Appreciate this channel man, used your vids when I did my drive train fluid service at 30K. Love the satisfaction you get when you knock out your own maintenance and save some money along the way. cheers 🤙🏼
Awesome thanks man! ✌️ Nothing beats the feeling of successfully working on your own car
moving down to 18 inch wheels is the single best improvement you can make to an sti in my opinion. It fixes the ride quality issues and improves performance if you get some wider wheels. Love the content and hope to see more coming from you!
Thanks for the tip! I hear good things about 18 inch wheels on the STI. I'm glad you're enjoying my content, stay tuned!
hell yeah love my 18x9.5 +38. throw some isc coilovers on. feeling noice!
Great Vid Alan. I have a '20 fully stock still and it's my daily and only. Enjoy the hell out of it. Thanks for sharing all of your hard work. Had a stage 2 2017 WRX previous so similar steps. Every time I drive somewhere it's a blast.
Thanks!
Nicee!! These cars definitely make daily driving a blast!
that was a great two years summary. your perspective is admirable.
Thank you!
those opening few scenes with the music were epic!! Nice video! Love to see fellow subie owners enjoying their cars!!
Thank you!! ✌️
@@STi_Alanlike your Subaru on your RUclips video 🏆🏆
Man I really enjoyed your video. You did a great job telling the story and I liked how you provided video examples of everything. Subbed!
Thanks so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed!
You did make the right decision
Yep! You can't go wrong with choosing this car as a fun daily driver in the mid-west
Great video man. More power to you!!!!
Thanks! I appreciate it!!
I like how you kept it real.
Thanks! I try to be as authentic as I can
Awesome young Man.
Thank you!
Great review 💯
Thanks!! ✌️
Hello from Detroit! 👋
Hello from the 313! ✌️
Good stuff man! I really enjoy your videos. They’ve definitely helped me out a lot these last few months.
Also, freak that van at the end bro lol they ALWAYS tailgate and rear ends people, it’s almost predictable
Thank you, I'm glad I could help!
Haha yea sometimes you see things happen so much that you start to be able to predict unpredictable things before they happen
I enjoy your videos. Please keep up the great work. What model camera do you have mounted at the front of your car? I’m looking for security reasons.
Thank you!! I have the COOAU dual dash cam that can record both the front and inside cabin.

@@STi_Alan awesome thank you! Do you have an install video for the dash cam by any chance?
no problem! unfortunately I don't have an install video for the dash cam but most dash cams are pretty easy to install if you power it with the auxiliary power outlet/cigarette lighter
Do you tune the Cobb OTS tune? How many miles have you ran that tune for?
Yes I currently have the Cobb OTS tune and I've been running it for at least 20k miles by now
Hi, thx for great video. How many miles do you have on you odometer ?
Thanks for watching! I currently have about 88,000 miles and counting
@@STi_Alan THX man, long term living (with subaru) type videos will be extreme useful for new Subie people.
There is no much content on YT where user have STOCK STi with STOCK engine and "high mileage experiences" with this (AWESOME) car.
Someday I want one 😭but for now im happy with my forester
They are definitely fun cars! The forester is also really cool too ✌️
any future suspension mods?
Right now I kind of like how the stock suspension feels but maybe someday in the future I might look into it
@@STi_Alan its a daily right? does ur state salt for winter? if so are you doing any undercoating or anything?
Yes it's my daily and they do salt the roads here. I wash the underbody but I should definitely consider getting an undercoating@@connor158
Hard to keep the car looking pristine when you're driving it like you're supposed to haha. Any reliability mods coming soon?
haha That's right, cars were made to be driven! I'm sure I'll look into doing reliable mods someday, maybe after the cold winter
@@STi_AlanDefinitely put an AOS on it first thing if you haven’t yet. Be sure to go with a good brand like IAG for it, the Grimmspeed one is crap.
Sick car. Impossible to keep a car in good condition in the Midwest if you're actually driving it. it sucks!!
Thanks! Haha ikr!? Cars in the midwest are almost always destined to get roughed up eventually
Ac compressor. Damn that's unfortunate but at least it's right there6
Haha yea it's very easy to get to on the Subaru!
