So, so glad Mitch ( my personal favorite) had a chance to shine as his voice is just so effortless and perfect for the song. I fell in love with this group 10 years ago. Yet somehow this song still took me by surprise. It’s ethereal. And rich, somehow simultaneously. Kevin said in a live stream that this arrangement was intricate and difficult, but they were happy with the result. Scott and Mitch were both beyond their normal perfection.

And Mitch wow everytime I hear him I cant I cant even speak. I have been listening to Pentatonix since 2015 and evertime I hear them sing any song I have no words. This is probably my favorite Christmas song they have ever sang. It is definitely in the top 2 for my favorite Pentatonix songs. Number 1 being Thank you and number 2 being The prayer. Starting with PTX Harmony, then angelic Mitch took my breath away, then Scott coming in with the flawless Italian to melt my heart, Matt Sallee singing in his grown man bass (full, yet soft?How?) Kirsti looks and sounds like an angel too! Love her vibrato in all the right places! And Kevin doing all the right things to make it all come together. I've listened to this song, by quite a few people often. This hit me like a ton of bricks. I cried,was speechless and smiling all at the time, I've also felt like all the words were so clear and heard deep down for the first time. All I can say is damn, they just hit one of their mountain tops.

This was my favorite of Scott. The bass and beatboxing were OUTSTANDING!! Kirsten and Mitch will always be Kirsten and Mitch. Incredibly beautiful rendition. Celine and Bocelli aren't ever an easy cover.
