Come on guys. Rock in Rio has at least 3 better choices. 2 Minutes 2 Midnight Clansman Run to the Hills Twon should just do the entire show. Also, for the most Amazing performance ever; Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Rock in rio)
Vocals / Air Raid Siren = Bruce Dickinson Drummer = in this video, was Clive Burr RIP - is now = Nicko McBrain Guitarist = Dave Murray & Adrian Smith (so, you get TWO guitar solos, in every Maiden song) & the bass guitar, is the mastermind behind the band, major songwriting, and music, as well, as fast AF finger pickin' string slamming galloping baselines = Steve Harris.... They had a fill in guitarist, for some years, but, decided to keep him on, for their current Legacy Of The Beast Tour, his name = Janick Gers - so, yes, still touring, still the best live band performance (s) I have ever seen ! Attention to detail, never ending energy, massive, devout, die hard Maiden Fans, pack the biggest arenas, and we'll into their 60s, they absolutely will blow your mind !!! Up The Irons 🤘 And, yes, please REACT TO MUCH MORE MAIDEN !! I have seen them many times, and as recently as Sept 22, 2019 in PHX AZ, going all the way back to Powerslave / Live After Death, early 80s !!! I ain't even gonna ask for any Beastie Boys, if you're gonna be reacting to the legends, that are Iron Maiden 🤘
@@matiasdimter619 Well, fair enuff, wasn't trying to dis / shade... My comment was getting winded, And him, in their bit later years, and I wasn't even try to get into, the other guitar stepping away, kinda band stuff... For sure, 'props' to Janick, he is a maniac on stage, shout out to Paul Dianno, too . . . Up The Irons 🤘
Iron Maiden is a british band from the late 70's that still rock out today! Nowadays every live show they make is full, arenas and stadiums are sold out anywhere in the world, man, and yes, they are still releasing albums and the best part of their music you find in live concerts. Keep reacting to their videos, any song that people suggest down in the comment box is worth listening/watching.
The best heavy metal band of all time IMO. They still tour which is pretty incredible as they’re all in their 60’s. Check out the Rock in Rio 2001 concert. Every song is mind-blowing.
One of the metal gods, and best live shows ever. They are still touring, still selling out huge arenas. Fear of the Dark live in Rio is another great live performance.
They are from England, the Bass player Steve Harris is responsible for their birth. Bruce Dickinson vocals, The drummer on this track is Clive Burr (no longer w/the band) now is Nikko McBrain is their drummer, Dave Murry and Adrain Smith on guitars. Yes they are still around, I saw them last year in Los Angels with my oldest son and it was awesome! Yes listen to more.
Yes they still make music and sellout venues worldwide. Please react to more Maiden! Rime of the Ancient Mariner, The Trooper, The Number of the Beast, Wasted Years
Fans always request the same old songs, here are two other great ones that will blow you away! *_'Sign of the cross'_* for the instrumentals, and *_'Dream of mirrors'_* for the vocals. Both from *_LIVE Rock in Rio,_* It's on RUclips....chur from NZL.
AWESOME to see this, great reaction!! I really like your insight and new discoveries about metal/rock music. Iron Maiden have been around quite a while, with many member changes throughout the years. They are still making music and kicking ass, the lead singer Bruce Dickinson is an Olympic class fencing master AND flies the Iron Maiden airline in which the band travels from gig to gig. I would say check out The Trooper, Aces High, Two Minutes To Midnight or Run To The Hills...ALL great Iron Maiden tunes. On a side note I would really love to see you react to this song, Pat Travers Snortin' Whiskey ruclips.net/video/MykD8zgHuy8/видео.html It's a hard rocking, guitar driven tune I think you'll really like!
(I recommend reading this on a computer, not a phone) I know someone else already said some of the band members, but I want to bring up the fact about the singers and Janick Gers. Janick joined in 1990 after the guitarist Adrian Smith left the band and he played and song wrote for 4 albums (more on those last 2 albums in a second). Adrian came back in 1999 along with Bruce Dickinson (more on that in a sec as well) and they kept Janick instead of firing him so the line up is now Adrian, Dave, Janick for guitarists. Now, onto singers and a warning for reacting to Maiden, over the years, iron maiden has had 3 singers, Paul Di'anno, Bruce Dickinson, and Blaze Bayley. Paul on "Iron Maiden" and "Killers" which are their first 2 albums, Blaze on "The X factor" and "Virtual XI" (the socond half of the albums where is was Janick and no Adrian), and finally Bruce on all the other 12 Albums. See more in the comment of this post.
Take this as a cheat sheet instead of a actual request because Maiden is a rabbit hole for people and you will get many requests for many songs, For a rule, I would say if it is not on this list, it is studio (or you may get request for Ullevi or Download Fest but that will be few and far between). For live reactions, you will get 3 concerts to react to when it comes to requests and that is Rock in Rio 2001, Flight 666, and finally En Vivo. Rock in Rio will be Fear of the Dark (priority No.1), The Clansman (priority, also originally sand by Blaze but people prefer Bruce) Sign of the cross (Priority, also another Blaze), Run to the Hills (priority), you will get more but I am doing priorities only. Flight 666, Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Priority No.2) Number of the Beast (Priority), Can I play with Madness (priority), Revilations, Wasted Years, Powerslave (All priority as well). En Vivo, 2 Minutes to Midnight (Priority 3), Dance of Death (Priority 4), Blood Brothers (Priority 5), El Dorado, Coming Home, the Talisman, The Trooper.
Just saw them last year in Las Vegas in September on Friday the 13th none the less and again in L.A. on the 14th. Have never missed a US tour since they started touring here (age check lol). You've got to check out their 2001 Rock in Rio "Fear of the Dark". I was at that show. It was the only time I've seen them out of the US. UP THE IRONS!!!
They're now in their 60's (the drummer is 68) and they're as good now as they've ever been, I really don't know where they get their energy from but they're clearly still loving playing live!
Iron Maiden is a heavy metal band formed in 1975, by founding member, principal songwriter, and bass player Steve Harris. Their last studio album was released in 2015. I've read rumors about maybe a new one being in preproduction, but I'm not sure if that's for-real or not. They still tour-- their last one was cut short by the epidemic. Check out the documentary film Flight 666, they've got their own plane and everything. Yes absolutely, listen to more of their stuff. And watch their live shows, they're some of the best in the business. I like Wrathchild for the bass, The Trooper is catchy as hell, Rime Of The Ancient Mariner is epic, and Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son is one of the finest concept albums ever made.
Iron Maiden is my all time favorite band and THIS is one of their BIGGEST HITS! Also Bruce has a great voice! I'm really quite shocked you chose more metal but kudos man for being willing to broaden your horizons way to go! I've been in love with super blonde lead guitar player, guitar God Dave Murray! sure this song is about a man on his way to his execution but it's also about him reflecting on his past on the way so you know it's not a total waste. Also as far as metal goes this song The like the studio version that you should probably go listen to is really crisp and clear and you can hear everything about the song and actually how beautiful the guitar is on the studio version. The right live and they're still touring and they're like Grandpa's. Rock on! Aszneth 😀🤘
Formed in 1975 by Steve Harris (Bassist) they built their fan base by touring constantly and supporting a few bigger acts. This video was from 1983.They received very little airplay from mainstream media throughout their early career. They've released 16 studio albums (the last one in 2015), 12 live albums and 7 compilation albums. They have a huge catalogue of music to choose from. But their live performances are usually the best to react to. Yes, Bruce the singer is a pilot, no they don't 'own' a plane, they lease them as required. However, Bruce does have his own aviation company and was one of the 6 pilots that flew them around the world on the tour covered by the 'Flight 666' documentary. If you want to see what kind of crowd they attract, watch "The Trooper' En Vivo live in Santiago. This is 36 years since they were formed....and they're still attracting a young audience
Bro....not only are they still around, they’re better than ever. They’ve added a third lead guitarist, and their songs are even heavier and more progressive. Check out their WWI epic Paschendale, and their ode to WWII, The Longest Day .
You did good...this would be considered Metal for most....plenty of these earlier bands to go through who actually played REAL instruments....Great job!....BTW The are still ROCKIN' today!!!
One thing about Iron maiden is the lead singer. He is the pilot of their tour plane 747. Also like a lot of bands of this era they got no air time on the radio.
Eddie and the boys are still going strong! Up the Irons! Saw them live last year and they closed with this song. It still sounded this good decades later. Fear of the Dark in Rio as others have suggested is a must watch but that performance is from around 2001 I believe around their now middle period. If you want to see them most recently with a song from their last album they put out watch "Iron Maiden - The Red And The Black (The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter)"
You should know right off the bat, Iron Maiden has had 3 different vocalist since 1978. They are Paul Di'Anno -(1978-1981), Bruce Dickinson - (1981-1993, 1999-present) and Blaze Bayley (1994-1999). I tell you this because you will venture into the Maiden catalog and realize this does not sound like the guy in this video which is Bruce Dickinson. Now the other 2 guys are good singers, just Bruce is on much higher level. Now that being said welcome my friend to The Maiden Universe and prepare for a EPIC journey. "Up the IRONS!" \m/ \m/
Iron Maiden is NWOBHM (New wave of British Heavy Metal). It’s the best metal genre, don’t care what anyone says. If you liked this, look up Rime of the Ancient Mariner (12 minute song), or a live version of Fear of the Dark from either Rio or En Vivo. Both songs by Iron Maiden. Get lyrics if you can and read them as you go through. Oooorr you could look at another NWOBHM band, maybe Judas Priest. Breaking the Law would be a good place to start with that band.
Good job bruh, they’re still active, the Legacy of the Beast Tour is coming out and Bruce said in an interview he and Steve Harris are working on a new studio album.
Nice react..seems to remind me of..well.. me, when a buddy first turned me on to Maiden back in '83ish lol Keep it up! And yea, Fear of the Dark from Rock 'n Rio is stellar!
during this covid misery have had a long time to reflect on other genres - at the moment it seems like new-ish british rap, like dave, stormzy and lady leshurr. I liked old school US rap, like NWA and run dmc etc - nice to see you visiting maiden who I admit wasn't a huge fan of, but the theatrics are insanely good and bruce can properly sing. nice worlk. x
Rock / Metal / Punk / Funk.. all cousins of each other. Metal is just rock but louder, heavier, darker, maybe faster.... more extreme. If you wanna hear where Rock crosses over with "metal".. check out Motorhead's "Overkill". That came out in 1979. Metal started with bands like Black Sabbath... even though at the time it was called "acid rock".
Great reaction. For Iron Maiden videos I always suggest first watch the original videos then the live ones, and always have lyrics available. Iron Maiden has a deep, deep catalog. Enjoy and welcome to the family of fans. Chris
Iron Maiden is a British Heavy Metal band formed in the 1970's. They still tour to this day and release studio and live albums. The amount of amazing songs they have is huge. Chris
Iron Maiden is different from most Metal Bands, they were pretty much black listed from most corporate radio back in the day. So they built up their fan base by unbelievable live shows and masterwork studio albums. They usually write about history, movies, books and some personal experiences. Chris
Best thing too do is look up a bands discography before listening. Too get some kind of framework of the band. Like Iron Maiden Discography Or Allmusic.com . Do more Maiden the first two albums was a different singer Paul Dianno. Who you heard was Bruce. The bassist Steve writes the lyrics. Checkout Iron Maiden, Running Free, and 2 minutes to midnight.
Twon!! That performance you were talking about that was your favorite live performance was AC/DC “Whole Lotta Rosie” Live at River Plate!! You had Angus Young doing his “Scissor Shuffle” while playin the guitar 🎸🔥 and to top it off you had a Huge Blow Up Doll of *Rosie* 🤣🤣😲😮😭😭🙌 a CLASSIC! 💯🤣😎
Real bands stand the test of time...This is what every entertainer should strive to achieve. Check out Powerslave, be quick or be dead , killers, back in the village.
I'm waiting in my cold cell, when the bell begins to chime Reflecting on my past life and it doesn't have much time Cause at 5 o'clock they take me to the Gallows Pole The sands of time for me are running low Running low, yeah [Verse 1] When the priest comes to read me the last rites I take a look through the bars at the last sights Of a world that has gone very wrong for me Can it be that there's some sort of error? Hard to stop the surmounting terror Is it really the end, not some crazy dream? [Verse 2] Somebody please tell me that I'm dreaming It's not easy to stop from screaming But words escape me when I try to speak Tears fall but why am I crying? After all I'm not afraid of dying Don't I believe that there never is an end? [Verse 3] As the guards march me out to the courtyard Somebody cries from a cell "God be with you" If there's a God why has He let me go? As I walk my life drifts before me And though the end is near I'm not sorry Catch my soul, it's willing to fly away [Verse 4] Mark my words believe my soul lives on Don't worry now that I have gone I've gone beyond to seek the truth When you know that your time is close at hand Maybe then you'll begin to understand Life down here is just a strange illusion [Guitar solo: Dave Murray] [Guitar solo: Adrian Smith] [Outro] Yeah, yeah, yeah... Hallowed be Thy name Yeah, yeah, yeah... Hallowed be Thy name Yeah
When you had the time, react to Iron Maiden Rime of the Ancient Mariner from the Flight 666 dvd. Everything you need to know about Iron Maiden and what they are in metal is in there. A performance out of this world.
Give a try to "Infinite dreams", out of one of their best albums : "Seventh son of a seventh son" you won't regret it ! By the way, the whole album is a masterpiece ("Somewhere in time" too). Up the Irons !
Great reaction and just subscribed. Maiden is my favorite ban. Here is a suggestion: "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son." I see you have not touch all-girl bands. Try Lovebites "When Destinies Align" Official Video version with English Sub (CC) turned on. These ladies will not disappoint.
I love Maiden, but you want to see a great live stage performance check out Nightwish - ghost love score live at wacken 2013. You will not be disappointed.
Hey, you should definitely check out nightwish symphonic metal band from Finland 1996 -2020 2013 wacken live show for better quality, nightwish, awesome 😎
I'm going to make a prediction, you're going to love this band. I say this because you already like them, and when I first heard them I didn't like them. Now I like at least 90 songs by them, more than any other band that I like, any other band that to me has multiple songs I enjoy, such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin,The Beatles, The Doors, Kiss, Metallica, Slayer, Death, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Billy Joel, Elton John and more I can name but I'll just mention those. No other band comes close to the sheer number of songs I like from Iron Maiden. For good reason, where someone has an album where 4 of 10 songs are good and the rest you can live without, and for a lot of bands it's the rule, for Iron Maiden it's the exception, of their 16 albums, I will admit to not listening to the X-Factor, The Book Of Souls, also not really giving The Final Frontier the attention that I usually give their albums. I would say of those 16 albums I would say No Prayer For The Dying, Fear Of The Dark, Virtual XI to be a bit lackluster, there are good songs on those 3 albums it's just for Iron Maiden they're lackluster. I can't comment on The Book Of Souls except the reviews of it are very favorable, or The X Factor only because I've yet to hear either. The Final Frontier is a good album I just haven't really taken the time to absorb it. So that means I can say for myself that I find 11 albums quite enjoyable. Not saying I enjoy every song on those 11 albums, but if an album has 10 songs I'm likely going to like 7 or 8 of those songs. Pretty good when some bands have 2 or 3 good songs on an album out of 10. So here is a list I will suggest, too many people request certain songs but I think these will help you enjoy the band more than you already do. I'm not going to list every song I like, I just feel these are the ones that can more easily get a person into the band. These are from the Bruce Dickinson (singer) era from 1982-1988 Children Of The Damned The Trooper (watch the official video) Losfer Words (instrumental) Flash Of The Blade Powerslave Anything from The Somewhere In Time album, but try to stick with album versions or official videos like Stranger In A Strangeland or Wasted Years Infinite Dreams Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son Remember I like at least 90 of their songs, these songs are just a taste to pull you more in to the band so you can get into other songs, don't misunderstand the list as the best and only thing they have to offer. I consider it a list for people who have not really listened to them before. For example I love the song To Tame A Land, I wouldn't recommend it as a first time song. Think of this like Miyagi showing Daniel San the basics before he moves to the next level. You are about to enter a world of music that will enrich you and educate you, the music will take you places. Seriously, get ready. Even though I would hope any new Iron Maiden song for you that you hear you do it on your channel you should check out the youtube channel HalfLifeSistah on one video she does for Iron Maiden-Caught Somewhere In Time, her husband explains to her why the band means so much to him and what he gets out of the band and what makes them so great for him,and he listens with her as she listens to her first Iron Maiden song and I would recommend not watching her react to the song and doing your own reaction of Caught Somewhere In Time, THEN watching her react, it's one of the most amusing Iron Maiden reactions I've seen. She loses it during the guitar solos.
Excellent reaction! Most everyone's music suggestions will be solid, but don't leave out their earlier work with Paul Di'Anno on vocals. I recommend you react to "Wrathchild" from their album, Killers. It's metal with amazing guitars and a killer groove. ruclips.net/video/u-3Ka8x4zvE/видео.html

One of best live concers ever!!
One of the greatest performances ever
Iron Maiden is NWOBHM (New wave of British Heavy Metal).
It’s the best metal genre, don’t care what anyone says. If you liked this, look up Rime of the Ancient Mariner (12 minute song), or a live version of Fear of the Dark from either Rio or En Vivo. Both songs by Iron Maiden.
Get lyrics if you can and read them as you go through.
Oooorr you could look at another NWOBHM band, maybe Judas Priest. Breaking the Law would be a good place to start with that band.
Thats what metal in the 80's was all about man!
You got to react to the trooper live and rime of the ancient mariner live by them and finally wasted years. These where one of the pioneers of metal.
Legendary metal gods👌🌶
Hell this was live back in 1983, you should see their fear of the dark live 2001 rockin rio.
The GOAT🤘🤘🤘🤘
Good job bruh, they’re still active, the Legacy of the Beast Tour is coming out and Bruce said in an interview he and Steve Harris are working on a new studio album.
Heavy Metal was never a boring Music
Dude they are still touring. Next time they come to Madison square garden New York I’ll get an extra front row ticket for u.
Iron Maiden - Infinite Dreams. Live or studio!
Nice react..seems to remind me of..well.. me, when a buddy first turned me on to Maiden back in '83ish lol Keep it up! And yea, Fear of the Dark from Rock 'n Rio is stellar!
MORE MAIDEN!
The Prisoner, Alexander the Great, Paschendale, Sign of the cross- Live Rock in Rio
during this covid misery have had a long time to reflect on other genres - at the moment it seems like new-ish british rap, like dave, stormzy and lady leshurr. I liked old school US rap, like NWA and run dmc etc - nice to see you visiting maiden who I admit wasn't a huge fan of, but the theatrics are insanely good and bruce can properly sing. nice worlk. x
bruce dickinson is singer, here,,adrian smithith, and dave murrey are main guitarists, but there has been many changes :)
/,,/ !
Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner (Live)
Rock / Metal / Punk / Funk.. all cousins of each other. Metal is just rock but louder, heavier, darker, maybe faster.... more extreme. If you wanna hear where Rock crosses over with "metal".. check out Motorhead's "Overkill". That came out in 1979. Metal started with bands like Black Sabbath... even though at the time it was called "acid rock".
Fear of the dark live in river plate or THE CLANSMAN
Like Iron Maiden Discography
Or Allmusic.com .
Infinite dreams
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
React to any song from live after death 😀 it’s voted the best metal concert ever. Great job and a great reaction. Keep it up 👍🏻
Fabulous reaction man
Iron Maiden- where eagles dare
I' m over 50 years old and i got still my long hair like Bruce here
Real bands stand the test of time...This is what every entertainer should strive to achieve. Check out Powerslave, be quick or be dead , killers, back in the village.
Read the lyrics - It is about an innocent prisoner on his last day before execution
I'm waiting in my cold cell, when the bell begins to chime
Reflecting on my past life and it doesn't have much time
Cause at 5 o'clock they take me to the Gallows Pole
The sands of time for me are running low
Running low, yeah
[Verse 1]
When the priest comes to read me the last rites
I take a look through the bars at the last sights
Of a world that has gone very wrong for me
Can it be that there's some sort of error?
Hard to stop the surmounting terror
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?
[Verse 2]
Somebody please tell me that I'm dreaming
It's not easy to stop from screaming
But words escape me when I try to speak
Tears fall but why am I crying?
After all I'm not afraid of dying
Don't I believe that there never is an end?
[Verse 3]
As the guards march me out to the courtyard
Somebody cries from a cell "God be with you"
If there's a God why has He let me go?
As I walk my life drifts before me
And though the end is near I'm not sorry
Catch my soul, it's willing to fly away
[Verse 4]
Mark my words believe my soul lives on
Don't worry now that I have gone
I've gone beyond to seek the truth
When you know that your time is close at hand
Maybe then you'll begin to understand
Life down here is just a strange illusion
[Guitar solo: Dave Murray]
[Guitar solo: Adrian Smith]
[Outro]
Yeah, yeah, yeah... Hallowed be Thy name
Yeah, yeah, yeah... Hallowed be Thy name
Yeah
Iron Maiden are Power Metal just FYI.
Listen to Iron Maiden - Fear of The Dark (in Argentina)
Great reaction, and it's hard to pick a bad song to react to maiden with.
Mornin👍☀️
When you had the time, react to Iron Maiden Rime of the Ancient Mariner from the Flight 666 dvd. Everything you need to know about Iron Maiden and what they are in metal is in there. A performance out of this world.
Give a try to "Infinite dreams", out of one of their best albums : "Seventh son of a seventh son" you won't regret it ! By the way, the whole album is a masterpiece ("Somewhere in time" too). Up the Irons !
Hello from Cody Wyoming 😊 sorry I am 4 years late
There's a band called Sixx AM. React to the live version of Life is beautiful. It has a hell of a back story. Give it a listen🥰
Check out Thin Lizzy. A huge influence on Maiden. Start off with the Jailbreak album!!
Do Aces High next! Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden is probably the second biggest metal band of all time, after Metallica (and many people would say they’re number 1).
They ARE no, 1 !!!!
Great reaction and just subscribed. Maiden is my favorite ban. Here is a suggestion: "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son."
I see you have not touch all-girl bands. Try Lovebites "When Destinies Align" Official Video version with English Sub (CC) turned on. These ladies will not disappoint.
I love Maiden, but you want to see a great live stage performance check out Nightwish - ghost love score live at wacken 2013. You will not be disappointed.
Up the irons
Great song and reaction! Listen to run to the hills
Hey, you should definitely check out nightwish symphonic metal band from Finland 1996 -2020 2013 wacken live show for better quality, nightwish, awesome 😎
Try The original videos (if it doesn’t get blocked lol) for THE TROOPER or FLIGHT OF ICARUS.
And supposed to be new album in 2020 maybe
These are from the Bruce Dickinson (singer) era from 1982-1988
Children Of The Damned
The Trooper (watch the official video)
Losfer Words (instrumental)
Flash Of The Blade
Powerslave
Anything from The Somewhere In Time album, but try to stick with album versions or official videos like Stranger In A Strangeland or Wasted Years
Infinite Dreams
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
Remember I like at least 90 of their songs, these songs are just a taste to pull you more in to the band so you can get into other songs, don't misunderstand the list as the best and only thing they have to offer.
She loses it during the guitar solos.
check out run to the hills iron maiden
Excellent reaction! Most everyone's music suggestions will be solid, but don't leave out their earlier work with Paul Di'Anno on vocals. I recommend you react to "Wrathchild" from their album, Killers. It's metal with amazing guitars and a killer groove. ruclips.net/video/u-3Ka8x4zvE/видео.html
Fear of the Dark... Alexander the Great... 2 options
both poop.
You should see Maiden in concert. Check out Alexander the Great.
That’s what turninup does
Rime of the ancient mariner next one i sugest.
There ARE no breathers in Metal!!!
I suggest to react to "Moonchild" (But there are really so many many songs...)
