    I'm in Salvador now with my gf & we're enjoying the jazz festival. The ppl are great & love see natural looking blk women. I seen police in every corner in the touristy area and felt perfectly safe walking at night in Rio Vermelho and Barra beach.

    Having visited both the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul) and the northeast (Bahia and Pernambuco), I can say that the northeastern region tends to be more welcoming and friendly towards people of color. However, it's worth noting that there is also a significant Black population in Porto Alegre, for example.

    I've been to Brazil 2 times, only to Rio de Janeiro. The feeling you get in Brazil of just being another guy is literally so freeing. You can walk around by yourself and not feel like people are avoiding you. You can make GOOD friends so quickly. You have endless amounts of outdoor activities happening daily.
    God, I really want to move to Brazil. I think I'll hit up Amar for real estate.

      Not everyone’s experience. Some have said women purposely grabbed their pocketbooks when they came around. Also no blacks on tv. The blacks there for the most part are poor and live in the hills. You didn’t move around a lot there nor other parts of South America

      @@TonyMac1 S. Africa, the ANC has been a disaster. The wealth gap is the same as under apartheid with a handful of blacks doing very well. Definitely more than under Apartheid, but not enough. The power situation is a disgrace. Accepted some American's advice to put corporations into the Constitution. It's shameful that even with black folks in charge there has not been more change!
      At leasst in Brazil, the Black people are not running the government!

      It's all a mindset. They explained that there is racism in both countries, he just chooses to ignore it in one and feel victimized in another. And the reason why its so easy for him to ignore it in another is because his socioeconomic class shifts between the two.

    I love Brazilian people. I went to Rio de Janeiro to study abroad in college. Very beautiful people Brazilians are very friendly, kind, and boy they are party animals 😂😂😂 My roommates in college were Brazilians we partied all the way til graduation love ya'll ❤❤❤❤

      Very much so as well as the brother. One thing people miss sometimes is to think that if someone does not speak English they may not be smart. This woman is clearly very smart and thoughtful. You can hear it in her opinions and how she responds. She is not just rushing to answer but gives answers that are all encompassing. In other words there is no one size fits all to a lot of life questions.

    I was in the Air Force for twenty years and traveled a lot. I spent about eight years out of the United States, mostly in the Netherlands, England, Italy and Guam. I was able to see that part of the world with a thirty day temporary duty assignment to Panama and Bolivia. I have been out since 1993, but I still have that strong desire to live outside the country. This sounds like a nice place to move to permanently.

    This woman is an absolute heart throb. This is one of the many reasons I be looking for my wife in South America. Brazil, Colombia , peru, Venezuela. It's just a different vibe when I travel to these countries. I love her mentality. She's not just Beauty. But peace and brains. Love it.❤
