  • Sorry about some of the quality problems, it's a VHS with creases & stuff.
Nobody mentions that Jaki is Jody's nephew until about 18 minutes in (thanks, Jan!)
Minor league drivers do minor league stuff! No green for the start, since folks back in the pack get pretty aggressive. Brazilian kids with open-wheeled cars..you know the drill.
IIRC, Geoff Boss made it to "The Show", but it didn't really matter, since the Indycars couldn't go to Indy during The Split. From the research I've done, Larsson didn't even get that half of a chance.
Anyway, here's more "ladder series" stuff from the US. Always been a bit of a weird climb over here..

OK, so Jaki is Jody's nephew. So, then, how is Jaki related to Tomas?

You mean guys like Bryan Herta, Juan Pablo Montoya, AJ Allmendinger, Joey Hand, Kenny Brack, Townsend Bell, Derek Hill, Roger Yasukawa, Alex Gurney, etc? And those are only the names that some dilettante hack would recognize. There were guys in that series that nobody ever heard of who were just as good as, or better than, the guys I mentioned. There has never been a more talent-packed development series.

@@tommyfogarty Exactly too bad many of the drivers in this era didn't really make a name for themselves as others have.
