As a 30 year veteran of law enforcement who has had countless hours of active shooter training I say this to the officers in this video. RESIGN ! Your duty is to seek out and stop the shooter not seek out cover. RESIGN !
Officer Moreno especially needs to resign after watching that badge cam.

Most churches has trained armed security now. They also know it's a crazy world 🌎 out there. But I don't mean for you to stop carrying also.
Thankful in addition to paid security, we have about ~30 police who regularly attend and likely are carrying.
@@ludwigvonsowell5347Must be a big church. My church is smaller but a lot of people carry, including me
Yep we all do. Our church has a security team, but they are unnamed aka their identities are kept secret.
The church doesn’t want even guests finding out who they are, that way if our church was ever breached by someone with a firearm, they’d never know who was trained and who was not.
But that’s the thing: we’re in a church in rural TN lol every other person in our congregation of 300-350 is carrying at all times, including myself & my husband. And that’s the number of regular attendees every Sunday, so imagine almost 150-170 people firing at you!!! That would actually be insane!!

This video kept reminding me of Uvalde. I heard that female officer imploring to God and I kept thinking,”You need to pray for courage and move your butt!” The one that said that he was pinned down was clearly very scared. He needs to find another line of work.
I’ve started to realize that praying for courage, wisdom, etc sometimes results in being placed into situations where one will get one’s courage, wisdom, etc tested. Nevertheless, this was not a stellar moment for these officers.
They should both get replaced by you. You are so brave and strong. I would feel much safer with you as a cop. Please apply 😊
If you are just standing still, fear continues to grow. The only way to overcome fear is to move and take action. You will not get courage by inaction.
One of the cops was HIDING in the bathroom. Another Uvalde coward.

Female cop: "Why are people running...?"
🙄
As an officer, you have to WANT to head to the gunfire! You have to WANT to be the first unit on the scene! Once there, you put yourself between the danger and the civilians in trouble. AFTER the suspect is "disarmed/neutralized," then you think about what happened, and then you get the adrenaline shakes. Hopefully, you do not have time to think about it enough to be scared.
You never actually know until the day you face your 1st gun barrel, but in your heart, you have to know that you are willing to die and/or kill in the performance of your job.
There are still many excellent officers in good departments, but I sense this is what happens when you hire based on political quotas rather than the best candidates for the job. Not to mention the lack of support by the politicians/ press and the public..
Perfect video for everyone to understand you are responsible for your own safety. There will be no one there to help you when you need it..and thats with cops already there. I hope everyone realizes this

Veteran here, this video is the first video I have seen on your channel that made me so angry it literally brought a tear to my eye...and not just because of what this shooter did. But because there was an active shooter currently in the act of trying to kill people and some of these officers are so scared that they just will not advance on the threat. You as an officer do not get to be scared, you do not get to second guess, you do not get to sit back and do NOTHING when people are dying. If you are one of the officers I'm talking about shame on you and it may be time to think of a different career. I understand that fear is natural in these situations trust me I do, but you can't let that fear stop you.
Unfortunately the supreme Court ruled that cops no longer have to risk their lives in these situations, which I find super dumb, and that's why we can't depend on Law enforcement to protect us, we need to be armed and trained ourselves, cause no one else will do it for you.
@MarissAStrupith you are right and for this reason we need to support the 2A more than ever before. They are useless, especially the women cops.

I agree mostly... They do get to be scared, cortisol and adrenaline dump is normal (scared). You have to train in simulated high stress situations that make you have to perform under those circumstances
@@robbiecleighmarks3088 Cowards get scared when those hormones inject. The brave get excited.
The guy who was hiding and said ‘I can’t engage right now’
He was just hiding in the toilet door! Some security that man.
This ALL comes back to range time and working on one’s ability to keep our head up and aware. Train under stress.
This happened a little while ago. I’m surprised it took ASP so long to address it. Yeah…… so much wrong with the reaction of the people “in charge.” FFS, if you’re going to arm yourself and pretend to be some kind of “protection” then don’t effing hide and wait while the assault is raging on!!! 😡🤬
The little boy is now off the ventilator & life support. He's breathing on his own and able to sit up in his wheelchair. He still has a long way to go, but it's looking better for him.

Female Cop: “What is that?”…”Why are people running?”
FFS 🤦 🤦 🤦 🤦
This is nuts. No more female cops...
@@charlesg5085 It's a fairly sure bet neither of you have any idea what you'd do placed in a similar situation. Shocking things create strange behavior. A lot of people laugh when they see something horrific. You'd probably say something stupid too, or just freeze up and be useless for a bit, as would I or anyone else who's not experienced it before and prepared for the situation. Men who can respond quickly & effectively in dangerous situations are rare, women even rarer, but they do exist.

That being said, she did run towards the sound. It's not like she had no idea why people were running.
Went over this with my security team. Great discussion and I agree 100% with you guys.

Those cops should resign. What an embarrassment. Similar to what happened in uvalde.
They need a career change. Only in it for money. Getting paid 100k a year for this level of cowardice is appalling.

Seems to me some of those folks were just there to carry a gun and get an easy paycheck, never thinking they might have to have or use the skills they should have.

...don't forget power over the general population and ability to bully us into complete submission...that is the main reason I have no sympathy for this kind of situation...
The female cops were a huge let down here. It was cringe from their whispers to "we need to approach".
Like I never heard a male cop react that way to a shoot out. Just my two cents.
And this is why we have the right to defend OURSELVES
of course, cause god's almighty protection failed to activate at this church
@@war6nheaven You probably just think that dying is something that God would need to protect you from. If he is real, he probably does not concern himself much with how long we live on earth. Thats probably mostly up to us.

Yeah, I wonder why? 🤦
In my town id say 60% of adults carry. Open and concealed and in church 90% of the people in there. Kids and adults all hunt and carry weapons. We all need to carry and protect our selves and the others around us. Stay safe y'all and keep carrying. Becaus there are cops out there whom hide! At all do but its thoughs whom do that are a problem.
An excellent reminder that just about everyone in this world is useless and the only person you can rely on is yourself. Perpetually amazed at how bad everyone seems to be at everything.
When I was in the police academy years ago, they always drilled in over and over, "Rule #1, go home safe!" and I always had a problem with that. I always thought, certainly don't take stupid and unnecessary risks but rule #1 is to fulfill your mission, which is to protect the public.
Yep, in my opinion, police officers fulfill one of the few roles where "go home safe" is not the number 1 priority
It has been decided in court over and over and over again that. LEOs job is to deter crime with their presence and investigate it when it occurs. There is nothing anywhere that says in the slightest that a LEOs job is to protect anything but the power structure and their own asses. I spent half my life in the army as a combat medic with front line units in some of the most dangerous places in the world. I have absolutely zero respect for law enforcement officers. All they do is enforce what the judicial mafia does to people.
In other words "officer safety". Do your duty but don't be reckless doing it.
Thank you for your service to your community!
Then people hate the Police dont lose your life for fcking strangers
As a former Sheriffs Deputy, my experience has been that women are good at some parts of Law Enforcement, but running into conflict is their weak points. Much like when a bar or real fight breaks out in anywhere USA, women flee, it is just in their biology (there maybe exceptions to the rule, but the rule still stands). Female officers are great at comforting people when needed.
Damn, two cops hiding behind a wall in corridor, one cop in bathroom, while the bald cop in suit is handling the business. No one tried to cover him too wtf. We see the lady cop get to the boy and pray, but by that time the suspect was already down.
And bald-guy isn't even a cop, he is just a TABC agent who took a side-gig at the church since he is licensed as a peace officer. So no credit at all goes to Houston Police.
If you watch the video again closely you will notice that those two female cops didn't move an inch until the perp was being yelled at to drop the weapon. Thus they knew it was safe to finally move.
The first officer that ducked into the bathroom was really close and I think truly felt pinned down. The other two officers that were afraid to move up, however.. cowards.
One cop hiding in the bathroom until the threat was neutralized, the other two female officers hiding near the stairs…the only officer worth his salt was off duty one in the suit. This is just more proof that the majority of police aren’t going to or won’t save you when you need them most. They will be there after you are a victim so carry everyday and take responsibility for you own life.
What a complete and utter F-UP. No plan, no strategy, no courage. They didn't even know their way around the place. Well meaning people for sure but not at all cut out for this job.
It’s so crazy how many Houston I’m always shocked at how many!
That first cop had the perfect opportunity to take her out, but failed. Female cop came out, completely clueless and goes back to her closet🤦♂️. Holy crap. This is what happens when you the pay is crap and you lower standards to get more candidates passed. Out of all these armed people, only one had some balls. So aggravating.

How do you miss a static target with a safe backdrop???
I do armed security for federal buildings. Every time I'm at a new building I play out scenarios in my head on how I will engage. I've been deployed to Iraq but never been in a gun fight in my life. But it just the mind set. It kinda like just pumping my self up or brain washing my self to make sure I get mentally ready for a gun fight. God forbid it happens but if it does I hope will be ready and move on the threat fast.
I am not an expert but I believe you have the right mindset based on your past training. Visualization and mental preparedness is a life skill and not isolated to your profession. I pray you never have to be in position like in this video. Thanks for your service. Stay Alert, Stay Alive.

@@vulgardisplayoftruth2060Money buys quality people who had training. Why would they go to police if they can make more money elsewhere?
It’s unfortunate for sure. The media is to blame for no one wanting to be police officers either though. Every time a police officer actually does their job, they get criticized and yelled at and the media makes the criminals out to be the good guys, the police bad. Less and less police officers want to do anything because they are afraid of not just the situation, but what happens if they make the wrong decision. The one officer is worrying about nothing but the fact that her badge cam isn’t working. What does that tell you? She’s so afraid to make the wrong decision and get in trouble, rather than just moving forward and taking out the threat. It’s all unfortunate.
