Thank you for your beautiful sketches on a beautiful day. It is nice to see your Cherry Blossoms. I really enjoy your coffee shop sketches. Especially your renderings of people. Thank you so much.
I always look forward to your videos Becky! You capture the essence so perfectly. You are a wonderful teacher explaining the colors you use and why you use them. Your paintings look so warm and inviting. Enjoy the beautiful Spring time and God Bless!
Thank you Becky. Another great spread in your sketchbook. I’ve been using a glass dip pen with brown ink until I can afford the right waterproof ink for my Fude pen. Still waiting for UK weather to calm down so I can go out and get drawing and painting.
The collage style of your notebook is very cool, and so is your art style in general. Years later, your sketchbooks will be like a little illustrated storybook of your life! I haven't visited your channel in awhile and I was happy to come back and discover that you were still active! It is always very relaxing and inspiring, thank you
Beautiful, thank you, Becky.although it did make my pumpkin soup, I'm having look rather boring 😂 those noodles almost looked as good as your beautiful artwork.
Dear Becky. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos and tutorials! 🌺 I admire the ease with which you sketch and colour your paintings. Being a terrible perfectionist, I'm afraid to even start drawing. I think I'm going to get a fountain pen too, because with the pencil I'm always tempted to erase everything as soon as I put it to paper. I wish you a beautiful sunny day. Many greetings from Switzerland. 😽✨
I can’t believe how many cherry trees there are in Canada! You always seem to find cherry trees in bloom to paint. It is almost like your signature element!
Becky I love the way you show us the actual city of Vancouver! It was one of my favorite places we went to on vacation! And you absolutely inspire me every time I watch you sketch and paint!
i don't comment very often, but i watch a lot of your videos, and i absolutely love how freely you sketch! i sketch and share my journey on IG, and often times i just get way too caught up in chasing the exactness. so, watching your videos is very liberating!
Hi Becky. Is Yaletown the area where Stanley Park is? I just love your spreads… something about your lines that I find so charming…. along with your compositions.
Very nice Becky. I love how brave you sketch directly with pen, not afraid of making mistakes 😊. Do you mind sharing how did you learn sketching? No pencil at all?
I have an art background training. Before I started sketching without pencil in sketchbooks, I spent about 3 years learning how to draw and paint watercolors (with pencils), with some art Master's graduates in their studios. Then I just felt ready to do it without pencil. I started practicing simple things like food and drinks before trying landscapes.
Thank you! Yes, I teach adult sketch lessons online every weekend. Here is the link to my KoFi Shop where I post my classes for registration: ko-fi.com/caobecky/shop
Hi Becky I just love your video and everything you've been providing so far and I 'm just wondering what kind of ink you're using with sailor fude pen. It must be waterproof isn' it ? Thanks a lot❤
Thank you. I'm currently using Noodler's brown ink #41. But in this video from a long time ago, , I think I used a waterproof fine liner pen, Winsor and Newton brand.
I have the green sailor fude pen which i really like but I'd like to have another fountain pen for smaller details. Would you recommend the other sailor fude pen that you use or another finer fountain pen?
Quickly becoming my favorite channel.

Lovely! What is that camera/phone holder that you are using?
It's a gooseneck phone clamp you can find on Amazon. :)

Yaletown is about 15 minutes drive from Stanley Park, not in the same area but not too far apart. 😀 Thank you for your continued support, Rowena! ❤️🌈

How long do you let the page dry before closing the sketchbook? Thank you.
About 15 minutes. :)
Your drawing is beautiful and inspiring. Do you teach adult art lessons as well?
Where can I buy the sketch pen, water colour, brush and paper in Canada? I have no art training 😢before

You can get them from your local art supplies store. Amazon also has the Mungyo watercolors I use.

I recommend having both of the Sailor's fude pens, or, the 55 degree fude pen with another regular fountain pen for finer details.
What brand of water brushes do you prefer?
I love the Holbein water brushes.
