The Surron Ultra Bee is the new member of the Surron electric dirt bike family. The bike has been popular for its size, weight and performance. Being that this is an extremely affordable electric dirt bike, it does need some modifications to make it competitive to other dirt bikes off road. We have been building our Ultra Bee in different stages for different riders and budgets.

This battery seems to solve the range problem for most riders. At $5099 it's an insanely expensive upgrade (which doesn't include the cost of the controller), but it's good to see the range limitations being solved. Hopefully the price will come down over time on these batteries. I'm hoping to buy one of these within the next 6 months :)) can't wait for more content.

Is it possible, and easy, to setup custom power output settings with the EBMX X-9000 Controller & EBMX 80.5v 73Ah battery? In the vid it sounds like the lowest 15kw setting is too much for the single track you're riding. If you can change the power output levels, to say 10, 12, 15kw, can that be done on the bike through the display? Or do you have to connect to a computer? Hopefully not by directly editing text/data files. And great vid, thanks!

I’m a single father and want to be able to make memories with my son on his Stomp EBox 2. I’ll mainly be using it on fields, green lane and have the option to go on MX Tracks if needed. Excellent video ECR! Impressive range for sure. My question is. - Is this only the beginning for battery support for the ultra bee? What I mean by that is, is 30kw 81v just the tip of the ice berg..? Given ultra be is a new bike to the market. Will we be seeing even better batteries given the R&D just needs time. Example: 90+v batteries pushing 35-45KW, of course a new motor will need to be fitted.. but would love to know because $5k on a battery I would spend it but would be upset to see even better one released down the line, with that amount of change out of my pocket I would want the best battery out there haha!

Thanks that’s the first I’ve heard on that battery /controller,, I would obviously have liked to see if just the controller uograde with stock eng/batt is sufficient or even beneficial and also one with the upgraded engine , and stage three combo, though to be completely honest the fact that everything in Australia has an extra 20-25% tax cause i things cost them that much more to import . So at the cost of all the upgraded battery controller engine , 6K actually 6600 with tax plus shipping and the 6500 for the bike and then uograde wheels Shocks and handlebars and hey look at me and my neon glowing lifted truck transformed into an ebike graffix package that’s at or close to the cost of an 80hp slackrg, but I guess purchasing a light bee frame and abs frankenbuilding an ultra light bee might bee cool se you’ll have all those extra parts sitting on the garage collecting dust cause there’s no market need for them at all.
The issue might also be warrantee or customer support issue when building a bike with several different companies that prolly cancel each other’s warrantees out, while stark is well supported, and that’s 100 of the bike that you prolly couldn’t uograde less you wanted ohline shocks or a newer pair of super light Wp air shocks, for preference,, oh well prolly some actual graffix for the starks borin graffix dept. but Heyy they’re rollin of the production line and not from china so that info itself is impressive.
Also both bikes use Panasonic batteries though ebmx should promote who they use cause that matters. Weather the batteries gonna go up in flames at some point cause they got their lithium batteries off of the wish app. From a company called Panasonik made from 20 random different makers from unknown sources thatvare relabeled. Cause they charge an extreme margin for their batterie so they should be warrenteed and built with name brand batteries that have a known successful track record. Otherwise just go to eBay and buy a batterry building kit with Surron parts like interfaces and converters from luna cycle , cause the it’s not like building a controller.
Basically after all the aftermarket parts and costs is it at ir around the cost of a stark varg? And if so is it better. Or is it close enough but so much cheaper that the uktra bee stage three is a better buy? Or is stark that much better even if it’s still a few thousand more the difference is worth it for the snark barg, it’s name so weird that’s the best I can come up with.. but really their decals are limp dik style..
maybe they don’t need ktm raging in your facial intensity but somethihg more than just writing stark varg like your autographing your name which can have its place in the corner or afterthought or straight up front and center but in a style. Thats screaming who you are while moving fast and makes the bike look like it’s moving faster then our eyes can keep up with while stopped. Plastic in red or plastic in white with aftermarket part style and size stickers if your brand doesn’t cut it,, not for the most powerful most expensive supa duos cross ever..
Being minimalistic and Sheekblike the ceo should not be exorsssed in the bike in anyway, that’s the last thing that’ll attract mx riders to wqnna try a spin on the varg.they’ll look at it like a slick way of them trying to kill their 2 stroke!!

Impressive that you can get so much range from such a small package! My Storm Bee can do close to that - around 60km (37 miles) on the stock battery while beating it off road (less mountainous), but it is way heavier. Since I can do 100km (60 miles) in the city, I expect this could do even more 👏
Unfortunately in EU, I am not sure if you would pass the tech expertise without the main display working, so all of these mods make the bike non road-legal and also a bit too expensive. But at 90kg it will stay at the top for certain applications for a long while.
