I tried swapping rear shock colours around. Turns out the best setup for me was orange on the back with a rubber band wrapped around the lower links up to the rear body posts. Sucks the rear down. Works great. I don’t have the pen spring mod though so you probably wouldn’t need the rubber band. I found the stiffer rear springs that were compressed stopped the front end from lifting as easy. You could always remove the rear brass instead of adding more weight up front. There is already plenty of weight in the back end from those steel rims.
Nice vid bro!! Re-bend tha front skid around ierc bumper I did it with tha kyx front skid plate wrked out straight homey and my trx4 ain’t stock either it a Nwsd trx4 now ✊🏽🤓
Been watching your work for a while now. Great job. You make things easy to understand for me. I've applied your ideas with great success. I have a lcg question. Would a lower (or upper) link riser help to lower it a bit more? I'll likely just fashion one out of junk I have. Would I be incorrect thinking cg really can't drop much below axle height of our rigs? I thought a lower link riser on the axle would allow the belly to drop more? Thanks!
Man try these batteries golddot batt but the chanmpion version same as yours 1500 mah they also have a great few dollars cheaper versiom that 100 c discharge these ones are 120 c but theres more to it than than that they last way longer just amazing batt
Yeah, definitely has portals :) I've considered taking the front portals off just to test.. maybe both. It works pretty good though, even with higher cg

Did you just do the pen spring mod on the back or did you do them on front shocks too?
Nice rig, definitely taking some tips for you.
Definitely both. Front is the most important
Again! I cannot understand TRX4 Sport has portals?

parts list pls im looking to make one
Nice video explaining the work U did on your truck. I like that front bumper. If you remember what it is, drop a name pls. Thx
Thanks. It's an IERC bumper :)
@@ExaltedRC Thx for the super quick reply. You earned a new fellow RC follower here.
How did u mount it from the back side to keep the body in place
It's actually a strip of velcro on the inside backside of the body, that mates up to a strip on the back of the battery tray
What are the rear shock mounts
They are IERC mounts
@@ExaltedRC thanks and did that help with lowering the truck any
@@capracoins4317 I think so, yeah. I think the more you lay the shocks down, the lower the ride height will be
Looks good! Subbed
I seem confused. Shock oil don't it get thinner as number goes up? So you. Get faster rebound with 40wt then 20
😉👍
What shock mounts are you using?
Ierc rear, kyk front I think it is
What battey tray did you have?
I think it was a brp? I think it was a random battery tray on clearance on amain heh.
What body is that?
Proline power wagon. They just released a cab only version recently, I think
I'll trade you trucks LOL
