You forgot swamp of sorrows, it has a bunch of cats,crocs and spiders. Cats are generally the best for grinding but the spiders are also insane as they drop shadow silk which u can sell on ah for a very good profit
The convenient placement of the Badlands spirit healer only means you'll get corpsecamped at said spirit healer. And "seeing the enemy come" from afar never works out.
I'm thinking of leveling tandem druids.... skinning/mining and tailor/enchantment. And once they have a decent set of bags dropping tailor for leather.
Seriously, who buys food? Water, I can understand a little, but food? You get so much meat dropped by mobs that can be used for cooking. I have never had the need to buy food, ever. If no luck on drops from mobs, just fish!
I made the gold to buy my first mount by selling Swiftthistle. That herb sold for a lot of gold since rogues use it to make thistle tea, for both pvp and raiding.
Blizz should give the mount, and and riding skill free as a reward for hitting level 40. Make it something to look forward to, instead of making players scrimp, and save, and grind which is painful.

You can farm elementals early and fishing Night time stonscale eel in Tanaris.
To save on food bills with a hunter... try for a staff of conjuring out of the deadmines. It's bread for a boar, or a bear.
Never had an issue with this tbh. I even had gold for my epic at hitting 60.

They did indeed reduce the cost of normal mount to 40g, plus 10g for training.

From my understanding as long as its one key press = one command then it should be OK.
I've been using macros from razor/logitech/corsair software for years and had no issues.
