s just going to line up with what it receives.
Hey! Quick question; if you were to record a guitar loop using looper fonction of the Timeline Strymon would the looper sync to Abelton's midi clock? Thanks
Well, if the Timeline was synced to the click from Ableton, and you were manually recording the loop by tapping the buttons on the Timeline with your foot, the delay in the looped recording would be at the proper tempo. But if you're asking if the loop on the Timeline would automatically snap to beat one perfectly when you tap your foot to end the loop or start it once it's recorded, I think the way to accomplish that would be to automate the record and playback through Ableton Midi controls - ruclips.net/video/KSrmeonK8pA/видео.html
I actually do too, they’re super fun to do manually to create textures or weird ambient noises. But if you’re using Ableton to change tempos between songs, it can be a weird time for that sound pop up. I don’t want it happening unintentionally :-) In the time since I posted this video, I’ve gone to using a Helix, but the same thing applies. There’s a setting in Helix you have to turn off so that it suppresses the delay analog artifacts.
Any guides for how to do this with logic

@@scottnaylor2786 Awesom thanks
How do I do this on the mobius?
Can't say from experience, but I'd bet it's very similar process.
Pretty handy! Thank you!
thanks

But.... I like the spaceship noises =]
