I’ve only owned mine for 2 weeks but I’m loving the high build quality and perky performance (220i). Nice touch to find reversing wizard as standard so I can reverse out of the drive exactly the way I came into it automatically.
Thanks for review. The ride did seem a bit choppy. Interested in the plugin variant which starts production in August but may go for the luxury trim as i want comfort more than performance. Did the review car have the M Sport adaptive suspension? Maybe that made the ride comfort a bit more stiff?
Hit the nail on the head -yes, the idea of i-drive 8 is that you give spoken commands to the car , rather than work through the menus on the touchscreen.
I have the 1st Gen and it has been absolutely fantastic. Never missed a beat, fun to drive and takes everything I throw at it in its stride.
