John Treagood Fund

Richard Horsfield & Shane Solomon talk about the fundraising campaign set up to help John Treagood.
John has been travelling around the South West UK for over 20 years with his two dogs and Gildor his Irish Cob horse.
John is a very popular sight on the roads, a part of Devon life that people cherish.
Unfortunately Gildor became seriously ill and the decision was made to put him to sleep.
This left John stranded on a roundabout in Devon, unable to go anywhere.
Richard set up a fundraising page with the aim of getting enough money to find a new horse for John as quickly as possible.
The public quickly became aware of the page and through their generosity have so far raised over £5,000. This may be enough to not only find a new horse, but also provide John with new equipment and even a new caravan too.
John is supported by a variety of Devon people on a regular basis and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them publicly for their support.
