@@TheTaekwon3 i guess they don't really have tangible proof. People in the offices aren't going to snitch on their bosses and coworkers. It's like what happened with Mac Jones, he called his college coaches to vent, and they went behind his back and told the Patriots staff about their conversations. The players are fighting an up hill battle and they don't really have allies in the situation.

If you give a kid millions with no structure and they got in trouble without millions and structure, what do you think is likely to happen???Coaches have to tell the truth about players otherwise they screw up their credibility and their ability to vouch for any future player. The treadmill test isn't exactly done to check your physical shape. It's to see how you function internally. It's for your circulation and that sort of thing. You can always "push yourself to the limit" because your body can take it, but you don't know how your heart is handling it. There are people in tip top shape who later find out that they have problems with their heart after doing the stress test. Be it a partial block or something else, that's the test they conduct to determine that. They do it for jobs that take a toll on you physically.

This conversation right here shows you why there are OWNERS, and there are PLAYERS, just the same as EMPLOYERS and EMPLOYEES..These players are really showing their lack of intelligence and very limited mindset. It’s a big check for sure, but someone is endorsing that check at the end of the day.

LOL, look at your presidents. Your comment shows you only agree with the mindset of racist America. The MAJORITY decides what is right and what is wrong. Name another multi-billion dollar industry where the employees get fined millions for saying something bad about a consultant (referee), or an entire paycheck for a touching someone (foul in a game). There is nothing fair about the treatment of the employees (players) of the NBA vs the return the owners receive from the production of the players.

lol saying people lack intelligence because you have a different opinion shows a lack of intelligence. These “players” are also OWNERS and EMPLOYERS outside of their basketball careers. There isn’t any single mindset or mentality for an Owner/Employer.

Peace Gil n Rashad is must see!!!! Gil you have perfect views of the game inside and out, Now I ask how do we get magic, Luka, confused as guards and not put as forwards w/ guard skill set. Also I never watch any player guard 1-4 so why that narrative exists and also it's only to position that have changed pg is not longer traditional and pf doesn't exist it's now 2 wings 2 guards and centers

McCants has an accountability issue. It’s never his fault, he always blames others for the negative things that’s happened to him in his playing career yet it’s been consistent everywhere he’s gone in what they say about him. That’s no coincidence.

The players won’t say anything because they don’t want to be a snitch. It doesn’t mean players like you or they don’t tell the coach shit you do. It’s just not that simple. And it’s not always legit labels. It’s complex. Keep your head low and be nice to folks. Don’t let people get you out of character. Safest way to the bag.

Plus some coaches and GMs have been known to embellish some of the facts because they all look at it like who cares why because theres plenty of more trees bearing fruit for the NBA especially with foreign players also now being in those pastures.

What GIL is talking about is true 1000%
I played pro and I've been there. A lot of those guys have this ego and pride that has nothing to do with actual game skill. They don't know how to evaluate talent or skill. They go by what others say. And many times they owe each other favors and they will call another evaluator and say he did this for me or This guy is this or that. A lot of it is relationship or favor base behind-the-scenes stuff we don't know about.

That's some bs, no one wants to invest millions into someone that's going to be trouble, that goes for ANY industry. At 18, hell even 14, you should have enough sense to know you're being offered an opportunity to make 8+ figures and build generational wealth, that should be enough for you to get your shit together. Notice it's all the trouble makers that have an issue with people calling out their bad behaviour lol

These guys missed the mark at least 2-3 of the guys on the couch were bad teammates whether they knew it or not. And they do not understand that a coach, just like a supervisor in the workplace, can observe how the player impacts the other players, the team, the culture, the morale, etc. To say it shouldn’t come from a coach is a stupid take.

There is a risk giving 18,19,20 year olds millions of dollars with little supervision and structure. So why is it an issue if the owners sees potential issues and says nah. Money makes u more of who you are. It's funny because they dont want to be judged on passt behavior, but when they are ready for a contract, they want more money based on past performance. U can't have it both ways🤷🏾‍♂️

To be fair the nba has already experienced Reggie Harding. The 1st player drafted to not play in college. He commited armed robbery while playing in the nba, and rapped multiple women. Not to mention he also pulled guns on teammates like gil lol. Plus threatened to kill his gm during a tv interview. So the nba has taken character more serious over the years. Millions or billions are at risk.

They're looking at the business of it from the wrong perspective. Coaches are like your supervisor at any other job. If you're constantly giving your supervisor shit and dawging the other workers, you're not going to be getting any glowing reviews when they talk to the manager about you and other companys come calling for a reference. EVERY business is political like this. Also like any other job there is a criminal background check. If you're a thief you're not getting hired. Plain and simple.
