Despite being on a Monday and ending under caution this was a good Daytona 500

Best 500 since 2022. Best 500 in the Gen 7, so far.
This is the kind of Daytona 500 I love to see! Professional and great and intense racing with no crapshoots and GWCs!

I think Byron won by rule but it was very close. I would've preferred Bowman over Byron but glad the 10 year streak of HMS not winning the Daytona 500 is over. The Go Biggie Wendy's ad with 30 to 35 to go was awful.
I think Bowman won according to the rules.

It was tremendous race at Daytona! From the 3rd time of the year on Monday Night Race.
William Byron solidified himself as Jeff Gordon's protégé with the 500 and besides the quick yellow lights were made after Newman's 2020 crash
Although it was an incredibly aggressive move, I think it would have been an amazing one if Cindric didn’t get bopped by LaJoie. I think Ross had just enough room and we’d be talking about the fantastic pass had Cindric not been pushed up. Its a shame. At least, as shown from the image, nascar got the call right. Was not a huge fan how Fox didn’t really cover why Byron was the winner but I digress. Overall what a great race
The race was ok. I was looking forward to seeing Jimmie Johnson, but that ended early after lap 6. Harvick did a great job in the booth. I had Suarez winning the race, but I lost money on that one 😞

I actually thought that the yellow flag would've wave before the white flag since Chastain & Cindric lost control before the start/finish line. At the same time though, maybe Nascar wanted to avoid an overtime with the Xfinity race set right after the Cup race.🤷♂️
Easily one of the cleanest Daytona 500s since 2016 even with the sour ending. So glad these Reviews are back Jett!

The worst Daytona 500 of all times is 2000. Without a doubt. 2001, was one of the best 500s , minus the last lap. The new restrictor plate package in 2001, was one of the best.

Thanks to Byron and bowman they wrecked and destroyed half the field so I don’t think either one deserves to win

2001 wasn't the worst 500 of all time. I tune it out of my recollection when I compare 500's because it was so painful and doesn't fit the definition of worst for me. I miss dale sr.
2001 was one of the best disregarding dale sr's death

Bowman is talentless. in an ideal world, he deserved to be the one who ended up like Chastain a lap down. Guy was out here wrecking 2/3 of the field and ends up 2nd. Kyle Busch was never more right when he called that chump a hack
2001 was the greatest Daytona 500 for 99% of the race, what are you talking about? Nascar is dead but some of you don’t want to see it
