Thanks for the video! I love my scattergun rails! If anyone is on the fence about them they’re totally worth it! The build was straight forward, fun and rewarding. I can also vouch for NWSD! Great people, great products!
Yeah for sure. To do this conversion just needs a TRX4, rails and the bumper (eBay, Amazon or AliExpress). Rest is just bolts and nuts, you can actually use a few nuts as spacers if you don’t have spacers
Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! More vids coming soon, but I've done a custom skid, sliders and servo mount for it which will be available on my Thingverse / Shapeways pages soon :)
So I thought only the sport could work on the scatter gun because the mount for the two speed and the locking diffs isn't available on the scattergun??? Is this not the case is there a way to used this chassis w my two speed w diff lockers setup?
I’m running two speed with lockers. I modded the 2 speed mount but ended up 3D printing a new one from thingverse. Diff lockers fit fine, cable takes a little adjustment but nothing too complicated
Love your vids very informative!! I'm build a scattetgun with a Sport and was wondering where you get the shock standoff bars between the shocks? I can not find anything of the sort.
I just did this conversion. I can't figure out why when I steering it tilts the truck side to side alot no matter what I do. Any ideas to move forward?
It’ll be to do with panhard length and angle. You need your panhard angle to match your drag link or you’ll get a bit of bump steer. Also worth checking your servo arm isn’t causing endpoints to max out, which will pull on the axle and flex the truck
@@JustScalin I did not know that about the panhard and drag link being equal angles..i always eyeballed the droop and squated angles. Make sense tho because at full compression the axle goes to the drivers side of the frame instead of a vertical movement. It bump steers like crazy. And I just changed servo and horn and readjusted end points and it helped alot but still had sway I could see the chassis start to torque twist. Man thank you so much! Appreciate you!
It’s available for free on thingverse or you can buy it from shapeways. It’s going great, gets the weight right down as well as being smooth and tucked away

You’re welcome and totally agree!
Customs are a pain in the bumper ! Lots of one off parts to buy or make . Thank you for the video !

I got some from eBay however you can get them on Amazon too. I tend to buy 80mm and cut down to size, but 70mm + spacers should work too
@@JustScalin ok cool I'll check them out I appreciate ya
Really nice upgrade...mind me asking how much are those? and where can i buy it
They are about $75~ and you can get them from www.nwscalerdesigns.com
