"Damaged By Love" is a song from the Tom Petty solo album HIGHWAY COMPANION. If you are not familiar with the album I recommend you seek it out. There are some great songs on there. The album was produced by Jeff Lynn, who did a fine job. Tom Petty wrote "Damaged By Love" all by himself. Heartbreaker Mike Campbell makes guest appearances on the album, which helps retain that signature Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers sound. Rolling Stone magazine stated that Tom Petty never made a bad album, and I would certainly agree with that! I hope you like my solo acoustic version of this song.

This Tom Petty track is one of my favorites from the album I bought on iTunes. I think it's the final one in his trio of solo albums, each of which is quite impressive.
