The Courage to Sketch People from Real Life 🎨 Pen and Watercolors on Location

- Hi everyone, today I'm sharing with you my morning sketching at Crema Cafe in West Vancouver. I captured 4 people sitting in front of me in my sketchbook, as well as the view of the sea and sky outside the windows. Please watch the video until the end for my full process composing this sketchbook page using pen and watercolors.
🎨 Materials I used:
- Sailor's fude fountain pens
- Noodler's Brown 41 Ink (to fill the fountain pen)
- Mungyo watercolors
- Etchr Mix-Media A4 size Landscape Sketchbook
- Holbein Water Brush (large tip)
- Holbein water brush (medium tip)

An inspiring video Becky. I’ve been to Crema several times and can’t imagine sketching there. I’ll need a lot more practice and confidence before taking out my sketchbook in such a busy environment.

Hey Becky, what kind of ink do you use with your lamy pen. Mine keeps getting clogged up!
I'm using Noodler's brown ink #41, in a Sailor's Fude fountain pen.
